German quality, hand-assembled and ready to accept any task you give it! At only 7.3 lbs., this breakbarrel marvel will delight you with spot-on accuracy. The R9 begs to be shot all day long, and you'll have a hard time refusing.

Repeatable accuracy is built into the gun at the factory, and you won't outgrow it. Its German heritage ensures that it'll perform flawlessly for hunting, pest elimination, paper targets, field targets or plinking. If you plan to shoot field target, .177 is the optimum caliber. If hunting small game and pest elimination are in your plans, .20 caliber is a better choice.

Includes 1" scope rings, medium profile, vertical scope stop in one ring, 2 screws per base & 4 screws per ring cap.

The hardwood Monte Carlo stock includes a slightly raised cheekpiece that is so unobtrusive that it's ambidextrous! The dependable breakbarrel mechanism is smooth and easy to cock. The famous Rekord trigger is the standard by which all other triggers are measured and can be adjusted to suit your needs. Easily add a scope on the 11mm dovetails; accepts a vertical scope stop pin.

Don't forget to pick up a variety of recommended pellets, which are listed in the AMMO link. Select appropriate accessories, including scopes and targets, by clicking on the ACCESSORIES link.

Things I liked: The metalwork is very robust. The trigger is smooth and breaks predictably. Great accuracy. Nice weight balance. After a tune kit installation, the shot cycle is brief and pleasant.

Things I would have changed: Fit and finish should be better at this price. Mine came with several minor cosmetic imperfections: small nicks and scratches on the barrel, a nick on the stock, a thin spot in the bluing on the barrel, uneven rubber covering the end of the stock. I needed to shim the stock away from the action as a pin on the cocking arm was shaving a little wood away with each cocking stroke. A casual observer probably wouldn't notice these imperfections. However, as an owner, it's hard not to be a little disappointed that the manufacturer didn't put forth a little more effort while putting together such a well designed rifle.

What others should know: Popular reviews on the internet suggest this gun has a smooth shot cycle out of the box, so I was surprised by the amount of spring twang I felt and heard when shooting the gun. I was able to clean the twang up with an aftermarket tune kit. It shoots brilliantly now. If you don't want a twangy rifle, factor the cost of a tune kit with your purchase. If you want an accurate, easy to shoot gun that will last, this may be the gun for you. If you want all that and pristine finish quality you may want to look at something else.

Things I liked: What is there to say that's not already been said, everything about this gun is quality, the finish, stock, accuracy, trigger, size and weight. It is the best buy in spring air rifles out there, for the price I know you cannot find a more accurate springer that can be handed down to your grandchildren some day.

Things I would have changed: Nothing

What others should know: I have wanted a Beeman rifle ever since I was a kid getting the Beeman catalogs back in the 70's, its been a long wait, but I'd have to say it was worth it, when I took the rifle out of the box and pulled the plastic off, it was everything I all ways thought it would be and more. Thanks Dr. Beeman

  • james from USA asked:

Which fps is it? PA says 740fps and the person that answered the question says 900?????

    • Paul from USA:

I'm sorry I was referring to the .177 caliber. Thanks Mark for clearing up my incomplete answer.

    • Mark from USA:

740 fps in .22, and 900 fps in .177. Velocity also depends on the weight of the pellet you use.

  • KENNETH from USA asked:

Which brand of rings ships with the rifle?

    • Mark from USA:

      tech. force

  • Chevota from USA asked:

40lbs cocking effort seems excessive for this low power range, or is that a typo? I would've guessed closer to 25. Can anyone confirm?

    • Paul from USA:

The test I did for Hard Air Magazine we got 35Lb.s of cocking force. Remember this rifle is not a low powered rifle it gets over 900 F.P.S.

    • Cory from USA:

The cocking effort is approx. 40 lbs for this model.
