TenPoint SteddyEddy Crossbow Monopod System Reviews

Hunting turkeys with an arrow necessitates perfect shot placement. Ten Points SteddyEddy is absolutely key as it provides a firm and steady anchor point, giving you the assurance that your arrow will hit the mark. I also arrowed a pronghorn antelope at 73 yards using this shooting stick. It gave me 100 percent confidence that the antelope was mine!

Does not work with all crossbows. Make sure you call to see if it will work with your bow.

I bought the monopod five years ago and have used it extensively, since then. I’ve found it to be a very helpful rest, both in a resting/waiting and sighting positions. I like that it folds to my crossbow and doesn’t interfere with my sling.

Never stays attached. Keeps popping off. Use Primos stick now

I found it to be bulky on my bow plus the quick attach comes apart very easy not what you want for stalking it may work ok in a blind or tree stand to help steady but its not near as good as a tripod so for me it doesnt work takes to long to use unless you have a lot of time to set up because you have to re-attach the coupler all the time and that much hand movement may be detected I feel it was a waste of money for hunting may work for target shooters

The attachment at the bow is not strong enough and will come off the bow if you do not hold it on when shooting.

I have used a SteddyEddy for several years and have found it to be very helpful. I hunt mostly from ladder stands with a shooting rail and it works perfectly when positioned against the rail. I sold my previous bow and the buyer wanted the SteddyEddy with it, so I bought a new one for my new TenPoint Crossbow. I wouldn’t hunt without it.

This is a tricky review for me as it applies to my particular crossbow. The SteadyEddy is supposed to fit on any Tenpoint, wicked Ridge or Horton model. There are 2 or 3 models that the rear clip attaches to opposite of the others. My Vengent 440 is one of them. On my bow, the clip stays attached to the SteadyEddy which makes it very awkward to deploy. The clip also sticks into your waist when you mount it for aiming. That said, the device does perform well to steady the crossbow for aiming. Well worth the purchase for nearly any Tenpoint product.

The only "change" I would make would be to add a second clip to the included mounting packet that would allow the SteadyEddy to be mounted in the same way it is on the other model crossbows. The SteadyEddy itself is fine as is.

Bought these for my wife and I when I retired in 2013. Very pleased with all.Great idea on the steddyeddy. Iv'e been tempted to put one of these on my guns, adaptable to other guns as well.Thankyou for the great product,

I purchased the Monopod system and added it to my new crossbow. Broke walking out after my second hunt with it installed. definately would not waste your money. Great concept but poor quality

I attempted to use this thing. adjustment takes two hands so you cannot adjust it up or down and hold the crossbow. if you attempt with one hand it pops right off. the connection point to the crossbow is weak and it comes off too easily. I put it back in the closet and have never brought it to the stand.

This is a game changer for me ! It’s great for walk and stalk or in your stand or blind.

I was excited to get the steddy Eddy. But. I find if falls off my crossbow with little effort. Is there any solution?

For what I paid I expected it to be adjustable with one hand. Unfortunately you need two hands to lock and unlock the adjustable telescoping sections. The rubber flex head has a bushing pushed into each end, those bushings will rotate in the rubber flex adaptor while your trying to adjust with one hand. I just put two automotive hose clamps on the ends of the flex adaptor and am able to adjust length one handed.

I found the monopod a vast improvement over off-hand shooting, but still felt a bit unstable even with the monopod.

The Steddy Eddy attached to my Titan M1 easily and is just as easy to remove. It enables me to hold the scope on target effortlessly. The only thing that was an issue was the clip that holds the monopod is kinda tall and made it difficult to fit in my particular case. I removed the clip and now use a strip of velcro tape to it in place. I would definitely recommend!

Easy to assemble and stays attached to bow. Fits nicely in the case.

That’s the best investment I’ve ever had for Crossbow I really enjoy it thank you 10 point both my Crossbow‘s are 10 points I will continue on using 10 points they are the best well design manufacture is the best you can have

It isn’t really that tall and if it’s in the bow it drops out a lot. It’s okay but looking back on it now I would rather had a separate monopod
