    Things I liked:

Accurate for a cheap plinker....quarter sized 10 shot groups @60ft benchrest using red dot sight.

    Things I would have changed:

Obviously, trigger but double action is doable if you think of advancing the rotary clip as 1st stage, then slowly squeeze. Needs higher stock comb to raise line of sight for red dot sight.

    What others should know:

36 shots at about 550fps average(12gr CO2)...then the shots slowly dribble down target as velocity rapidly drops off.
I have 88 gram conversion that allows me to use either CO2 powerlets. Don't know why Pyramyd stopped selling.
This also adds much needed extra weight for steady offhand shooting.
Shots much more consistent with 88gr for rapidly repeating shots as larger bottle mass doesn't cool off as rapidly.
Use red dot effectively on this gun as range doesn't warrant scope.

    Things I liked:

This rifle is very light which is, for me, a plus because it's very easy to hold steady while shooting freestanding. I have several Ruger 10/22's and this rifle is the airgun version of that gun. Having the twelve-shoot clip which operates in a magazine that inserts in the the 1077 makes this gun easy to load and shoot. I bought the three-pack twelve- round clips and three additional magazines so that I have 48 shots before I have to reload the pellets in the clips. That's about the number of shots the 12 gram co2 cartridge will give a shooter. I empty one magazine, pull it out, insert a new one. The is similar to my 10/22's. The rifle is very accurate. I am using the iron sights and was able to zero the rifle in about 20 shots. I am getting quarter size groups from 21 feet.

    Things I would have changed:

Crosman once made an adapter to fit the 1077 that would allow a person to use 88 gram co2 cartridges. I am finding that I get about 40 good shots out of one 12 gram co2 cartridge in this rifle. The last 8 drop on the target, which one can't count on the groups. Having 88 gram cartridges would give more time to shooting and less time changing 12 gram co2's. The trigger is not that good. It has a heavy pull, long travel, a sloppy feel. It takes a while to get use to it. Maybe add fiber optics to the rear sights.

    What others should know:

Because of the weight of this rifle, it is a great gun for a young shooter to fire. There's no breakbarrel to deal with, so operating this gun is very comfortable. I'm 71 and it's nice to shoot because of my arthritic hands. Also, after finding where the trigger fires the rifle, accuracy improves.

    Things I liked:

The most accurate low priced CO2 rifle that I've ever owned. East to load 12 shot magazine wheels. It's light weight and great for youngsters and for adults you can shoot all day without fatigue.

    Things I would have changed:

    Absolutely nothing.

    What others should know:

Try different brand / type pellets as some are better than others. Fire a hundred so rounds to break-in the barrel. I found Crosman pellets to be the best for price and accuracy.

    What others should know:

oil the trigger area frequently, i had mine jam up a little after 200 shots but luckily has the oil on hand...get lots of extras mags and clips. lots. you will want them, and if the mag breaks you will be hating life so just get an extra. i have two, would like to have 5 as you get about 5 ok clips from a CO2.. definite drop off in power, but it will still hit cans etc.

JUNK! Half the time it wouldn`t even push a pellet out of the barrel and if it did, the pellet wouldn`t even penetrate one side of a cardboard box at a distance of 10ft. I looked down the clip cavity and appears that the barrel and the air jet don`t line up properly

    Things I liked:

This Crosman 1077 CO2 pellet rifle is definitely a good value for the money spent. I especially like the fact that this rifle is a 12 shot repeater rather than a single shot like so many air rifles are. Rather than using the notch and blade sights on the barrel, I put a Winchester 4X32 air gun scope on mine. The rifle has what I consider very good accuracy. Shooting from a bench rested position at a range of 33 feet (equal to 10 meters), I was consistently hitting the center of two inch shot spots. Grouping sizes varied depending on the type of pellet, the steadiness of my grip, at how well I sighted down the center axis of the scope. Groupings ranged from 3/4 x 1/2 inch (H&N Sport, H&N Baracuda, RWS R10 Match) up to 1 1/2 x 2 inches (Crosman Super Point).

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger can be a little rough because it also advances the rotary magazine. I think it got smoother the longer I shot the rifle. Crosman should change the trigger and magazine. Simplify the trigger so that it only fires the rifle. To advance the magazine, either a bolt action lever, or a lever action trigger guard would be better mechanisms.

    What others should know:

I tested this gun with these pellets: Crosman Premier Super Match wadcutter, Crosman Premier Super Point, Crosman Premier Ultra Magnum domed, RWS Superdome, RWS Meisterkugeln Pistol, RWS Meisterkugeln Rifle, RWS R10 Match, RWS Hobby, RWS Superpoint Extra, RWS Supermag, H&N Sport, H&N Baracuda, H&N Field Target Trophy, H&N Match Pistol, H&N Spitzkugel, H&N Finale Match Pistol, JSB Match Diabolo wadcutter, and JSB Exact Diabolo domed. All of these pellets fit well in the magazines and were shot well without any jams. Despite the draw-backs in the trigger and magazine, I still give this rifle an overall rating of 5 because it is a very economical, entry level repeater rifle with good accuracy.

Price is cheap for what you get. Tons of fun for little money. Light weight making easy for youngsters to shoot and learn proper shooting and gun handling technique. Made pretty decent.

    Things I would have changed:

    What others should know:

I bought this for my nephew who is puny, can't cock break barrel air guns. So now he can join his big brothers and shoot also. Gun is very accurate also.

    Things I liked:

shoots well, very accurate and no jams thus far. gets a fair amount of shots out of each canister

    Things I would have changed:

probably add a little more weight, it feels a little hollow compared to other guns. and also, dont have the trigger rotate the magazine as you fire.

    What others should know:

because of the way the trigger is tied to the magazine, it rotates it along with firing, so your follow through gets thrown off if you squeeze it slowly.

    Things I liked:

Wow! what a bargin. The description suggested that this is a great starter for beginners. Well, I am a 74 year old and a former sharpshooter for the USCG, so I am hardly a beginner, but this thing does everything it is claimed to do. P.A. did a great job providing customer service and the rifle arrived as they said it would. Straight out of the box it demonstrated its superb accuracy. I have noticed an occassional stray but I have read the tune-up stuff and it looks like securing the barrel is a minor fix.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger is too heavy and not predictable. Crosman needs to focus their attention on improving this feature. Again the tune up articles explain the fix, but Crosman should be implementing these or a redesign. This idea of leaving the development of a product up to the user is absurd. Both the washer to secure the barrel and the trigger redesign need to be included in the next update. For those of us that already have one, a kit with instructions should be made available for a small fee.

    What others should know:

Buy a lot of pellets (Destroyer EX) and alot of CO2 bottles, your going to love this rifle.

Love the accuracy out the box. Pretty easy to set up with a dot sight. Shorter Ghana phantom plus lighter.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger also rotating the magazine as you shoot. Destroys follow through. Also the barrel needs to be stabilized which I did today. And it feels very hollow, put some heft into it, lol.

    What others should know:

Derlin barrel stabilizer is nice to optimize accuracy, easy to install and less than twenty bucks!

    Things I would have changed:

    Found nothing in particular.

    What others should know:

Just about as displayed on Pyramyd Air video--good quality and fun. Can see it being a very good air gun for learning and training and for staying sharp on 10-to-20+ meters.

    Things I liked:

I love it, sights are on the mark, and it is fun to shoot. I can get 3 full magazines at roughly full power with a fourth less so. I am used to break barrel and single action air guns, so this is a pleasure to shoot. This rifle was made in America which is ever so important in this world of Chinese junk being shoveled off on us.

    Things I would have changed:

I first bought one of these at a local retailer for substantially more than pyramid was selling it for. My initial experience, the front sight was canted to the left as other reviewers have stated. I promptly returned it. I decided to take another chance with pyramid, which my above review relates to. Yes the trigger isn't great, but it is usable and most say it breaks in after time. Also there is a lot of plastic, including the scope mount. It isn't a springer so this isn't as much of a concern but handle it gently if you scope it.

    What others should know:

I recommend it, perhaps all are not the greatest as far as the stock sights go. But my second try leaves me very impressed for cost/value. For the cost it isn't much to put out for such a fun air rifle to shoot.

I like the Tru-Glo sight assembly, the Semi-auto feature. and the looks and feel of a 10/22 Ruger and the economical to shoot. it is a back yard conversation piece. Good price point. Good Marksmanship tool.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

I have owned this airgun since April 2008. fun little plinker, now that .22 real ammo is on shortage. The trigger assembly will get smoother with time. just had it resealed recently it is good as new. accurate at 25yds.

    Things I liked:

Repeating action, weight, price and function

    Things I would have changed:

    The trigger and the sights.

    What others should know:

The trigger has a sliding action as opposed to a pivot. The fiber sight dot is too large. The CO2 cartridges were hard to seat the first couple times. I had to use a screw driver to seat. After several refills (across several days), I notice it is easy enough to twist on with my own digits.
I do enjoy the gun. The CO2 allowance for repeating fire is exciting. I'm not a big fan of loading the CO2. I get about 4 clips worth of good to reasonable shots. After that, things start to slow down. The rear sight is adjustable but it is also way old school; you need a screw driver for the windage. I bought for my son to replace a ~1990 Crosman 760. It was his uncle's back in the day. My boy still prefers the 760, though he agrees the semi-auto is fun. Patrick likes to hunt and the 1077 never came out a winner. The 760 did, so he continues on with that rusty plant.
Would I buy again, no. Do I regret buying in the first place, no. Might I gift it to another (with Patrick's permission, yes.
