Things I liked:

This is an amazing gun for the price. I live out west where there is an over abundance of ground squirrels and 200 shot days are the norm. I just wanted a good shooting "beater" to drag along on those days that were apt to change the appearance of my favorite walnut stocked PCP beauty that cost a $1,000 more from a "10" to a 6 or 7. After sighting in, I can honestly say I don't think this gun has ever missed a squirrel (the guy holding the gun has missed a few though). I shoot a lot at 50+ yards. Hands down, I don't think there is a better value out there in the PCP world for predator control.

Things I would have changed:

I would like to see an improvement on the bolt design, but would not change anything that adds to the price. Would I like a better trigger, larger reservoir, shrouded barrel, finer action, etc.? Sure, but those guns are readily available. They just cost more.

What others should know:

Cycling the bolt can be tricky until you get used to it. You have to make sure you hear or feel the audible click of the hammer being latched when it is cocked because the next pellet will load without the hammer latching. If you push the bolt forward before the hammer is fully set, a pellet is loaded but the gun will not fire. Then when you try again to cock the gun, another pellet is loaded into the chamber and the bolt wont completely close. To clear, you must remove the magazine and drop a rod down the barrel to remove the two pellets. Most shooters will catch on real quick. Just know that when you hand it off to your buddy to try, it is best to have a rod handy to extract the double load.

Things I liked:

Synthetic stock, hard to say much as I have not shot it yet.

Things I would have changed:

Gamo needs to do a better job including fill probe when shipping gun.

What others should know:

Gun shipped without fill probe, owners manual shows it should come with one. Pyramyd air did not have one to supply, Gamo did not follow up on request for replacement. Bought the gun in May, still have not shot it in July because I have no way to fill tank. Probes are readily available on multiple UK websites, just takes 2+ weeks to ship to US.

    Things I liked:

Gun is light and works well with different pellets. I am still breaking it in and went from a 14grain to a 18grain pellet and my grouping has improved. mostly target shooting at 25 yards and grouping went from 3/4 inch to 1/2 inch, still wanting to get to 1/4 inch.

    Things I would have changed:

The only thing I would like to change is the gage, I don't like looking down close to the barrel to see the pressure in addition the gage is small and hard to see for 73 year old eyes. If the gage was on the side it would be more convenient.

    Things I liked:

Perfect airgun and price. My second one, wish I would have kept the first one. got it back now. 10 for 10 worked out fine. powerful gun very accurate and easy easy scope mounting. This gun isn't like some other junk that I owned. When there gone and stop making this you best save some money. Because the urban is worth more then $300.00 in my opinion. I own a lot of airguns and powder guns a lot. this gun out shoots most everything and the quality is there.

    Things I would have changed:

Not one thing. May not be perfect, but 99.9 % it is!! Wish I could put my own moderator on. But it's not bad.

    What others should know:

This gun screams for a nice scope. It's worthy of one. I put a Bushnell AR BDC Side focus 4.5x18x40 Works for me. Now anyone can put what ever they like. But please put a good scope on it. This gun can shoot. One more thing it is pretty quiet too.

    Things I liked:

For the price you cant beat this rifle, so far I have only shot it out to 50 yds, from that distance it will shoot groups you can cover with a dime. On squirrels and large turtles it is absolutely deadly (head shots). I like its balance/size. When you fire it the only thing you hear is the pellet hitting the sheet of plywood which keeps my neighbors happy. I have another PCP rifle that cost several times what this Gamo cost and I wind up picking the Gamo 9 out of 10 times when I go out shooting/varminting.

    Things I would have changed:

I dont like the gauge at the end of the fill tube (looking down the barrel to see fill) but I can live with that.

    What others should know:

The rifle seems to like any pellet I have fired in it, even the cheap ones. One of my shooting friends is so impressed he is thinking about getting a 22 also, buy this gun I dont think think you will be disappointed.

    Things I would have changed:

It does not hold air. Even after paying pyramyd to do 10 of 10 which is supposed to come with leak check I still received a gun that leaks.

    What others should know:

This is the second air rifle pyramyd service department dropped the ball on. Customer service department is the worst I have ever communicated with. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company.

This rifle is quite, light, accurate and powerful. I like my NP rifles but this is a new experience for me. Not having the recoil of a springer is AWSOME! Paired with an inexpensive scope , it's been nothing but fun.

    Things I would have changed:

Everything is good. If you want more you pay more.

    What others should know:

Pyramydair did an excellent job with carefully packing my rifle and pellets (much better than others I've purchased from). Thanks Pyramyd Air!

I cant believe how light this gun is. I have sighted my scope in at 25 yards and I was stacking pallet on top of pallet , literally going through the same hole , this gun has the power, the speed and the accuracy, I named her Godspeed. I will update in a few weeks and hopefully have some pictures

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing!!

    What others should know:

A lot of reviewers I watched said that you need to buy an adapter for the filling probe so you can connect your air supply which ever your using, my probe is a complete set and you don’t need an adapter, Maybe Gamo changed its design but I like it.

Im new to the PCP realm and this is my first. I came from a Break barrel (Gamo Mag .22 gen2) and I love both but the Urban has quickly become my Goto..

    Things I would have changed:

I would add an extra clip but other than that, I wouldnt Change anything.

    What others should know:

I had heard that this thing was very accurate up to 70 yards but Im Finding that with the JSB 18.13s Im Hitting respectable numbers at 100 yards. My friends and I put hanging teaspoons and Paintballs (on golf tees) out to generate points per 10 shots. All this to say, at 100 yards, Im very happy with the Urban. Sense this is my first PCP, I dont Have a frame of reference to give.

Just got to use my Urban today for the first time and all I can say is; Im Very pleased with this purchase. We shot from 54yards and this thing is crazy accurate. Its Light and easy to manage. An all around fun riffle

    Things I would have changed:

The only thing I would change is, the cocking (bolt action) feels a little rough. Id love to have lever action

    What others should know:

Nothing really to add here. Its A pretty straight forward riffle

    Things I liked:

Shot a .31 group yesterday at 50 yards with standard Crossman Premier hollow points. Both the Premier and the JSB 18 are very accurate in this little rifle. It is light, quick, great handling and I get 30-32 good shots out of the air tube. You can get more just that it does fall off at that point. I cheat and use a compressor but it only takes five minutes to pump with hand pump so it is very pump friendly. Amazingly accurate. Overall amazing for its price tag, as a matter of fact it performs right along with high end PCP rifles .

    Things I would have changed:

Well it is a 300 dollar rifle, but it would be nice to have a single shot tray, and some means to prevent double loading. However that would increase the cost I am sure.

    What others should know:

Some would call this an entry level PCP. Well it is and as a 67 year old lifetime airgunner I will call it the very best entry level PCP I have ever seen. It goes beyond that though as its accuracy is up there with high end rifles. I did the trigger mod, replaced the screw and mine crisply breaks at 1 pound 4 ounces. Be careful with this and beat the stock with a rubber hammer to make sure the rifle is safe and will not fire on its own. You can also double feed this one, so simply make sure the bolt is fully pulled each shot and be mindful of this as if you do this and fire it anyway......well you cannot buy a replacement moderator which is plastic, you would have to replace the entire barrel assembly. Other than that a very nice little highly accurate rifle and if you are a hunter, easy to tote around all day. It is a keeper. Cheers Kit

    Things I liked:

This is my first PCP and the fact that it has a BSA barrel is what convinced me to give it a try. I ordered the Premier bundle from PA so everything I needed was delivered right to my door. I am new to airguns so "Things I like" are how quiet it is, and no recoil. I was using a Gamo Varmint .177 before this so the Urban is a huge step up over Varmint! Based on reviews on Youtube I bought JSB 18.13 grain pellets and have put many a 10 round group in at 50 yards within an inch CTC. I did clean my barrel after the first 100 shots or so and that really helped tighten my shots up.

    Things I would have changed:

The fit and finish are a bit cheap looking and feeling, but it is a "budget" PCP. There seem to be some rough edges on the suppressor in particular but nothing that interferes with the accuracy. To me the grip seems a bit too narrow and the plastic very hard. It just doesn't have a good "feel" in the hand.

    What others should know:

When my gun arrived I set up the scope and used the Benjamin pump that came with my bundle to pump up the gun. That is a workout! At first the gun would begin to leak at 170 bar, but I was able to shoot it and begin zero the scope. I'm lucky to have a 25 and 50 yard target in my backyard. After a magazine or two I pumped it up again, leak at 170 bar. The leak was coming from the gauge so I Googled and got some info about the gauge maybe being too tight so I removed the gauge and finger tightened it only to have it now leak at 150 bar. I discovered the o-ring was nicked from over tightening from the factory. I called PA to get a new o-ring and they were ready to take the gun back on exchange. I felt this was overkill for a 10 cent part and got in touch with Gamo to send a new o-ring. In the meantime I used an o-ring from the parts bag that comes with the gun and she now holds pressure to 200 bar. As others have said, pump to 200 bar shoot 20 rounds and refill to 200 for best accuracy.

    Things I liked:

I have had the gun for a few weeks and have put about 150 shots through it. The accuracy is very good even with a low end Gamo scope (no parallax), 1/4" groups are easily obtainable at 10 meters. Filling from my compressor it takes about 30 seconds and I get about 40 shots per fill. It is very quiet to shoot, certainly back yard friendly.

    Things I would have changed:

More of a wish list: The bolt could be a bit smoother. It would be great if it included swivel mounts from the factory. There is a provision molded into the inside of the stock forearm for the screw. A camo version would be wicked awesome I am certain I will have good results with the addition of a bipod.

    What others should know:

This gun is a good value.

    Things I liked:

My first PCP! Let buddy test shoot it & he bought one too ! Most pellets shoot well & our two rifles now go everywhere we go ! Buddy took out 2 hogs that were approx 25-35 lbs ea and dropped a wild goat @ 30 yards head shot. Quail stacking up in the freezer & pigeons, rabbits & squirrels getting decimated daily. Could never do that with our old pump guns !

    Things I would have changed:

add rotating fill cover so you do not have to pull it off, trigger adj screw. some attachment points for bipod & single point sling & extra magazine or 2 & mabey a ceracoat finish & camo stock.

    What others should know:

little getting used to the bolt cocking all the way back. ( FIRST USE accidently double loaded pellets but pushed em out w/ cleaning rod) Highly recommended first PCP for the money !

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Things I liked:

The gun looks great, is relatively quiet and according the squirrels and raccoons that lingered in the outgoing pellet's path of travel, it is VERY powerful. The sound of the projectile hitting the target generally makes more sound than the firing of the weapon. All in all, this is an excellent pest-removal device for the money.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger is bizarre right out of the box. It has way too much second-stage travel and it is well worth the time spent watching the videos on how to "fix" this. Even when adjusted to lessen the travel the trigger is plastic and still sort of odd-feeling. BUT, this is a $300 gun. The MOST TROUBLING thing about this gun is the damned barrel band. If too tight, the barrel, if bumped will shift to the left or right and stay there! When this gun came out of the box it WAS shifted to the right and resulted in massive adjustments to scope-windage to correct for it. Once the band was loosened, the barrel snapped back to center and a full, second round of scope centering commenced. Since then, all has been great.

    What others should know:

Time with gun for learning its characteristics is critical. Once all the parts are tweaked and well understood, it is very accurate out to reasonable distances.
