Out of all the pellets I've tested, H&Ns (.177 and .22) work the best in all my rifles ("gassers" and "springers'). They are very consistent in shape and weight.

The only pellet that works in my old (1998) RWS M36 break barrel springer. These are tight in my other, newer, guns, but work great in the 36.

What Others Should KnowShoots excellent out of my Daisy 880. I can only shoot up to 20yds in my backyard. At 4 pumps I consistently hit a penny and it is more than plenty for pesting

These were recommended to me by a professional air gunsmith / tuner of Weihrauch and other top end springers. They deliver 1/2" groups for my scoped / rested HW30 & HW50 at 25 yards. If I miss the 1/2" circle it is by about 1/4 inch and I believe 99% of my misses are me or fouling in the barrel. If there are flyers they are not obvious.
