Well made with a beautiful finish. Very clear optics. Easy to adjust. Air gun recoil tested. Adjustable objective.
Things I would have changed:None
What others should know:Plenty of magnification for hunting.

Clarity of optics; compact; extended focus range.
Things I would have changed:Need target knobs for better use in silhouette competitions. Trying to remember number of clicks and reset to zero is near impossible with the current elevation and windage knobs. This is a set zero once and forget type of scope. Not good for competition. Maybe for 10 meter target competitions or single distance shooting.
What others should know:Good value, but it may only apply for single setting such as a hunting scope.

This scope has pretty bright glass for the money. The AO markings are pretty close to the actual ranges also. I have several Hawke scopes from sport versions through Airmax. I have used their customer service once and found it to be excellent.
Things I would have changed:Nothing.
What others should know:Eye relief may be a problem on a standard stock rifle. I use mine on an Air Force TalonP and it is not a problem since it has a shorter length of pull.
I used to use a 4X AO with this pistol but wanted a little more magnification as I take shots at 50 yards. This has worked out fine and is only 2 oz heavier than the 4x that I had on it.

Clear optics, holds zero, simple reticle without extra bars or dots
Things I would have changed:Windage and elevation controls need a tool to adjust. Most scopes today have a knurled projection around the control that allows turning them with just your fingers.
What others should know:According to the velocity and consequent FPE my air rifle (RWS 3400 in .177) produces, this scope is right on the edge of being suitable for my rifle's recoil impulse, according to Hawke information. The more expensive Hawke Airmax line is rated for higher FPE airguns. But the Airmax scopes I looked at on Pyramid website all had a very cluttered reticle with bars, dots, and so forth that are useless for my needs. I have only fired about 125 shots through the rifle and scope, so have not yet determined how durable this scope is. So far, so good. The packaging and user manual are well done and convey a quality image.

What a difference! Replaced the scope that came with my Hatsan 95 (.22). This is miles above the other one. I CAN SEE! Kaitlin has always been wonderful to deal with. She's never steered me wrong.

This scope is very clear easy to adjust and mounted nicely on my new Hatsan Flash wood. I didnt weight the scope but it seemed to about average weight. The cross hairs stand out so you can Focus On your target.
Things I would have changed:Really nothing
What others should know:If your just shooting game or targets at 50 yards you dont need a mill dot scope

Brightness, edge-to-edge clarity, and field of view impress at all powers. I don't mind the separate turret caps as the serrated 'wheels' are easy to grip/turn, and so far it has held zero on .22 Trail NP and .17 Trail NP2, the latter being a loan-out to see if OEM 3-9 x 40 C-P was the cause of loose groups. Seems rugged enough for these guns, but only a few hundred rounds shot so far. It's already back on the TNP .22 'to stay', but would be a real sweetie-pie on such as my Rem 597 .22 Mag truck gun if I decide to upgrade the Benji to a 30mm tube scope. It WILL be another Hawke if so. :-)
Things I would have changed:I'd like to see more crisp/distinct turret clicks, but IMO it's a minor point with so many bold positives in this model's favor, and at such an attractive price. Never anxious to 'fix' what isn't 'broke'.
What others should know:I've yet to validate the advice that this 1" tube scope isn't up to high-powered springers but so far, so good, and I'll report back after a few hundred more rounds thru the TNP .22. If your prescription is strong enough (mine is) you may find the AO to be a bit 'off' when the cross-hair is focused most clearly. I plan to try another index dot on the front bell to see if its proportional to range and will comment if that's a usable patch. (got tape?)
Millett ('Weaver-style') Angle-Loc steel rings (P/N AL00011 or AL00711) anchor firmly and easily allow 'rough' windage adjustment on 'rails' before turning turrets. I allow up to 10 shots minimum for each adjustment to 'settle', and they often do within 5. Have shot my best groups ever with this scope, so would recommend it, esp as to 'bang for the buck'.

Very nice and clear scope. No problems with anything. I've just purchased mine, and installed on a RWS Model 34 Diana Compact Hope it will endure lots of spring action shooting.
Things I would have changed:Have learned that I prefer wind and elevation adjustment knobs to not have caps. Probably my fault, but this scope has rather fragile ones, that easily get on crooked, causing concerns about stripping out the threads.
What others should know:Once I got the scope sighted in roughly, I wanted to change my point of impact about a third of an inch. It seemed that I had to click the wind adjustment quite a few times just to get that result.

Crisp image at high and low ranges, solid scope, very good in dim light.
Things I would have changed:This is why this particular scope did not sit well with me the turrents are the finger type and they are short, I bore sighted this scope and did not even turn it 30 plus clicks and it got stiff that my fingers hurt. Im glad I got in on paper and close to bulls eye and finally sighted it in the only worry is my elevation turret is the one acting up very stiff would not give me more for now 100 shots holds true but if I have to tweek it further im worried I will contact Hawke and Pyramind Air about this.
What others should know:Other wise solid scope clear glass even in low light I shot some rats in back of the fence with a low flood light coming of the house still grabbed a perfect picture.

It's a fair price for a good scope. The optics are better than I expected. Nice sharp picture edge to edge. The front focus is really close to the yardage marks to adjust for shot placement. It holds true alignment with no change in POI. Set it and forget it once the right pellets are found. So far so good!!
Things I would have changed:I would like the reticle to be a little finer in the center. It's a bit thick for same hole groups at around 40+ yards. Just covers too much of the bullseye. The recicle's thinnest part may be about 1/4" or so at that distance set at 9X.
What others should know:It's a good scope for pesting. A side adjustable parallax would be a nice feature, but you gotta pay for it. This one's fine with me on the front for what I'm gonna use it for though. An etched glass MD would be better for target practice, for getting the best groups on paper. They're just a bit hard to see in the woods for me. This goes well with a 1" droop compensator base on my RWS 48-.22 springer. So far this seems to be a really good setup. I'm happy with everything.

Sturdy, lightweight, easy/smooth operation of all functions, optics the clearest I've ever seen, light weight, mine has a mil dot reticle, very easy to sight-in, fantastic price for what you get.
Things I would have changed:Maybe make the tube behind the turrets about 1" longer; I was born with a military straight/stiff neck and have to strain forward to get a good sight picture with the reticle.
What others should know:I have UTG, leapers and CP scopes and this is the best in light weight, sturdiness and clear sight. Now my favorite scope!

Came fast and well packed. I really like the 30-30 reticle for airgun use. No need for a mildot on the shorter distances that airguns normally shoot. Solid clicks and holds zero well. Glass is clear, but could use a sunshade on really bright days.
Things I would have changed:Wish there was a sunshade offered for this model.

Excellent rife scope. Good eye relief, reticle, and field of view. I am replacing an UTG True Hunter 3-9X50 that became foggy. Leapers (UTG) would not respond to my Warranty requests so I purchased two of these Hawke rife scopes for my Hatsan break barrels. Hawke scopes certainly seem equal if not superior to UTG. I was able to zero the new Hawkes with very few adjustments. Hawke uses caps over the reticle adjustment screws to prevent moisture intrusion. UTG does not use caps and perhaps that is why my True Hunter is foggy. Also, my Hawkes stay zeroed, while I remember having to make slight adjustments my UTG scopes.
Things I would have changed:Nothing
What others should know:I have several expensive UTG scopes. Two were replaced quickly under warranty. I was very satisfied until recently when my True Hunter became foggy and no warranty response to my repeated requests. I use UTG scope rings and they are absolutely the very best, in my opinion. Of course, the Hawke scopes mounted quickly and perfectly with the UTG scope rings. Pyramyd Air shipped my order quickly in a well packed box. I especially liked the Tracking feature on "ORDERS" so I could be home when UPS arrived.
