Things I liked:

Outstanding barrel; it's not a lottery like it can be with other PCPs in this price range. Magazine design; clicks in magnetically with no friction or fuss. Pellets are held fast, they don't fall out, even the one that's ready to be chambered. (this is an issue with Air Arms and Brocock/Daystate mags) The action is super-smooth. I can't feel the slightest friction in the chambering of a pellet. It's easily best-in-class, and better than a lot of others that are considered a higher class. (ex. Air Arms, Brocock/Daystate) Accuracy is outstanding; right there with Lothar-Walther on my Compatto and S510, maybe even a bit better.

Things I would have changed:

Barrel band; mine shoots more consistently without it. The pistol grip isn't as comfortable as it could be. It's a bit thick in the wrist, and has the user having to decide whether to cant his wrist forward to fit the stock, or just leave some air between his lower fingers and the front of the grip. Magazines are expensive, for how simple they are and for the materials they're made from: stamped steel and plastic. These are nitpicks though; they wouldn't stop me from buying one again.

What others should know:

The smoothness of the action is on par with that of my Compatto, which costs double. The magazines are as good and cost half as much also. The funky-looking moderator works well. This gun is the top value in a $500 PCP. Better than Marauder for only a little more dough. Inside, it's a BSA. The places they cut cost don't affect function at all. (plastic trigger, basic stock wood and )finish

Things I liked:

With right pellets it is extremely accurate, killed a squirrel at 60yrds with 1st attempt! You MUST use high quality pellets, cheap ones like you get at Walmart are garbage, about a 4" group at only 25 yrds, but with the FX pellets can get 1/2" groups at 50 yrds.

Things I would have changed:

Quality of product leaves a great deal to be desired!! 1st, it came with a very noticeable ding and blemish on on the stock at the bolt knuckle, 2nd, the receiver looks like very cheap pot mettle with visible pitting, 3rd there are areas on the air tube that are purplish in color instead of all blued, 4th the silencer is not plumb which makes it look weird, 5th the silencer is real cheap and tacky looking plastic with a purple inner plastic piece that looks like something you would find on a toy gun, NOT a $500 rifle!! Compare this to the stunning Ruger 10/22 Mannlicher rifle I purchased at the same price point and the quality difference is staggering!!!

What others should know:

I wish I couple upload photos with this review, consumers deserve to SEE what they are getting! I have very limited experience in airgun world, but know that I didn't care for any of the CHEAP ones I saw at stores like Bass Pro and Cabelas, so was hoping for much better quality, especially at the $500 price point, particularly given that I have purchased so many firearms in my life at that price point with superior quality. This looks to me more like a $250 gun. Sadly, none of the reviews i saw online mentioned any of these issues, I might have gone with a different gun if they had. I may have to post a youtube review so people can SEE what they are getting!! Lastly, be aware that to maximize quiet shooting you will need to order the heavy pellets to reduce speed below the sound barrier.

    Things I liked:

It is very accurate and has a nice trigger

    Things I would have changed:

I have owned the gun for 5yrs and the magazines are junk and too expensive. I have went through 5 of them at 50 dollars a piece. The rubber on them wears out and breaks .I have put thousands of rounds through this gun and the bolt action has never gotten easier. Next the free floating barrel is bullshit it gets knocked off center so easy . I put a pipe clamp on it and now it stays in place.

    What others should know:

It is still a good gun . And is still very accurate. It only refills with a hand pump or scuba tank . If you try to fill it with a compressor directly it must leaks out. Using a hand pump gets miserable real fast

    Things I liked:

Quality construction. Overall fit and finish is very good. Nice looking stock. Reliable magazines. Trigger is smooth once the urban trigger mod is done. Smooth action. Nice overall feel but gets heavy quick. Mine has been very dependable and appears to be pretty rugged. 30 yard accuracy is very good, Anything over that and you have to pay attention to pellet selection.

    Things I would have changed:

Moderator works fairly well but could have been much better. Quite heavy would be nice to have less weight. Accuracy is good but my results show poor accuracy in temperatures near freezing.

    What others should know:

This is a very nice gun for the money. Dont fill to max PSI. My best shot groups with 22 caliber come from pressures between 2400 and 1700 psi. I get about 20 shots in that range. Not to pellet fussy but does like JSB 18.13 better than anything else Ive tried, and getting about 820 ft./s with those. it has been getting better the more I shoot it. Ive owned it for over a year now. Planning on Installing a regulator soon.Dont over tighten the barrel band clamp screw or youll get a point of impact shifts.

    Things I liked:

power, quietness, very stupid accuracy with almost zero recoil. beautifully stained beechwood... scope is very nice.

    Things I would have changed:

front guage on rifle needs to be perpendicular to the barrel. bottom picatinny rail for bipod would be sweet and maybe some different stain shades on wood. and most important, to have an affordable pump ( hand or auto)

    What others should know:

this gun is beautiful in all aspects. yes, some modifications, but it doesnt take away the design nor its obvious competitive edge on power and accuracy.

Everything! This is my second pcp first being the hatsan flash. The Gamo Coyote is my favorite pcp with the BSA barrel and Manuel safety , shoulders perfect for stand up shots , FPS and ofcourse accurracy. Also the magazines cycle smooth !! The silencer system from Gamo is very quiet. This is a rifle that could hit target at 100 yards with the right pellet . Very happy with the Gamo Coyote thank you pyramid air for the 5 star customer service!!

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing ! It would be nice if it came with 2 mags !!

    What others should know:

The Gamo Coyote is the best pcp for its price its at the level of $1500 pcps !!

Everything the wood stock the bluing on the receiver the ACCURACY IS OUTSTANDING i purchase this rifle for the JSB 13.43 pellet to see if it would work and it DID LOVE IT. THE shot string 798 . 800. 807. 807. 808. 809. 805. 804. 804. 798. with a SD of 3 and 19.23 FOOT LB, at 35 yards 10 shots in .375 . and it is getting better.

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing great buy

    Things I liked:

Highly underrated rifle from Gamo/BSA. It is basically a BSA Buccaneer or maybe the other way around. It shoots quite well and is stone reliable. A bit stiff at first in cocking, but once loosened up it is a joy to shoot. In the field a bit heavy to tote around. I used a UTG 3X9 40MM scope and it is a perfect fit sighted in at 50 yards. Shots out to 75yard are easy. JSB 13 grain .22 cal. pellets stack one on another. Magazines load with ease.

    Things I would have changed:

    Weight.

    What others should know:

Shoots like a far more expensive rifle.

    Things I liked:

This is a very attractive and solid rifle. All parts seem well made and fished nicely. My 1st 177 Coyote had a problem with the magazine jamming; very difficult to unjam! I sent it to GAMO for warranty service and they replaced my rifle with a refurbished rifle. The jamming issue was solved though. The bolt can cycle the magazine without actually cocking the rifle leading to double feeds. Once you get used to the action (200-300 shots?) you get familiar and the double feeding stops. Must pull back and ensure a solid "click" upon cocking. I've owned a Maximus, Discovery, Marauder, Urban and this Coyote. The Coyote is the most accurate. If tuned for the right speed, with the right pellet my rifle can shoot .6" groups at 25 yds and 1.5" groups at 55 yds although not every time. I'm still working with it. The listed 6.6 lb weight is wrong. It is 7.85 lbs on the GAMO website which is correct. It is a heavy rifle

    What others should know:

Buy it from Pyramyd Air and test it thoroughly when you receive it. If you have any issues, they will make it right. I bought from another vendor, a mistake.

    Things I liked:

Extremely smooth and accurate rifle. Dime sized target groups at 35 yards with JSB Match 13.43 Gr pellets. A bit surprise how much effort it takes to refill with a hand pump, but well worth having continuous shooting ability. Slight learning curve switching the bolt around to the left side and then getting used to the backwards cocking action, but works good. Has a nice short barrel and is impressively quiet which is nice for shooting in the back yard. Very pleased with the quality and performance.

    Things I would have changed:

Another clip would be nice for the amount of money your spending, but otherwise a great overall gun.

    What others should know:

Always make sure to release the bleeder valve on the hand pump before removing it from the rifle. Might sound obvious, but I ruined an o ring my first time by just pulling out the connector.

    Things I liked:

This is my first PCP and I am totally impressed! Mine is a .22 caliber. This rifle is accurate, looks great, feels great, quiet. It is a real tack driver up to 50 yards. At 75 yards very little correction is needed. JSB 15.89 grain and 18.13 grain are very accurate in it. This thing is dead on right out of the box.

    Things I would have changed:

Make the magazines cheaper! There's no way a plastic magazine can cost fifty bucks to make! I can buy 10 shot Marauder magazines for my BNM converted Disco for fifteen bucks.

    What others should know:

You will not be disappointed if you get one of these! It is an awesome rifle.

Awesome rifle. Wasn't sure what to expect as I'm new to the pcp world, but I couldn't be more pleased. I upgraded from a breakdown Gamo rifle with the hope that I'd get more power and accuracy, and I got both! Once you get a feel for this rifle and sight it in, you can't miss. No BS!! The right pellets are obviously helpful, and I found that the crosman hollow point 7.9 grams from Walmart are deadly accurate. The rifle spits out a lot of lubrication when new, but that is a good thing! After a little sighting in, this rifle challenges my brothers $1500 gun. I outshoot him more often than not! Buy it, you won't regret it!!!

    Things I would have changed:

Of course it would be nice if it was cheaper, but you get what you pay for, and this rifle is a steal at this price

This is my second review of my .22 Coyote and I'll have to say that this thing is amazing. Forget what I said earlier about the trigger. After about 200 shots, it has either smoothed up or I've just gotten used to it ...but the bottom line is that I love it! It is a long second stage - but with a very consistent let-off.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing at all ...except for maybe the relatively high cost of replacement magazines (forgot to mention that in my first review).

    What others should know:

Buy it ...try it! JSB 14.35 Jumbo Express seem to be the pellet of choice for my rifle, With a 3000 psi fill, I can get 25 incredibly consistent (940 average fps) shots - almost as if the action is regulated, Great Job Gamo/BSA!

    Things I liked:

Today only 50 shots through my .22 that I received yesterday (9/09/16), but I'm really impressed with the barrel on my gun ...especially the way it digested the Wal-Mart Crosman 14.3 Premier HP Hunting Pellets (the JSB Jumbo Express 14.35, of course, shot very well) - with groups ranging from a quarter to a penny at 30 yards. For me that is great ...as I'm just an average bloke on the trigger. I will be chronographing for that 'best fill sweet spot' later and will be trying different, heavier pellets at 40 to 60 yard distances. The stock on my rifle is very nice, well above the norm at this price point, and the stock's chunkiness belies the balance that this rifle has when shooting off-hand. Compared to my Walther Maximathor, this is a very light, easy-to-shoot, and quiet air gun.

    Things I would have changed:

Wish the trigger was just a little crisper at let-off, but it is not a bad trigger at all ...I don't have a trigger scale, but it is pretty light. It's the let-off that matters most to me and this one has some creep to it before the hammer falls. It may get better with time, and then again it may not! Either way, the trigger is good and the gun is plenty accurate for its intended purpose.

    What others should know:

I have a feeling that the barrels on these guns are very good ...BSA hammer forged I have read (and BSA & Walther are known for barrel quality). The actions are a little tight at first but mine is smoothing up nicely. I would recommend a careful barrel cleaning before shooting - mine was pretty gunky with something - maybe rust preventative grease? ...I'm not sure. In my opinion, I think most low budget target shooters, like me, will be very pleased with this little Spanish Coyote.

First, I must say that I am NOT an Air Gunner. I am a F class Mid/Long range competitor, looking for a way to reduce cost of Practice. Real long story very short. This piece has far surpassed any and all tests that I put it through. Chronograph tests, proved repeatable velocities, through a range of pellet shapes and weights, ranging from 13-24 gr. pellets, with speeds 984 FPS- 855 FPS with Standard Deviations ranging 4 to 1.2 feet per second, depending on the pellet. I Was absolutely flabbergasted with the group sizes from 10-50 yards. .229-1.25 size 5 shot groups. Again over a range of pellets. Last and far from least, shots per fill from 3032 psi air cylinder, 50 rounds delivered before the accuracy fell off. Now I will be able to practice in the wind develop drop tables, do the MOA math in my head, at a significant cost savings. I like this rifle as much as my Metallic 5.56.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:
