Description
The new generation UTG Dovetail to Picatinny/Weaver Adapter Mount features a scalloped cut MIL-STD 1913 rail with fully dehorned corners and melted contours. It provides ample space for the snag-free mounting of your optics. The 3, high-strength locking screws ensure the most solid mount-to-receiver lock up, while the bottom lightning cuts reduce the overall weight of the mount. The unit also has a recoil resistant stop pin for additional retention of zero.

What Others Should KnowThis item fits my Pyramyd Lasso Scope Mount perfectly. Three items that I have that are designed for picatinny rails ALL fit this item.
The matte finish looks nice.
Things I Would Have ChangedIt does not work/fit Picatinny mounts as expected. The 11mm bottom section fits the bottom fine. The top is wrong. I have tried to slide 11 different make and model Picatinny scope rings to this - not a single one will fit. (tested the same scope rings on other weapons with P-rails and all worked) Pulling out the dial calipers - seems the rail it too thick (tall). The angles on the sides are off. Without access to a metal planner to take the extra metal off the top - the unit I received cannot be made to fit.
What Others Should KnowIt's not every expensive - but - it should at least be close enough the average person could make it work. The unit I received was a total waste of allot of my time. Took me a long time to figure out why the quick releases were not going back where they should. Wasn't until I grabbed a fixed normal scope ring that I discovered this base is out of tolerance.
Repeatable on/off/on zero.

Just the trick for most magnum springers. I haven't had any scope slide since. I say most, I'm not shooting 125s and 135s, just high power breakers.
