Things I liked: ordered mine in .25 . its a at44 long in bullpup stock, so that says it all, quiet powerful accurate ,sturdy and of course heavy.it does shoulder better than my at44 ,less weight up front.
Things I would have changed: add mag holder
What others should know: if you are going to use a pellet trap make it a powder burner style ,this thing hits hard hard hard. and thanks p.a..had a small problem with mags you guys and gals took care of it with no hassle and supper fast, happy holidays too you, and many more to come.
Things I liked: I've owned an AT44 for several years and its an excellent gun. Hatsan products are usually a good value for the money spent. The Bullboss is an AT44 in a bullpup stock, I like the gun in general that's why I gave it 3 stars instead of only 1.
Things I would have changed: I bought the Bullboss .177 during PA's Black Friday sale and was really looking forward to getting it. After I received it, it all went down hill. Accuracy was so bad, 5 of the first 10 shots completely missed an 8 X 11 target. Tried many different pellets, but no difference. Returned it & PA replaced it promptly, hats off to PA. The replacement wasn't much better. Its not PA's fault so I didn't want to make them take it back again, so, I emailed Hatsan USA. Their only response was to sell me a replacement barrel for $94.00. Thanks but no thanks! So, I guess I'll make a project gun out of it & buy a custom LW barrel for it, and make a real shooter out of it.
What others should know: My problems with these two guns are not typical of Hatsan guns in general. A bad batch of barrels or just bad luck on my part.
Things I liked: Excellent workmanship and quality speaks for itself on any Hatsan product. This was one of the best guns I owned. Turkish company made a great affordable gun for us to enjoy for years to come. Thank you Hatsan and Thank you Pyramid air for shipping it fast.
Things I would have changed: nothing
What others should know: buy the compatible hatsan air pump it comes with everything you need .

Can anyone confirm my suspicion that the hammer spring on the rifle is not adjustable?
Do not cock gun on Bullboss, everything else in video below is correct
Hammer spring is adjustable, Gladius & Bullboss are the same, here's how..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pX3kqEol4Ag
update from Hatsan: they claim the hammer spring is adjustable. Exactly how to adjust it is another story.
does anyone know the thread pitch on the end of the shroud??
How many shots can you get in a 900 range with a 25 grain jsb and how would you rate the sound
As we already posted an answer we wanted to add some related testing. We have tried to get up to 900 fps and the most we could reach up was a chrono peak of 866 fps…no more. With no mods, as it is the way we expected because it was advertised as such. We contacted Hatsan, and the 970 fps, is meant to be with a 19.91 gr pellet. The ‘super-smarts’ now will come saying yes but if you do this or that….we are talking about as the rifle was advertised and as you pay for that with sound money. Also, maybe weird but it is the way it works in ours. In the rifle we received, the adjustments for hammer spring and trigger are “the other way around.” It means clockwise adds fps to the hammer and less pound to the trigger. Yes…yes..sss…. we know you smart one think we did it wrong… No…we did it the way it suppose to be done locking the hammer, etc, etc; and even removed the stock to check….but it works anyway. The rifle is accurate and still hits hard, but now you know. Our sidelever also came all with rust in the inside’s arm, thus we had some extra work there too by removing it and adding some oil.
Bullboss . 25 caliber. Tuned the hammer spring around 860 fps; also the trigger to 2 pounds with almost no first stage, just a little. Standing on a bipod, 35 yards and JSB 25.39 gr, shot 36 good shots (center of the target) with speeds from 864 to 814 fps. Average 840 fps, as the only 814s were the last two 35 and 36 shots. After that, still had 5 not bad shots, 1 to 1 1/2 inch (795 to 765 fps) till reaching the limit of 100 bar. Even after that went down to 90 bar (not recommended) in order to finish up the magazine all the way to 45 shots, last one was 756 fps, and yet hitting very hard, with a 1 1/2 inch shot. Stopped there and refilled. Sound was 68 db, in the backyard. Maybe we got a good one, but it seemed to me that with such numbers there is no need of regulator but just a spare cylinder. Hope it helps to answer your question.
It would depend on the caliber with .177 shot count could higher than say a 22 or 25 caliber. My Gladius in 25 caliber can easily shoot pretty close to two clips in the 900's . As far as the sound its more like a spring noise than anything else (very quiet ) back yard friendly . There are many videos on the internet that can give you an idea of the sound (more like a ping ).
