The design of this gun is beautiful, I’ve always been a fan of old western style weapons and this lives up to the name. I bought it to go along with my Schofield Revolver No.3 and they look beautiful together, they truly have the quality of a real western gun!

The gun looks nice. There needs to be a better way to load pellets in this. You drop one in there and it turns backwards, so you have to take it out and try to put it in again and it does the same thing. Also there is a hole where I guess the bb’s come out that the pellet can slip into and disappear forever. The spring sight that the adjustment piece goes under doesn’t have enough tension on it so the adjustment piece will wander and throw accuracy out the door. Trigger is horrible. I hate to be mean over a pellet gun but y’all asked for an honest review. I have a pellet gun from when I was a kid and it still works. Why? Because it was made to last. I feel that this gun will not last long at all. Why? Make something for cheap and sell high for profit. Thing is, if a brand name product lasts a long time, when it finally plays out, I would buy that brand again. Now, I think things are made for a profit and quality falls to the wayside. I would love for this to last 30+ years, but i know it won’t. I would be more than glad to do R&D for your company. I can put products through its paces, mildly, and give results/conclusions for you. My son is 6 and can use this gun just fine on his own. Perfect gift and great for beginners.

I like overall look and feel of the airgun. I did find it takes very little force for the hammer to activate the firing pin. So be careful lowering hammer into safety position. I found it best to cycle a bb in place with bolt...ensure the hammer is down then pump rifle up only pull hammer back when ready to fire. Rifle is pretty accurate and repeatable when shooting a target ta 30 feet. I have not tried a longer shot.

It is aesthetically appealing. I like the overall weight and enjoy that it can shoot a variety of bb. I like the way the safety was designed.

I am very happy with this gun overall. Shoots and handles well. Was easy to zero. Never had a Barra air rifle in our home but it was a very fine addition. The look of this gun is awesome. I am very happy with my purchase. The only thing I don't care for is that you have to leave the bolt open to pump the rifle. Took some getting used to after 40 plus years of airgun use. Other than that top notch. Beautiful

The functionality of the gun is great, but the paint on the barrel is very cheap. While cutting off the zip ties in the packaging, the paint scarp off with ease.

I bought the Barra 1866 for my son for Christmas. I am impressed with the feel and accuracy of this gun. My son is very pleased and I am sure he will be spending more time outdoors.

This airgun is affordable for lower income families. It's accurate and seems to be well built. My son loved it and for his first gun he was able to operate it with ease.

I received this air gun as a Christmas gift and go outside everyday just to shoot it even though it's not the warmest every day I still go out there to enjoy this wonderful gun it is very accurate and very powerful the sights on it are amazing I really like the gold. If your looking for a wonderful gift go with this.
