It was a good quality gun can’t argue with that, but it wasn’t exactly what I was thinking. Also the shooting wasn’t exactly on point. That is why I gave it a four and not a five.

I have had alot of air rifles, ( GAMO ) , I love the feel and the style. Great air rifle.

Bought this for my sons birthday, he loves it , we wanted something different that would last him and this is a great bb / pellet rifle will be purchasing another for my younger son for his birthday next !

just the type combo bb and pellet gun with adjustable pressure control and is well built and sturdy

It is a very nice rifle, it has plastic parts but because of the weight you forget that it is plastic, it has good power and improves penetration with pellets, the only thing I would add is a spring where the bb's are reloaded.

I received my gun a couple of days ago works great right out of the box did not even have to adjust the sights. Accuracy is great. The weight Makes it feel like a real gun .Overall great gun to shoot.

I bought this a couple of months and have had so much fun with it. My 14 year old grandson loves it so I bought him one for his birthday.

I think that the air gun was very fun and can take care of unwanted rodents and is pretty accurate looks good but one problem the pellets it comes with can get jammed in the loading place but overall vary fun

I got this rifle a couple of weeks ago as a gift, and have been doing target practice with it every day since. It came with pellets and on the first day I shot nothing but those, zeroing in the site was easy and it was very accurate. The next day I went out and bought some copper-coated bbs and man, that is when it got real fun! Pellets are one at a time, the bbs can be loaded in advance (about 44 is the max I can get to fit), and auto load between shots! I have already gone through over 1k bbs and the only time I miss is when I don't line up the shot before pulling the trigger. As with all arms, it is important to learn your gun. As for the details, pumping is easy and is good isometric exercise! Letting the pump return all the way pumps it up strong, I have found half pumps work also but don't provide the same pressure. I love that the hammer is the safety, I only wish it would spring back on its own after each shot, but the way I hold the rifle when pumping, sets the hammer back down. I don't mind the plastic bits. If you are worried about how long the metal-like finish will last, I just look at my motorcycle mirrors and see that that fake chrome has lasted for years and has gotten lots of abuse. The only real issue is the screws loosen themselves up especially the one under the bb loading bay. A little locktte will fix that. I have added a leather wrap on the lever and plan on making an extended leather stock cover, for me, adding about an inch to the stock will make it a perfect fit. I will most likely also fashion a strap for easy carrying. I highly recommend this beautiful rifle and it fits my Steampunk persona to a T! thanks so much Barra!

This airgun was very easy to sight in and surprisingly accurate. The gun feels like it is made well and is not cheap.

Bought the Barra 4404 Silver 1866 dual ammo gun as a 74 year old for the authentic look primarly. I couldn’t afford a Henry Arms lever action but this is so close in appearance that it has often been mistaken for one. The awesome price, accuracy and good looks are all reasons to buy one yourself. On unboxing, I took it outside in my back yard and became familiar with it. The first five shots were with bbs and I wasn’t even on the paper. I switched to the pellets and within four shots I had a bullseye at roughly 90 feet. I had followed the detailed instructions for sight adjustment as the first pellet was 2” low at 6 o’clock. The next two pellets were 1”high at 12:30 an1 o’clock. The fourth pellet was in the bullseye at 11, 1/8” from dead center. The quality of the 1866 cannot be over empasized. Great looking gun, very accurate with pellets (4-5 pumps) and excellent value for the money. I anticipate a long season of plinking. Oh, by the way, I recommeded Barra to my adult son to introduce my 9 year old granddaughter to the shooting sports.

Was just what I was expecting no surprises simple to use and pump action is smooth and doesn’t become hard to pump

I purchased this so I would have the same gun as my kids so I could teach them to shot and hunt. These guns have been a huge hit with my kids and my self we have had hours of family fun.

My 1886 arrived yesterday & I'm very happy with it! I set a target up 25 yards away. My first few groups were 8" high & 2" to the right of the bullseye. I adjusted the rear sight per instructions in the well written owner's manual. Two groups of 3 shots & all in the bullseye. Gun is powerful, certainly enough to thin out the squirrel population in my barn. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is pellets are difficult to load, I use tweezers.

I bought this to try and discourage critters from damaging my wife's vegetable garden. The gun is very well made for its price. The lever action is made of steel, very solid action. That surprised me. The non wood stock is sturdy, it doesn't feel cheap. Yes, it's plastic resin, but very sturdy. The octagon barrel is steel, so that too adds some weight to the rifle, so it feels sturdy in your hands. Overall very pleased with this purchase, powerful, accurate, don't know what else anyone could ask for at this price point. I have a hunch I'll use this for many years to come. I'd buy it again.

What a gun! real gun size and feel, accurate out to 100' plus, the pump system is wonderful, the tenth pump is as easy as the first! How do they do that? I would give it five stars but it is finicky to load the BB's and especially the pellets, I recommend pointed tweezers to load pellets. I recommend this rifle!

Wonderful performance, all around good weapon accurate up to 45yds. Love the color and glasses are good quality.

When I first received the rifle I was stoked to open the box. I thought that the stock and such was real wood from the pictures. To be honest I was disappointed and considered returning. Aside from that it's a great looking air rifle.
When I shot the gun and I was fully convinced to keep it and is now one of my favorites. In a world where instant gratification seems to lure over everyone, the multiple pumps 3-10 could be tedious. However I found myself enjoying the ritual along with the use of the bolt action, and the safety.

Although it is not real wood, you'd be hard pressed to find anything better for the price. Fun factor is far above it's price point.
