Things I liked:

Idea .... period. Quality was low as was performance.

Things I would have changed:

Did not focus well, two dots showed up and were blurry regardless of setting.

What others should know:

You get what you pay for in optics and this is a prime example.

    Things I liked:

Price point vs. quality is right on. You can obviously get a better product but you will pay for it. This sight does it's job. I am using it on a Benj. M-Rod pistol and getting good results at reasonable ranges. Also I dont need a riser to "look" over the magazine in the 22 cal.

    Things I would have changed:

Better dot quality. The red dot is not bad, just a little fuzzy and barely out of round, but the green dot is more of a figure 8 on its side. Not too bad at normal distance and target but when stretching the range or smaller targets it takes a little practice to get used to.

    What others should know:

If you need precision at longer ranges spend a little more. If you are just having fun with your gun get this sight it will do most everything you ask of it.

    Things I liked:

    Its a red dot scope

    Things I would have changed:

Need adjustment if you have a Benjamin Marauder.

    What others should know:

I have a Benjamin Marauder, how can I adjust scope and still be able to use the clip.

    Things I liked:

I liked the flip up lens covers...

    Things I would have changed:

Unable to install on 11mm dovetail rails. Cants to the side.

    What others should know:

I bought this red dot scope, but it cants severely, despite both items claiming 11mm dovetail compatibility: Umarex Trevox Air Pistol. This is not the first time I've come across this problem with other pellet guns and scopes. Am considering returning both...

    Things I liked:

The price seemed good for what i thought i was getting but sadly it's flawed so i guess nothing!

    Things I would have changed:

The mounting platform design needs tweeking!

    What others should know:

Just as someone else said this unit is poorly engineered, it sits on the mount crooked, no matter which mounting configuration i tried i simply could not get it to sit straight, it is offset no mater what. If they had of done a better job of designing this Red dot and it's mounting platform it would be decent for the money by in my opinion since it will not mount straight and centered it's junk!

    Things I liked:

Nice clear dot. Not blurry at higher intensities.

    Things I would have changed:

I ordered 2 of these and both fit poorly. When mounted there is a visible cant to the right of the housing. When illuminated the dot is a full 1/2 inch to the right of the barrel and I tried both on 7 different guns, both pistol and rifle. Zeroing them can be done but instead of moving up or down or left and right the dot moves diagonally i.e. Elevation is up and left and windage is left and down or right and up. Interestingly I tried mounting them backward and it fit perfectly centered over the barrel. Can't shoot them that way but common sense dictates that somehow at the manufacturing point these optics were assembled backward with regard to the mounting rings to the optic barrel. I can't believe that no one at Pyramid X Air has discovered this yet, corrected it and contacted any and all purchasers with exchange replacements. ARE YOU LISTENING PYRAMYD AIR??????? I would return them but finally got them sighted in on my lesser used pistols. Fix this PYRAMYD AIR.

    What others should know:

Don't buy this item until there has been some acknowledgement from Pyramyd Air that defective optics have been replaced with normally functioning optics. I would recommend these to anyone I was shooting competitively with. Would not recommend them to friends with whom I wish to remain friends.

    Things I liked:

Like the ability to change from red to green dot.....also like the 5 settings for intensity of the dot. Easy to sight in on my Crosman 2240 with steel breech.

    Things I would have changed:

Timer to auto turn off the sight....keep forgetting at the end of target session..

    What others should know:

Have had the sight on my Crosman 2240 for about two weeks.....extremely accurate and easy to sight. Wife was in the money ring within 3 shots at 33 feet. Makes my indoor garage range the place to spend cold Winter afternoons.....thanks to Pyramd Air for the recommendation..

    Things I liked:

Nice looking scope. Sharp illumination, seems like it will be easy to zero in. The flip up covers are a nice touch.

    Things I would have changed:

This scope does not mount on any of my 11mm dovetails. I tried it on 4 that I own and it sits kiltered due to the mounting foot machining.

    What others should know:

I don't know how this is going to work out. I do not plan to return this, but plan to do a bit of machining the mount myself. It's definitely an issue with the scope I got. I will have to hold comment on how this scope works out as I haven't even been able to use it because of the mounting issue. I will have to comment further when I have the time to do some work on it. I also commented on this scope earlier and apparently my comment was lost - again. It happens......

    Things I liked:

Overall, this sight seems pretty nice. Flip up covers were included and are nice. The optics are good - my dot is crisp thru both colors and all intensities. Shipping was great - good packaging and care in packing, good arrival timing.

    Things I would have changed:

The clamps for mounting leave a bit to be desired. I haven't had the chance to zero this in yet and that report will be forth coming. I would deepen the dovetail cut and improve the clamp geometry so it mounts squarely on a standard 11mm rail. I may try to machine this myself by hand (with a file) and make it fit and clamp better rather than return it.

    What others should know:

Poor machining practice in manufacture causes this sight to not grip my dovetail on my Hatsan 95 vortex sufficiently on either side of the mounting foot and the clamps themselves do not fit into the gun's dovetail very well. Tightening the screws causes the sight to cant to one side instead of sitting squarely on the saddle and I believe that would make it very hard to zero in the dot. If this isn't remedied, a good jar on the sight would cause it to fall off the gun.

    Solid metal construction, clear optics

    Things I would have changed:

Smaller dot....current dot good for snap shooting but not target.

    What others should know:

1 MOA, not 5 MOA as advertised. 1/2 MOA would be better.

    Things I liked:

11 position adjustable brightness control. Much better than red dots with 3-5 adjustment settings, as they are to bright for darker lighting situations. Quality rubber lens caps that stay on when installed. Excellent for on rimfires and certain air rifles for plinking and quick shooting situations.

    Things I would have changed:

The 1" elevation and windage adjustments are too much to allow for more precise zeroing of the red dot. Should be 1/4" or 1/2" at the most. Precise zeroing is nearly impossible.

    What others should know:

A very good quality red dot at a reasonable price suitable for all rimfires and air rifles with the exception of springer types IMO. I think the harsh recoil of springers may eventually destroy this red dot. Much better than a BSA RGB dot sight I have. The Hawke can be adjusted down to eliminate "scope washout" unlike the BSA. Best suited for plinking and CQ shooting and not benchrest or precision shooting disciplines.

    Things I liked:

The hawks sport optic works great on a break barrel pistol

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

If the red dot does not work or fades away then you need to take the battery cap off and first check the battery for voltage. If the battery is good then bend the 6 prongs out alittle that are on the cap. This will allow them connect the ring better that is around the battery.

Easy to mount, adjust and use. Very versatile with multiple brightness settings. The dot is super sharp and clear under most lighting conditions.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

I have only used this sight on a multi pump rifle with minimal kick and vibration. I wonder how stable the settings would be on my break barrels.

    Things I liked:

Overall nice feeling build quality and easy, secure mounting on my 11mm rail (Beeman P17 currently)

    Things I would have changed:

Having eleven steps of brightness seems kind of silly when you really need to use the brightest step all the time. And at the brighter positions the dot blooms 5x larger like a squished bug, especially at pistol sight distances. I would like to try some other scopes to see if this is commonplace with the inexpensive scopes but I suspect you get what you pay for.

    What others should know:

It would probably be fine with a 3-5 inch eye relief but at arm's length pistol holds it just becomes a blob.

    Things I would have changed:

Needs a post on mount to keep form moving on springers.Adfustments decale on elev. and r&l keep falling off.

    What others should know:

Use locktite (Blue) to keep mount nuts for comming loose.Would not use on springers. Works great on my marauder. Don't leave adjustments caps off while adjusting.
