The stock is very high quality, in fact, I purchased this not through pyramyd air but through a local gun shop, and when we opened up the box once it arrived, the owner expressed what a beautiful looking rifle it was. I agreed! Its rather heavy for an air rifle, but the weight is stabilizing, and as far as rifles go, it's no heavier than my CZ and definately lighter than the extremely accurite bull-barreled Marlin 2000 I got to use when I was on the National Rifle Team representing MO. So if your used to shooting .22's this will be a dream to practice on. Accuracy is rivaled by some, but not too terribly many, and with some practice, I was able to use the incredible device to shoot at dragon flys in flight in my pond in my backyard. This is a wonderful rifle. I can estimate a good 4000 to 5000 pellets have been thrown through this, and it's still quite accurate, and I believe that it can be dialed back into quarter and dime groups at 30-40 yards (open sights) once I clean the barrel for the first time ever (yeah, it's that good, for that long) and replace the sealing rings in the gun.
Things I would have changed:Really, not too much. In fact, I can't think of anything that needs to be changed, I believe that the occassional leaking issue can be VERY quickly resolved with a quick trip to randall (the town gunsmith) once he gets some of those rings in.
What others should know:Well, my gun one day started leaking air, sometimes rather rapidly. This occured during the winter, I had shot it feverishly before that (a can of 500 pellets in 2-3 days) so I imagine it became very worn out around some of the sealing rings. It hadn't had ANY problems before. Well, the following summer it quit leaking, except when my arm slipped a little to the side while pumping rapidly to intercept a water snake or other small pests that would dissappear before I had the rifle prepared otherwise. I believe the ring was worn and then in the winter the ring also contracted in the cool weather, so, I don't know, but watch for that potential occurance, but maybe it's just because I used mine so much. This air rifle, other than that, is the most proficient airgun I have ever layed hands on!

It's American(I think...lol), Great power, range and accuracy, love the wood feels very sturdy. I FRICKIN LOVE IT!!!!!!
Things I would have changed:make the pumping effort a little easier but no biggie. Make it easier to mount a scope it's a pain to buy an intermount.
What others should know:get your sights adjusted right and this gun is amazingly accurate. Amazing value, I got my brothers old one so I didn't buy it but It performs like a much more expensive gun than it is $140 ? wow thats the best part

Everything exposed to the elements is either hardwood or metal (excluding the trigger guard). Advertised accuracy is spot on .5" groups at 10m.
Things I would have changed:Sharper point at the end of the front sight. Pumping mechanism isn't very friendly to supporting on one's leg while pumping (feels safer than placing pressure on the barrel as instructed).
What others should know:So nice looking, its earned a place on my gun rack.

got this for christmas and its two days later and I havent put it down. It has awesome power - it went through my 1 inch thick wood fence at 20 feet with 6 pumps. have downed 1 crow at about 20 yards. have used crosman premier HP and gamo rocket pellets. does a little better with the crosmans, but has killer accuracy with both. love solid wood stock and forearm, all metal trigger, trigger guard, and front and rear sights. perfect weight, at least for me. 5 pounds
Things I would have changed:for the rear sight you adjust it with a screw. would prefer something different. no biggie, though
What others should know:have heard that with ammo under 5 grains, it can go supersonic. havent seen personally, though

It has a real rifle feel about it. It is heavy, but is a nice weight for offhand shooting. Trigger is crisp, and total delivery very smooth. To date I have 2 of these great rifles. the first was the 20 cal Sheridan that I mounted a Lyman aperture sight on for better performance. I later replaced it with a Feinwerkbau-FWB double glass piston break open action for 1000 fps. I have now replaced that with the 397 Benjie for safer shooting in my backyard i.e. without perforating my privacy fence..
Things I would have changed:I believe the piston assembly to be the same as the Sheridan, and now with my age I find it difficult to pump more than 3 pumps unlike my Daisy rifles that I can easily pump in up to 12. I would opt for a smaller piston and more pumps to make the rifle "perfect"
What others should know:I center shoot this airgun with 3 to 4 pumps, and it seems very uncritical to pellets (except bargain Chinese pellets that sometimes rattle down the bore). In my view air rifles are not engineered to be hunting weapons for more than mice and rats. Squirrel and rabbit I view as "big game" that requires the cool hands of a skilled anatomy shooter.
