    Things I liked:

Solid and very accurate. A great value for the price.

    Things I would have changed:

Only complaint I have -- and it's not really a complaint since spring pistons tend to jar bolts loose -- is the barrel bolt loosens after 10 rounds are fired, especially the .177 barrel.

    What others should know:

I have kept the .177 barrel on mine since I have a .22 RWS Diana Model 34. I have found the most accurate pellet for my Beeman RS2 to be the Beeman Kodiak 10.65 gr.. Just awesome punch and pin point accuracy.

    Things I liked:

Barrels and scope are easy to mount and change.

    Things I would have changed:

Terrible accuracy. At 25 yards, the .177 barrel averaged 6.5" with 5-shot groups. The .22 barrel average 3.25" with 5-shot groups.... and I'm subtracting 1/4" for approximate aiming error, which I think is the maximum possible for the worst shot I made while testing. The .177 muzzle velocity averaged about 870 FPS w/ 8.2 grain pellets, standard deviation of 25-30 FPS. The .22 muzzle velocity averaged about 650 FPS with 15.4 grain pellets, standard deviation of about 15 FPS. Dieseling was so bad that the rifle is smokier than a .22 long rifle. Point of impact shift between barrels was 6 inches horizontally and not much vertically.

    What others should know:

While this rifle functions, it is so inconsistent that I consider it defective. Typical Made in China junk. Don't waste your time with it.

    Things I liked:

Excellent price, good weight and balance, interchangeable barrels.

    Things I would have changed:

the silver trigger looks a little tacky, but I think it's a pretty good trigger.

    What others should know:

This is my first real adult airgun, so I am very new to all this. I have done a ton of research on all different makes and models. I considered buying a high end airgun, but before I dropped $400+ I wanted to be sure I enjoyed the sport, and what caliber I would enjoy most. This gun fit my needs to perfection! Not only did it introduce me to this awesome sport, it also gave me both calibers to plink around with. After around 50 shots I was getting 3/4" groups at 15 yards and that just tickled me pink. Now, that I'm hooked on this sport I will definitely being making that $400+ airgun purchase.

    Things I liked:

Accurate rifle with a real wood stock. I like the way it looks and feels. Shoots with some force.

    Things I would have changed:

Make it a little easier to open the breech. It is a heavy pull, but I have gotten used to it, and making it too easy might take some of the power out of it.

    What others should know:

I installed the .22 barrel after a few test shots with the .177 and have not switched back. With the .22 installed, using the open sights and artillery hold, I find it to be very accurate for target shooting at ~ 10m. You will want to use the artillery hold as this gun does recoil like a spring-piston rifle will. It seems to really like the Crosman Premier domed hollow points over the other brands I have tried. It drives those deeper into the duct seal in my trap. I have no complaints with the open sights. The rear sights have a very fine adjustment for windage... it will look like it is not moving at all, but if you watch the blade in relation to the hash marks you will see it is moving. After reading some reviews that claim the supplied optics come loose too easily on the RS2, I did not attempt to install them on this rifle. I installed them instead on my 30+ year-old Crosman 766 American Classic. They were easy to install (once I lowered the 766's rear open sight) and work/look real good on it. FYI, this rifle is the same one that other places market as the "Grizzly X2," with the notable exception being that the X2 does not come with the nice-looking carry case.

    Things I liked:

Not a bad starter rifle; plenty powerful for rabbits and raccoons, even. The open sights aren't very durable, but they're adequate. Scope is simple, but works well. Stock size and shape feels good. I've had mine for three years now, and it still shoots 5 shots into a quarter at 30 yds without much effort.

    Things I would have changed:

How about a sling? Lack of checkering makes the stock slippery with wet hands.

    What others should know:

Cocking effort not really suited for younger kids. Sure hard to go wrong with the price, though.

like th dual caliber run out of pellets for one use the other

    Things I would have changed:

    better quality scope and sights

    What others should know:

shot pattern tends to be a little off if your looking for a cheap semi reliable air gun this ones good but if you want pin point shooting look into others

    Things I liked:

I like that its dual calibers I love the wood pattern its great and reliable. Also the front sight shroud nice and durable keeps the front site from damage. It is quite accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

The recoil it doesn't hurt your shoulder just that sights start sliding back. Also the recoil causes the barrel to come loose after 10 shots or so.

    What others should know:

It likes to shoot Daisy precision max pellets hit a milk jug at 50 yards with wadcutters. Also to lighten the trigger pull theres a flat head screw behind the trigger turn it 1/4 of a turn counter clockwise. Scope is crap so buy a new one or stick with open sights.

    Things I liked:

Another update here ... set a new personal record yesterday. With the .177 barrel and Beeman Kodiak Match 10.65 gn. pellets, I put 3 rounds inside a 1/2".

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing for the price. I sold my first RS2 to a friend after shooting it 1000's of times. He continues to shoot it regularly.

    What others should know:

I can't believe you can get such a gun for the price. All I can ad is to check the barrel set screw from time to time. I have noticed that if it seems the actual barrel is not flush with the barrel housing (when loading a pellet) it is because the set screw is getting loose. Checking the set screw is the only kink with this fine pellet rifle!

    Things I liked:

I like the design and the power of this gun. Accuracy is doing totally fine within 50 yards, over 50 you may want a better scope and adjustment.

    Things I would have changed:

the trigger is feel like little not real. It would be great if made out of metal.

    What others should know:

Mid-low, not really gonna bother neighbor if shot at back yard, got the proper power to handle small game. Great buy!

    Things I would have changed:

the trigger feels not really good. better change to metal or something else.

    What others should know:

very powerful gun, good enough for small game. You might take down something bigger on the .22 barrel!

Solid Air rifle that doesn't feel like a toy. Very nice looking stock

    Things I would have changed:

The grip part o the stock, right behind the trigger is a little too large for normal sized hands. Can feel a bit awkward sometimes.

    What others should know:

A little bit on the heavy side. But not really negative, thought that people should be aware.

    Things I liked:

I was surprised as to how hard hitting this springer was with the .22 cal barrel. I was driving through 1/2 plywood at 20 yards. The RS2 is very accurate with the barrel sights. I could not get the scope sighted in and in my opinion is the weakest part of this package. The barrel sights are fiber optic which are nice but plastic. The front sight is protected with metal shroud. The rear sight works good but it needs to be metal for durability. I have not used the .177 barrel yet, so I cant give my opinion on it's accuracy yet. With the .22 I was hitting 1 1/2 inch targets out of trees at 20 yards. The trigger is adjustable, thank god because factory setting is a very long pull. Nice hardwood stock. The RS2 is made in China and I almost did not buy it for this reason but the reviews were good, so I gave it a try.

    Things I would have changed:

The Scope needs to be better. Metal barrel sights. Id like to see a Weaver rail instead of the 11mm dovetail for mounting a good scope.

    What others should know:

For the money it's a good buy. Expect to upgrade the scope if you're going to use one; or just use the barrel sights. Happy hunting

    Things I liked:

The dual caliber, the quality of build for price, power for price.

    Things I would have changed:

Better scope, even if they had to increase the price a little, it would still be worth it's price.

    What others should know:

I own this gun and it's a great first AG for older shooters and/or adults, but it's a bit powerful for younger shooters, maybe 10 and under. Seems to hold up well and like any air gun, you should keep it properly cleaned, oiled, in a case and occasionally go around and tighten everything back up ...just don't over torque it down too much where the parts are binding. Tighten until it feels like it's starting to bind, then back it off a little or until it moves freely but without play and this gun will last.

    Things I liked:

Nice wood stock, sights seem ok, althought a bit far down the action for my taste. Has plenty of power. Easy to cock (even for a little guy like me)Have not played with the trigger adjust yet.Accuracy is pretty good (3 inch at 25yds)should get better with more break in. Overall a decent gun for the money

    Things I would have changed:

A better two stage trigger would be nice. Get away from the fiber optic sights on the rear and replace with a decent big block style.

    What others should know:

Make sure you CLEAN THE BORE before the first shot. Mine was filthy. Finally got barrel clean after some judicious scrubbing and swabbing. Installed a Weaver 4X scope, could not sight in. Need to shim the rear mount (barrel droop perhaps?)Once I get a few hundred rounds through it, should be a good "critter" rifle.

    Things I liked:

I mostly liked the option of 2 barrels even though I was more interested in a .22 cal rifle. Has very good FPS with lead pellets and good penetration using Crosman Premiers in .22. At 25 yards I was able to group 5 shots quarter size out of the box.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger works well but could use improvement. I would like a 3x9 scope but I managed to adjust. Added the UTG dovetail to weaver base, then added UTG high see through rings and can use built in sight for close shots.

    What others should know:

To test penetration in .22 I used an old softcover school book and at 25 feet we got down to page 220 multiple times. Using homemade ballistic geletin 6"w x 4"h x 11" deep, penetration avg was 10" with good expansion. A few went all the way through and into the drywall buffer. I'm certain you could easily take small game and pests out to 30 yards or more.

    Things I liked:

1.) Dual-Caliber: While I had no real reason to own a .22 caliber air rifle, having the option is nice. 2.) Accurate: I mounted a Bushnell 3-9X and this rifle is a tack driver. During crow season, I had kill shots as far as 75 yards. 3.) Economical: I don't think you'll find a nicer rifle for the money.

    Things I would have changed:

The stock is a bit cheap, but considering the price... not bad. The same could be said about the 4X scope.

    What others should know:

I have only had the rifle for about 4 months and 1000 or so shots, but so far it has been awesome. I do not have a single complaint at this time.

    Things I liked:

I like to be able to shoot .17 or .22 pellets with the same rifle. It states that if you change barrels you will have to resight it. I have switched barrels half a dozen times and did not have to resight it. Have not had a barrel loosen up while shooting. It hits really hard. Penatrates a half inch pine board at thirty feet plus. I am using the open sights. I just don't care for scopes. Packaged very well. Like the carrying case. I have not had any problems with the rifle like I have read.

    Things I would have changed:

Somehow make it easier to cock. I am 75 years old and do not have the strength that I had in the good ole days. I have to bring the barrel down to where it is ready to cock then give it another pull with the help of my other hand. Oh well, I need the exercise anyway.

    What others should know:

When you tighten the set screw that holds the barrel in don't be a woose and put some man into it. You will not strip the screw unless you are a gorilla. My name is Bill. Frances is my wife and I use her PayPal account. That's why her name is on the review.

    Things I liked:

The price, dual barrels, "okay" starter scope, has a nice feel to it, not something that feels CHEAP that would break after a week. after a good cleaning, getting a feel for the gun, hitting VERY accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

how the barrels lock in, maybe a different scope mount.

    What others should know:

the barrels can get loose, but with a little help from plumbers tape on the locking screw it holds it into place really well. (accuracy improved a lot after making this change to keep barrel TIGHT)

great starting airgun to get into better guns. 2 bbls for the price of one. the case helps to not lose parts and barrel.

    Things I would have changed:

better variable adjustable scope. you get what you pay for in a start up gun.

    What others should know:

easy package for the begginer into adult airguns. is a great hunting gun in .22 cal. good fps on the .177. all around great combo for the price.
