Fun Little Starter Bow

I used this bow with my boys when they were 5-6 years old. It's a fun little bow when you set up the target at 5-10 yards and let them fire away. It's a great starter bow to teach them the basics of keeping the bow pointed down range, how to hold the bow, etc. You won't kill anything with this bow, but it's not meant for that.

Waste of money.

This bow does not have an adjustable draw length and when I tried to adjust the draw weight the limbs were loose after a ¼ turn. When I try to adjust the flimsy sights to the lowest position, it still shoot 3ft low at 10 yards.

Great bow to test the waters for a young child

I got this bow for my 6 year old nephew when he took an initial interest to me shooting my bow around him. This bow was great and at a good price point for testing out his ability to shoot more than just 1 afternoon. After using this bow and getting some of the basic fundamentals, we graduated him up to a Royal bow with adjustable draw length and weight. I highly recommend this approach.

    What a mistake!

Do not buy this now. The packaging says just like this website that it adjusts from 13.3-19.5” as mentioned in most reviews. So you can only have 13.5” draw but the weight adjusts to 25lbs No one I know has a child with short of draw that pulls 25 lbs. Way to go Bear you your engineers and advertising department should be proud of such a thought out design. And Thanks for really letting my 8 year old sons birthday one he won’t forget for all the wrong reasons. I only bought because of the adjustable draw what a P O £>^*

    DISAPPOINTMENT

My two grandsons one 6 the other 11 each received one of these for Christmas. Imagine my surprise when I learned they are not adjustable. Neither one of them can use this bow!

This bow's draw length IS NOT adjustable....

As the title says the draw length is not adjustable in the sense other compound bows are adjustable. Apparently, they deem this bow adjustable by the fact that there are a few inches of play after the let-off. This is some tricky marketing from a company I thought I could trust. I would never have purchased this bow had I known it was NOT in fact adjustable.

    Waste of money.

I bought this for my son (7 years old) to learn to shoot. The reason I bought this was because it has a draw length range from 13.5 to 19.5 inches. This does NOT have the ability to adjust the length at all. My son used this for 2 month and then outgrew the bow.

0 out 5 would be more suitable

I bought this bow on a whim and regretted the decision within moments of presenting to the child. I've never measured a kid of any age, how was I to know the draw length, of prior mentioned child. It's too small for the child at the age point specified on the packaging and why include a draw length range on a compound bow when it's not adjustable. I went compound for the letoff that is achieved at full draw to aid in holding long enough to aim because children are weak. I try to incorporate humour to cover up my disdain for this product. Shame

    Petty bad pretty good

The strings came off in the first week of using It I couldn’t fix it and a repair shop couldn’t either

    Perfect for beginners.

For the quality and price point you really cannot beat this. My seven almost eight year old son absolutely love this bow and the set up makes teaching him the basics so much easier.
