    Things I liked:

All of it. Bought a fussion, loved it, still love it. Love this even more. Loads fast. such good power. Fires as fast as i can cock the barrel. Used 21gr and kept all in the 10 ring. Switched to 14gr and fired shot on top of shot. This gun is #1. fussion #2 and my trail NP #2.5. ALL great break barrels.

    Things I would have changed:

Not a darn thing. Put around 400 to 500 rounds through it. Not one problem. Wonderful gun.

    What others should know:

Order a couple (4 or 5) extra 10 shot loaders. You will be so glad you did. Did i say i loved this gun?

    Things I liked:

The loading mechanism works perfectly. Typical Gamo, light weight, basic scope. CAT trigger is better than expected. Rifle shoulders well. Accurate out of the box with "break in" pellet. Gas piston which allows rifle to remain cocked. Manual safety.

    Things I would have changed:

An AO scope would be nice.

    What others should know:

Don't let the Gamo name and the rifles appearance keep you from giving it a try. I prefer wood and steel, but I also enjoy shooting an air rifle that performs well.

    Things I liked:

the new self loading seems to work pretty well . used doomed pellets any with a rim don't load as easy. suggest a pellet seater using the ball end for loading. The scope ?? mine was not so clear ,couldn't get a good focus with it.. after a doz ahots or so the locking pin had backed out and the scope walked. Better reduce the price and do away with the scope. As to accuracy ,this is where i wasn't impressed. i have aperture sighted original R 1 in 22 cal that will shoot rings around this thing scoped. And the scope I put one is worth more than the rifle it's a old Blue ribbon Beeman. Som far if the self loader keep working they have a good idea, but i'm disappointed in it as far ahunting accuracy ,I've run no less than 6-8 different pellets thru it in m y testing

    Things I would have changed:

Needs a better bbl. to address the accuracy .If i could get a one grp @ 30 yds i would be happy . my 22 cal R1 can do 3/4" with out a scopei

    What others should know:

the new trigger is an improvement

    Things I liked:

The multiple shot magazine is very nice. There is no need to load one pellet at a time. The gun is extremely accurate at the 20 year range that I sighted it in on. 3/8" group of 3 shots. Scope mounting was easy but shot about 5" low on the first couple shots. Left and right was perfect. I took a huge number of clicks to finally get shots in the X ring. I used 16 grain H&N pointed pellets in 22 caliber.

    Things I would have changed:

I haven't experienced it yet but reading how to clear a jam seems complicated. I hope I don't have to clear too many jams.

    What others should know:

It is a little louder than my .177 Gamo Whisper but should be ok for back yard suburban pest control.

    Things I liked:

The whole package. Ten round mag, auto feed, accuracy, balance, scope. POWER! Price. Scope comes on the scope mount all that was needed was to attach the whole unit to the rifle rail so very nice.

    Things I would have changed:

Scope was a little rough in turning the wind age turret. I had to push in firmly to make the P.O.I move, but after that no problem. So better quality turret. But the scope is clear and picks up light very well.

    What others should know:

Wow! This rifle does all it says it will do and more. I am able to hit a four inch target at 62 yards. The pellets that work well are the Crosman Ultra Mag 14.3 gr and Gamo Rocket 14.3 gr. This rifle isn't so sensitive to hold, I use artillery hold but I am able to shoot the next round with out even thinking about being so exact on the hold. At 25 yrds I hit the primer of a 12 gauge shot gun shell. All this shooting was using a Tripod. I got the 10 for 10. Don't forget to use Blue Loctite on the scope screws. I backed them off one at a time and applied the Loctite so as not to move the factory barrel to scope alignment.

    Things I liked:

Well constructed. Magazine works great! No jams Likes to shoot RWS superdomes or Crosman Premier Much lighter than previous models

    Things I would have changed:

Better scope or lower price An extra magazine would have been nice

    What others should know:

Good airgun. Lots of fun. Shoot about 300 to 500 pellets to get it broken in. Keep in mind this is NOT a tack driver out of the box, and springers (or gasers) are not very good past 50 yards. So make sure to give it plenty of break in shooting.

Can follow up shots quickly. It's a multi shot air rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

Have more than one magizine. Have three magizines that come with the air rifle. Offer a pistol version. Build sling mounts with the air rifle. And include a sling.

    What others should know:

Buy extra magizines cause this is a great improvement over previous break barrel air guns.

    Things I liked:

Lightweight. Very accurate, throughout range of various .22 pellets. Very quiet. Quieter than my Ruger Yukon...

    Things I would have changed:

    1. The Gamo scope came with rings attached a bit too tightly, and in the wrong position on the tube. I had to slide the scope back all the way to get the required eye-relief, and to be able to slip the lens cap off & on over the front lens without interference from the cartridge holder. In doing so I noticed that the tight rings had worn off a bit of the bluing from the tube, which was easy enough to remedy with a Sharpie. 2. The "pointy" textured synth stock is a bit hard on the web of my right hand after a while. If this was Gamo's attempt at inexpensive checkering, they were mistaken. 3. Cocking the Gamo does NOT automatically engage the safety, so get in the habit of putting the rifle on safe after each shot. This is unfortunate, as implementing this automatic feature would have been pretty easy, IMO. 4. I have to keep track mentally as to whether I've actually fired the rifle before cocking it again, or risk accidentally double loading it. The manual warns about this.

    What others should know:

Frankly, I've never cared much for Gamos, nor for rifles made without fixed sights, nor for synth stocks, but loading pellets one-by-one has always struck me as a tedious, slow-going process. I sighted in the Gamos scope and tried out the 10-shot cartridge a bit skeptically. I was ready & willing to ship the "Swarm" back if I didnt like it. Adjustable trigger does need some tweaking out-of-the-box. Actually? The pellet cartridge works very well (so far), and the rifle is easy to cock & very quiet. (It is noisiest when dry-firing to confirm breech is empty after I finish shooting.) After properly adjusting the scopes elevation & windage, I was able to reliably hit & in fact pick apart the bullseye on the target 10m away. I'll probably order an extra 10-shooter cartridge or two, although I think their $15ea price point is a bit high.

    Things I liked:

I bought this Swarm Maxxim. 22 cal four days ago from PyramidAir.coming. That's an Awesome Gun. Very lightweight, accuracy, quiet enough for shooting in my backyard. I still use the Gamo's scope coming to the gun, it's good enough for me right now. The better scope is longer a little bit and hit the mag (4-16x40 CP Scope). The 10x mag ... I meant we should have more mags. I shoot, cooked and shoot and cooked and shoot... very awesome, and it goes away very fast and I have to reload pellets again. My backyard is so small about 15 yards, but a lot of fun. I had have 5 air rifles before I bought this Swarm Maxxim. 22 cal. My first air rifle I bought 10 years ago Big Cat .177, then Gamo Whisper Silent Cat .177, Gamo Whisper Fusion Mach 1 .22 cal, Gamo Wasp Maxxim .177, Gamo Urban. 22 PCP, and now this Swarm Maxxim. 22. All of them: are Great Guns. GAMO is my favorite Brand. Thank you PYRAMIDAIR , Thank you GAMO. And I still waiting for a Gamo Coyote. 22 PCP coming, but don't know WHEN :)

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

Don't use the scope that is longer, it will be hit the top of the mag. Just right now. Have fun and shoot safe every body :)

    Things I liked:

The gun is very light and easy to carry. The scope seems more than adequate. The automatic loading of a pellet with each break of the barrel is fantastic. Mine is the 177 CAL and is very accurate even with the cheapest pellets. I am currently using Winchester hollow points and they worked well. It's nice not to have to carry around a pellet bag .

    Things I would have changed:

There is nothing about this gun I would change. I just wish I could purchase more magazines. It seems like no one has them at this time

    Things I liked:

Lightweight and easy to handle, no traditional Gamo twang or buzz -- just a solid thunk (good job Gamo!!!), auto-loading mechanisms and clip work flawlessly. Very easy to cock for most people. Accuracy is good so far just using Crosman Heavy Domes (I have the .177). Trigger is very good for a spring rifle of this price, and the hold is comfortable. A fun rifle to shoot regardless of anything else. Despite it being lightweight, it handles much better than previous Gamo power models the the SOCOM and Bull Whisper Extreme which were similar in size and weight. This rifle feels toylike at first but it does appear to be strong and the plastic durable. Fairly quiet with the right ammo and backyard friendly.

    Things I would have changed:

SCOPING!!! Most people will want to upgrade from the combo scope package and this presents a problem and subsequently many limitations for the average user due to the plastic shroud that holds the clip. I did not use the stock scope so I can't comment on it. High mounts are a must regardless and unless using BKL a 1-pc mount or 2-pc rings the mount or rings used MUST have a stop pin on this rifle. Short of "fancy fixtures" or offset mounts, you scope length cannot exceed 12-3/4" or it will interfere with cocking. This certainly (and sadly) limits the number of scopes out there that can be used for this rifle, especially scopes with AO capabilities. Why not just put on a picatinny base to begin with instead of doves tails (though conversion adapters can be used to create that effect, perhaps adding some scope height as well)?

    What others should know:

I own more than 80 air rifles of all powerplants, and this rifle has some great value for the money. Obviously open sights are not an option, so the scope limitation seems to be the real thing that potential buyers should be aware of. If all your shooting will be within under 40yds you might be good but realistically shooting beyond that with anything but younger eagle eyes with the scope limitations may be an issue of consideration.

    Things I liked:

I just received my Swarm .22 today. I did much research on this new "game changer" rifle before ordering. I have only shot it about 30 times but find the ability to fire quickly without reloading every time to be a giant plus. The scope seems to be of good quality and I will be adjusting it over the next few days. For $200.00 you can buy this name brand .22 air rifle. It is not affected by cold weather. PLUS you no longer have to reload every time. And since it is a break barrel, you do not have to pump or load a CO2 or anything. Just break and fire. It seems to be the best of all worlds. It truly is a "game changer" in the world of air rifles. I am very happy with both the rifle and Pyramid Air. I cannot yet comment on the accuracy, as I have yet to fully adjust the scope. So far so good!!!!

    Nothing

    Things I liked:

Not having to load each individual pellet! Looks and feels great and definitely not as heavy as my Hatsan 95. Have always heard not so good things about Gamo, but the review done my Rick Eutsler kinda sold me on the idea of giving it a shot... I'm glad I did. Granted I've only had it a short time, I'm impressed with the accuracy once I found a few pellets it liked. Shooting the JSB Diablo Straton 15.9 and getting tight groups at 20yds. Also, the lizard I happened to pick off at 20yds walking across my target board was another testament to its accuracy. Looking forward to seeing how well the gun performs as I get more acquainted with it.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe a shroud that dampened the sound a bit more, but it's not bad otherwise.

    What others should know:

The optics sent with it are actually decent.

    Things I liked:

I purchased the .22 cal. Solid stock, trigger is smooth and the cocking is extremely smooth! The 10 round pellet cartridge is easy to load and snaps in place flawlessly and is easy to eject for reloading and I have not had any jams or issues with this system with just around 300 pellets fired. The rifle is not quite broken in yet and I'm getting nickel size groupings at 20 yards and that is shooting all ten pellets. I like the balance of the gun and feels comfortable. Very light weight at 6 pounds 12 ounces with Center Point Scope mounted. I like that you can make quick follow up shots if needed and you can safely keep a loaded cartridge in the rifle with out cocking it. Rest between clips my arm was getting tired after about 100 rounds mostly because of how fast you can shoot, cock, shoot....

    Things I would have changed:

My first impression was it looked like a toy! Partly this is do to the large Gamo trademark on the stock. It is also very plain looking and could use a little color or at least camouflage.

    What others should know:

Don't bother with the scope! It does come with a nice one piece mount and I used that to mount a center point scope I picked up from Walmart for around $55.00. I use the same scope on all my guns and hold up very well. Locktight the scope mount and rings! Clean the barrel after the first 100 pellets with a dry patch only, it took about 5 patches. The first day did not go well for accuracy and slowly improved as I figured the correct hold and the rifle calmed down (excellent improvement after 250 rounds). The artillery hold did not work for me and I found if you keep the stock tight to the shoulder and a medium to firm forearm grip worked very well. Most accurate pellet so far is H&N field target trophy 14.66 GR. Chrony test averages 735 FPS with this pellet.

    Things I liked:

Being able to shoot quickly is definitely a good thing.

    Things I would have changed:

Improve precision. I suspect during autoload, pellets are deformed. I tried to shoot JSB exact 0.22 Jumbo Express Diabolo 14.35gr most of the time. I could not hit the same hole from the distance of 3 yards! Spread was around 2.5 inches. I tried to load pellets manually, it definitely helped, I could consistently hit 10 pellets into 1.5 inch spread. Gamo Rocket shoot the best from 3!!!!! yards. Spread was around 1 inch. Due to their construction (copper ball in the front) they are hard to brake shape by autoreload, didn't notice any difference with manual and auto reload. 1 inch spread is consistent. I also shot: - H&N barracuda hunter. Spread is 2.5 inches consistently. - H&N Field trophy Power copper plated. Spread is over 4 inches... these really suck. - PBA Platinum. Spread is 2 inches. For each pellet type I shot 10 pellets 3 times, all results were consistently repeatable.

    What others should know:

P1377 shoots better! So much better that I was hitting same hole 10 times in the row from 3 yards. GAMO - your Swarm rifle sucks. Really, its horrible.

    Things I liked:

Wow, what a fun rifle to shoot. The 10-shot system makes plinking a breeze instead of a chore. It's more quiet than I was expecting given PA's 3-rating. The trigger is smooth. I expect that I will be the limiting factor in how accurate it is. I didn't previously think about how much of a pain loading each pellet by hand was. Loading 10 at once and then just having to break the barrel for each shot makes for much faster shooting. And breaking the barrel was easy. My 13yo daughter handled the task just fine. The Swarm handles well, it's lighter than I expected, no recoil compared to my other air rifles. Fantastic shooter.

    Things I would have changed:

An audible click or something when the last pellet was loaded would be nice. Same with a way to attach a sling. As always, a bit more power would be nice, but 17 FPE with .22 won't have me complaining.

    What others should know:

I was expecting the multi-shot break-barrel to be a bit of a gimmick, but it really does change everything. The next couple years will be interesting as others scramble to implement something similar.
