I was in search of a nice authentic pellet rifle when I ran into the 1866. Not only did its aesthetics catch my attention but the reviews. This rifle had the best reviews out of the ones at was looking at and truly left my speechless. My expectations were surpassed and I truly enjoy it. Would definitely recommend.

There isn’t one thing I don’t like about it. It has great accuracy and power all within a reasonable price as well if you have youngsters 9 an above this is an excellent choice!!

Product was as expected and then some. Looks great. And after shooting both BB’s and pellets through it I can say at 30 to 40 feet it’s extremely accurate. I look forward to moving my targets back and test long range.

Seems heavy duty which is good for our 5 year old. A little heavier then we thought but he should be fine holding it. Love the gold color on it and the bolt so he can get use to a bolt action gun. Can't wait to surprise him with his Christmas gift!

Everything about this BB gun is amazing. I’m so glad I bought this one. The only thing I have an issue with is putting actual pellets into the gun… it’s very hard for me to get the pellet sitting correctly to use that ammunition but normal BBS are great.

The 1866 cowboy series air rifle is a well built eye-catching air rifle. it takes some time to zero-in the sights but once that's done it shoots nicely. i made the mistake thinking that the air loader lever was short and only went a couple inches ahead of the trigger. the lever goes all the way to the front of the fore-stock making it a little awkward to pump but you get used to it. safety mechanism incorporated to the “hammer†is a nice little touch and you can't go wrong with the high quality gold finish. only thing i wish was different was that the sights had some fiber optic inserts to make easier to see in the afternoon or when visibility is darker. still happy with my purchase.
