I love the gold look and the accuracy. My son has been wanting this exact BB gun for a long time, and it was his favorite thing to open Christmas morning.
It is a little heavy for him, but he is still young. All in all I think it is a well made and effective product.

Loading mechanism is as smooth as butter compared to another one I have. It shoots somewhat accurate, and overall has a beautiful look to it. Sadly, when I got it there were already a few scratches on it.

This was a Christmas gift for my son and today was the first day we got it out and it’s awesome! My son fully enjoyed the looks of this gun especially with the gold plate and he was really impressed with how easy it was and the more you pump it the faster the pellet shoots out.

Until now I have kept 2 Red Ryder BB guns out at my Cabin. They are great, inexpensive entry level air rifles. I purchased the Barra 1866 Gold air rifle from my grandson and it is indeed a very nice rifle. It is a very eye pleasing rifle. The ability to vary the FPS is great. I found the gun to be accurate. Most of all it is a very safe gun for young kids to use. The three step process to allow it to fire provides a very safe rifle. My grandson loves it. I am very pleased and look forward to using it for myself as well.

I bought this air rifle for my son for Christmas. He is 8 yrs old and I wanted a quality, realistic air rifle for him to learn gun safety and handling with. So far so good. Obviously the Barra is lighter than his first rifle will be, which is good because he will learn how to confidently handle the weapon. We have been surprised at the accuracy of the rifle with minimal pumping too. We have yet to fire any pellets out of it, but next weekend will be here before we know it.

Loading pellets hard to do, falls into bb hole. Looks good, shoots well, especially in bb mode. Would like real wooden stock (plastic makes it look and feel cheap).

My Grandson got his gun for Christmas.He likes that it's powerful,lite weight,easy to load.He is 9 years old an uses his gun every day for bird hunting and squirrels.

When I was younger all I ever wanted was a cool lever action air gun. I finally have one. Used it a few times with bbs and so far seems accurate. Can’t wait to try it with pellets!

Bought this for my daughter. She is a little cowgirl so she instantly fell in love with how it looks. But more importantly she loves how easy it is to pump. This allows her to shoot farther and hit her targets a lot harder. I have nothing negative to say about this gun. She has a .22 also and hasn’t picked it up for days. Absolutely satisfied with my purchase.

This is hands down the nicest BB gun I have ever owned! Fit and finish are spot on and the pump on it is a high quality metal which makes a huge difference when pumping the gun up. Sights are accurate and I was on target right out of the box. Oh and this thing rips! Pellets and BBs. Sounds great and shoots great. Only con is I have to find a way to keep it away from my son!

Its a very good gun the reason i give it a four is because it needs a little bit more metal and wood. But overall it shoots very well and has no kicks which I like
