10 of 66 H&N Baracuda match, .177 Cal Reviews
Quality as always with h&n my weihrauch hw50 loves these and the air arms 10.4 grain but the bc is better with h&n baracuda my tests I came up with bc of 0.030 for h&n 10.65gr and 0.028bc for the air arms 10.4gr and the h&n head size is way more consistent
Things I Would Have Changed500 per tin instead of 400
What Others Should KnowIf you shoot German springers give these a try there actually maintaining more speed and energy at 50 yards then the lightweight pellets and better in the wind
every thing verry clean verry accurate in most of my guns
Things I Would Have Changednadadt
A little cleaner than Crosman 10.5 s & no seam marks running down the side no point of impact change from Crosman 10.5 s
Things I Would Have Changeda little cheaper to offset S&H
What Others Should Knowwork well in a myriad of pellet guns I have 4/ 177 Cal pellet guns & they all like these to varying degrees. the lead seams softer making for a better seal in the barrel. thicker skirt better for magnum rifles pcp s too
nice clean pellets no flash or seams hold together well after impact
Things I Would Have Changednothing
What Others Should Knowequal to crosman 10.5 s just cost a little more ( negatable ) though .
Accuracy and uniformity
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing
What Others Should KnowDon't push these pellets more than 1,000fps accuracy will suffer a bit at long range.
Book match ammo ran well through my Air Force edge
Things I Would Have ChangedSome rounds are not uniform have dents
What Others Should KnowBy four match training
They are the most accurate pellets I have found for ALMOST all of my 10 pellet guns.
Things I Would Have ChangedMake it plain on the container TOP the size of the pellet. I bought the 4.52 without knowing it, and when I re-ordered pellets, I got 4.50, without knowing it. I wondered why these weren't as accurate as the ones I bought before, thinking they were the same pellet. Fortunately, someone at PYRAMYD AIR brought it to my attention that these pellets were available in different sizes. It would have helped in the actual size of the pellet had been ON THE TOP OF THE CONTAINER!
What Others Should KnowBuy a can of each size, find out which size your gun likes, then only buy that size.
Not bad
Things I Would Have ChangedFly a little straighter
What Others Should KnowIt's probably not the best.choice for the gamo wilcat
Consistency; moderate wind resistance.
Things I Would Have ChangedNone.
What Others Should KnowMy venerable Crosman Fury has always been picky with pellets. These are at last the right fit. A 3/4 group at 25 yards is pretty good for a break barrel. It may have something to do with barrel harmonics. Haven't tried them with any other gun, but it's nice to finally have settled on the right one for my Fury. Will it work as well with later evolutions of the gun? Only some experimenting will tell.

I appreciate the consistency in head size and weight of these pellets. They are "match grade" ,"hand selected" pellets. The weights of these pellets aren't EXACTLY from pellet to pellet, but they are a lot more uniform in size, shape, and weight than other tins of pellets. They have been somewhat picked through and sorted to be more consistent from pellet to pellet than just any randomly filled tins. These pellets also tend to perform best in my German barreled airguns. They tend to be best in my weihrauch and Diana spring guns. They also shoot well in some of my other brand airguns having Walther barrels. I would recommend these 10.65 grain pellets because the slightly higher weight tends to be more stable in some of the magnum springers.
Things I Would Have ChangedI wouldn't change anything as far as these pellets are concerned. If I were using these pellets without attaining the best results , I would change to a different model and/or weight.
What Others Should KnowI would recommend a test tin of H&N pellets to find the correct model for my gun. Even though certain brands of airguns perform well with a particular brand of ammunition, every barrel is quite different. The best accuracy and power may be attainable by using other brands of ammunition.
