    Things I liked:

built to look like the old one

    Things I would have changed:

The Daisy pump was the first gun I ever had a child, wow it was powerful. This one the BBs go about 120 ft. and drop to the ground? I would change the power of this gun. perhaps mine is defective, I am just very unhappy with it.

    Things I liked:

Very nice looking, reminds me of the model 25 that I had when I was a kid over 50 years ago. Shoots nice, hard and accurate enough for tin cans and soda bottle fun.

    Things I would have changed:

Lousy quality control. The shot tube sticks when i screw it in, needed to use pliers to unscrew it. Sanded down the very rough threads and oiled it, still sticks if I screw it down tight. Have to be careful to leave it slightly loose, not quite screwed in all the way. Tried to take it down ("for easier storage"), Just for the heck of it. Absolutely could not get it apart. Removed the takedown screw ok, but it was like the two sections were riveted together somewhere. I pulled hard, nothing, Wouldn't budge. I'm a big guy, really pulled. Decided that I didn't want to take it down afterall, afraid I would break something if I forced it any harder.

    What others should know:

I would probably still buy it if I had it to do over again, but am really torqued at the shoddy quality.

    Things I liked:

The Price. For Me it's a good value and beats the Red Ryder model in preformance. The BB Loading is a little more trouble. But it is more reliable for shot to shot preformance without the pop but no BB shot like the red Ryder does. The spring loading of the BB tube keeps the abundent misfires from happining on this model 25.

    Things I would have changed:

A steel trigger in place of the plastic one. The plastic trigger seems to work OK in fairness. But I'M old Fasion and would have been agreeable to pay a little more for a few dress ups. like goldtone paint on the reciever. Like they use to be.

    Things I liked:

Excellent Gun. Though many things improve over time, BB guns have not, with the best guns made in the past. However, this gun is pretty comparable to a 1970s model, maybe somewhat weaker than those old guns, but the most powerful daisy I have seen in a while. Well made, metal sights, good trigger, wood stock / forearm. Easy enough to load, hold around 50 shots - which is really plenty. Most accurate daisy repeater bb gun since the 70s. Ralphie should have got one of these anyways, then maybe this model would by the one still for sale all these years... Chronographed around 320 fps, about 40-50 better than red ryder. Positively no blank shots like with a red ryder, no need to tip barrel between shots.

    Things I would have changed:

The rear sight is too close to your eye to be in good focus, especially for people with glasses. Needs to be moved forward about 2 inches or so - actually thinking of doing that myself. Still plenty accurate as is.

    Things I liked:

I like the wood and steel construction..well done. I also like the sight and my friends who have shot it also liked the solid feel and the sights.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing..well I guess you could always put gold paint in the engraving and use a more figured wood for the stock and forearm. But that is all minor.

    What others should know:

Just enjoy, its a fun gun that brings back memories of the Model 25 I had as a kid. I wish the airgun manufactures would bring back other classics.

    Things I liked:

The wood stock & pump handle really make this BB gun stand out. The scroll work & picture is also a winning touch. Using the peep or V site is also a nice touch. It feels & looks just like the origionals.....Nice!

    Things I would have changed:

My barrel came lose and wobbles a little, the plastic trigger assembly looks NON-classic....I hope they don't become bigger issues down the road. Hey, Pyramid Air how about selling spare model 25 shot tubes? 50 shots go WAY to fast.....

    What others should know:

Keeping with the "origional" look gave me a chance to own Model 25 without buying a "used" "worn" one from an auction site. I'm happy with the bb rifle for what it's selling for & i've shot several hundred BB's already.

    Things I liked:

Nice to see it back in the Daisy product line.

    Things I would have changed:

Improve the quality control. The front site was not completely closed and the rear site is angled off center. Otherwise, the gun was well made.

    What others should know:

With better quality control, this would be a must own.

    Things I liked:

All metal, real wood, and a ton of fun to shoot.

    Things I would have changed:

A little more power would be nice.

    What others should know:

It has the same amount of power as my Daisy 880 with one pump. So if you want to thin out the Starling population this isn't your gun. If you want to have a blast flinging soda cans then this one can't be beat.

    Things I liked:

The Daisy No. 25 is an accurate reproduction with applied improvments to the magazine. Fit and finish are good, the product performs well though there is a perception of being underpowered from the original while shooting the 25. When the Model 25 was in production by Daisy, it was noted for being the most powerful and hard hitting air rifle in the Daisy product line. It would be nice to see that feature once again be reinstated.

    Things I would have changed:

    More power by increasing velocity.

    What others should know:

    A quality reproduction overall.

    Things I liked:

The overall cosmetic appearance is great out of the box. Brought a BIG smile from my 9 yr old daughter which changed to TEARS when she thought she had broke it after about 10 shots and it wouldn't cock or shoot. Back to Daisy this one goes.

    Things I would have changed:

Better Quality control from the factory in China.

    What others should know:

Since its made in China, make the trigger group from metal like the originals were.

    Things I liked:

This is a beautiful looking Daisy Model 25. I had always wanted one since about 1936 or so. I had a pal that had one and I thought it was just great. This has a wood stock and forearm, embossed hunting scene on the receiver, baked or powder coating appearing black finish on the metal. I highly recommend this product once they improve qaulity control.. I returned my Model 25 because I could not remove the loading tube , it was stuck. You might want to consider the Pyramyd Air $10.00 fee to have it checked out.

    Things I would have changed:

Awesome appearing for the money. A true value, if it works.

    What others should know:

Unable to shoot. Maybe I coukld have dropped a BB down the barrel to check the accuracy. The sights are very , very interesting. You have a "Peep" or a flip up "V" sight sight and a nicde tall front sight.Verall, it your Model 25 works, you are goimg to be very happy considering it svery low price point., IMO

    Things I liked:

The vintage look and coolness of the pump action. The fps seems quick, but more importantly the sound and accuracy is pretty good.

    Things I would have changed:

More hefty front and rear sights with an upgraded peep sight or non at all.

    What others should know:

So far so good. I hope the mechanism and finish will last a long time.

    Things I liked:

I had been wanting to get a couple of the BB guns that first got me interested in shooting way back as a kid. Of course, Daisy was the BB gun that virtually all kids wanted including me. My first was a model 95 Woodstock rifle and it was sweet! My best friend had a model 25 pumper and we spent a lot of time being kids with BB guns if you know what I mean. I recently decided that I wanted to get a model 25 since I had never owned one, and started searching the auction sites. Lo and behold Daisy re-issued their model 25! The overall quality is good. Nicely finished in deep blue with actual wood for the stock and pump grip, and 95% metal construction. Mine is well built.

    Things I would have changed:

Made in China. Bummer, but if it wasnt it would cost 3 times as much although anyone interested in a BB gun like this would happily pay the difference. Plastic....but minimal plastic. The trigger group, safety and BB tube tip are plastic. The rear dove tail / peep sight was too tight to easily flip. Loosening the phillips head screw a bit solved that minor issue.

    What others should know:

It shoots as well as an old design BB gun should. The cool thing is that you find yourself pumping and shooting like mad. The 50 shot tube runs out too soon, but if you use a large drinking straw (taped closed at one end) to scoop up your BB's and tilting it at the loading port, it makes loading fast and easy with a minimum of lost BB's. Get one for fun. Get one for nostalgia. Get one because Daisy might not make these again. Most of all, get one for that 8 year old to learn about shooting.

    Things I liked:

Nice fit and finish,Has cross block saftey,Barrel end differs from the older 25,flip up peep is nice touch!

    Things I would have changed:

My new 25 has off and on troubls with trigger pull, some times fires and some times does't[break in perhaps]

    What others should know:

Does'nt have the power of my older 25[I guess] It is a looker and now have 2! You can't go wrong at these prices no mater where it's made!
