| German quality, hand-assembled and ready to accept any task you give it! At only 7.3 lbs., this breakbarrel marvel will delight you with spot-on accuracy. The R9 begs to be shot all day long, and you'll have a hard time refusing. Repeatable accuracy is built into the gun at the factory, and you won't outgrow it. Its German heritage ensures that it'll perform flawlessly for hunting, pest elimination, paper targets, field targets or plinking. If you plan to shoot field target, .177 is the optimum caliber. If hunting small game and pest elimination are in your plans, .20 caliber is a better choice. Includes 1" scope rings, medium profile, vertical scope stop in one ring, 2 screws per base & 4 screws per ring cap. The hardwood Monte Carlo stock includes a slightly raised cheekpiece that is so unobtrusive that it's ambidextrous! The dependable breakbarrel mechanism is smooth and easy to cock. The famous Rekord trigger is the standard by which all other triggers are measured and can be adjusted to suit your needs. Easily add a scope on the 11mm dovetails; accepts a vertical scope stop pin. Don't forget to pick up a variety of recommended pellets, which are listed in the AMMO link. Reviews summary Beeman R9 Air Rifle, No Sights
Things I liked:build quality, weight, accuracy. I own a TX200 and now the R9. These two guns do nothing but compliment each other. The R9 just wants to be shot all day.I now have a hard time deciding which one to pick up. So I take them both everywhere. I am using a Bushnell Trophy XLT 4/12/40.And H&N 14.6 field target pellets are getting my best groups. Things I would have changed:nothing! just an awesome gun. What others should know:This is an all around fantastic gun that is a bargain for what it does. It will make you smile every time you pick it up to shoot. Things I would have changed:Nothing needs changing in this rifle.
What others should know:The Beeman R9 is my first air rifle. A group of guys that got me into air rifles suggested the R9 for its reputation and quality. They said that the trigger is the best around and I must agree. The trigger is very crisp. This rifle just feels good when you pick it up. The wood is just beautiful and looks great with the Hawke Eclipse scope. Can't go wrong with this setup. I use JSB Exact pellets.
