Things I liked: I was just looking for an air pistol to plink some targets in my backyard. When I received it I took 10 shots, made small adjustment to the rear sights and was hitting dead center. This a great pistol for having some fun target shooting.
Things I would have changed: Cocking the gun takes some strength to close it after loading.
What others should know: Just remember this is still a firearm, use extreme safety.
Things I liked: I've run over a thousand pellets through this pistol without an issue. The older version had problems with sealing, but they fixed this issue. Great value for the money.
Things I would have changed: The fiber optic sights could be more durable, although repair is easy with a lighter. The dovetail rails are plastic, so don't put too much pressure on it while cocking with an red dot/scope on.
What others should know: Oil your gun after a tin of pellets.
Things I liked: great gun
Things I would have changed: nothing

What is it made of
The trigger blades on my 2 are differently steel not plastic.
Mostly plastic; a very tough plastic. The bottom frame has steel rails along it's insides to strengthen the frame and allow stronger pin points. The barrel is rifled steel housed under the top "slide". The air cylinder and piston are aluminum. The trigger mechanism is steel; the trigger is plastic, but the trigger bearing on the sear mechanism is steel. The entire trigger mechanism, housed under the right side grip frame is rather complex; extraordinary! The rear sight is steel inset into rails molded into the top frame and is elevation and windage adjustable by screws. The plastic fiber optics, both front and rear are excellent, but rather delicate. My first P17 has over 4000 pellets through it.
would i have any trouble with getting one to Australia?
Can you shoot 6 mm round bb's in this gun? Someone please answer quick
This product shoots pellets only. It does not shoot steel bb's or airsoft BB's.
If you read the description it states that this is a single shot PELLET pistol...not a BB GUN
