This gun is super fun to use and is very reliable because they built it well.

I like the presentation but i thought it was going to be more powerful

I unboxed my 1866 and was in awe of its beauty!I loaded it up and shot around in my yard!would recommend to everyone!

I like the gun a lot but the gold part is made of plastic. It is really powerful because 4 pumps can send a pellet through a wooden fence so be careful! I haven't tried it for hunting but I hope to get some birds or snakes with this gun.

This rifle got it's first kill on the very first shot, straight out of the box, sights are dead on. The pump lever is solid metal like the type you find on burglar bars. If you are looking for a solution to rodents, small varmint, or plain old plinking fun, look no further.

Perfect for my 8 year old son! He loves the cowboy look. We like the way the safety feature works! Very accurate too.

Gun works great and looks like a western rifle. Both kids and I love it. Perfect gun at the price point.

Overall I like the air rifle I have recommended it to friends and a couple of them has actually went and bought the 1866 Cowboy addition golden air rifle.

It is a great air gun to have/use I use it practically every day and it has the same quality's that a real gun would have it has a sliding bolt, a safety system, and a great trigger.

I bought this having some time at home and wanted something fun to do. It brought back childhood memories of just me in the yard shooting at cans. I'll be using this for fun, and teach my daughter how to use it when she gets older.

The overall look. Easy to pump up 10 times. Solid trigger pull. Sends your pellets or bbs off with a nice, crisp crack of air!

Plastic parts should be metal. Pellet loading.

This definitely has the pumpmaster beat on every level. Only time will tell how it holds up. I've got a 45+ year old pumpmaster that still shoots straight. Hopefully this will last as good.

The rifle looks good, like real one compairing with other companies making this kind of rifle but it's hard(inconveniet) to load pellet.

I love the very design of the airgun the trigger is very smoothit has a good amount of power good weight and is well balanced in all honesty the only thing i wish it had was real wood accents other than that all around amazing airgun

On the box pictures and descriptions look very cool.
However once inside and seeing the real thing was sort of disappointing, most of the gun was made of plastic materials and likely will easily crack scratch and most probably not be very durable, trigger safety is weak, would be nice if it was a working hammer or al least clicked . Would have happily payed more for better quality materials. Otherwise cool looking air gun, hope it shoots good

I love the look and size. It's a fun plinker gun to shoot. I collect air rifles and happy to add this to my collection. It is a usable and quick tool to grab for rodent control. I'll often sit on the back steps and smoke my cigar with an air rifle next to me to take out varmints running in the chicken coup or raiding the bird feeders. This one does the job and is much quicker to use than a break barrel or pcp and has plenty of power for the task. It is an accurate gun.
I would have liked to see the gold plastic be a cheap metal alloy rather than plastic and where the pump lever meets the bottom of the chamber it would be safer it were more flush. The pump lever his the gold plastic when it is pumped and I fear it will crack eventually.
I compare this rifle to the daisy 880, I own both, this one has a more nostalgic feel. I'm happy with my purchase because for the price this airgun is very satisfying.

I love the way it looks and feels and i cant wait to shoot it. Feels solid everything works next is to shoot it. Would do business again and recommend to anyone that likes these kinds of things.
