    Things I liked:

Awesome power! Power adjustment allows this rifle to be effective on both small and medium game. Great stock and barrel quality.

    Things I would have changed:

Too noisy… forget about quick/ unscheduled backyard hunting. Old open sight system was better but a nice scope does the job.

    What others should know:

Feel free to try different power adjustments according to your pellets and games. You will be surprised about the versatility this rifle offers.

    Things I liked:

Very accurate!I got the 25cal,and at 50 yards my groups are in the size of a quarter! Some shots hit the same holes! My gun is zeroed in at 50yrds,and at 100yrd shots it only drops 1 1/4 inch! Not bad for a pellet gun!Very nice looking gun,so nice I don't want to get it dirty.Very powerful, goes through a 55 gallon drum on full power at 75yrds.This is my first pcp airgun and not the last. Very impressed...thanks Pyramid Air.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing at all except, needs more information in handbook that comes with rifle on how to setup gun to what ever air source you use.If it wasn't for Pyramid's live chat, I wouldn't have got everything I needed or the know how to set up everything.

    What others should know:

Click on Live Chat! And a guy named Rich helped me.He will tell you EVERYTHING you need to know and what you will need!I am saving up for the 357 recluse next! And spend the money on a shoebox compresser for your pcp airguns,it's all you need.

    Things I liked:

This gun looks good , the blueing is top notch, nice german barrel pretty accurate in. 25.

    Things I would have changed:

Heavy gun should lighten it some. Make an adjustable butt pad. Use locktite on screws. Had a screw loosen in the lever action called pyramyd air techs walked me right thru the repairs so i wouldnt have to send it in.. A+++ for Pyramyd air!!!!

    What others should know:

In .25 this gun has serious power out of the box. My friend has the condor and for the money and hassel this is by far a better deal. No messing with the tophat like on the condor just point and shoot and have 5 more follow up shots. This gun is purely a hunter but is also accurate out to 90 or more yards.. i have quite a few airguns and this is the best bang for the buck. Had this gun for a few months now and still love it..

    Things I liked:

    Things I would have changed:

Me gustaria que cambiaran el adaptador para cargarlo por el rapido que no daria problemas de desgaste de los orrines, pero sabiendolo cargar no tiene que darte problemas.

    What others should know:

Lo que si he notado es que hay que estar haciendo ajustes a la mira ya que se desajusta muy frecuentemente dependiendo de los diabolos que estes usando y de acuerdo a la potencia que uses hay que variar la mira. Cuando esta calibrado es muy preciso hace grupos 1/2 a 20 mts. con diabolos ts22 gamo 21 gr

big power for hunting. very nice workmanship.

    Things I would have changed:

    What others should know:

this rifle in low power has more pwer than any magnum springer on the market. mine is .22 and it hits like sledge hammer on low using 14.3

    Things I liked:

Nice appearance and it appears that it will really pack a puuch. I cocked the rifle and it had a very loud and healthy blast even though the meter displayed very little air pressure.

    Things I would have changed:

The Rear Sight is terrible and is quite a cheap sight. can't see nothing through the peep sight and it can't be aligned with the front sight. The front sight is alos terrible in that it won't adjust. The base mount is actually in the way of the peep sight. The Manual certainly needs to be more detailed and a explanation is needed to cover the application of the included parts. I assume they are utilized with a skuba tank.

    What others should know:

I like the gun and I'm looking forward to mounting a scope that will certainly resolve the issue of such poor iron sights. The base on the rifle is not long enough and I'm confused as to how I will actually mount a scope.

    Things I liked:

POWER! Shoot thru a 2X4 at 10 yards!I can shoot I variety of different pellets with it due to the adjustable power. Metal parts and nice wood.

    Things I would have changed:

Make airguns more affordable. I dont like the lever popping open when you shoot make it lock in place. Make some heavier pellets for it it 43gr are not heavey enough for good accuracy on high power in my opinion. put a foster fitting on it with a nice dust cap.

    What others should know:

My .25 gets good 50yard groups with barracuda's on low power which chrony in the 980's 43gr unjins at medium power. Getting 1/2" groups at 45yards.

    Things I liked:

i got the sumatra after returning the marauder . the sumatra is not pellet fussy like many guns , but it does really like the heavier pellets , i use a varity and all shoot almost equally as well , though the gun i have seems to do very well with 31.02 gr baracudas. the heaviest ive tried are the eun jin 35's i want to try the 43's next and maybe even something heavier. when they say devastating power ,thats exactly what it means. i was hitting a steal target leaned up against a sheet of plywood at 25 yds, when it hit the target the pellet literally disintegrated and it looked as if gray paint was slung on the plywood. this gun has power and thats what i like about it , i have the utmost confidence in small game hunting with this gun. the staff at pyramyd air are the best , all i have spoken with have been very friendly and helpful , they have never just tried to sell me something . i have only sent one gun back with them and it was taken care of quickly with no hassle ,the gun had no defect it was just not the one for me . what can i say the customer service at pyramyd air is superb , i recomend them to anyone , you cant go wrong with them.

    Things I would have changed:

the only thing i would change are the cheesy sights , but i use a scope so it just dos'nt matter.

    What others should know:

find what pellets suit you and buy plenty and a couple extra mags because you will want to shoot this gun all the time. and buy a scuba tank for filling if you plan on shooting like i do , the hand pump will wear you out , i know.

well for one the look and feel. this gun is very well made and after pyramyd sending me an ar6 by mistake I am really happy with my choice of the sumatra! Im shooting 32.4 gr. pellets out to 80+ yrds and nocking ground squirls down cold! would recomend to anyone looking for a hunting air rife .

    Things I would have changed:

? seems to be done right so far? Ok ya maybe if it filled itself that would be a bonus! cheeck piece sits high and making it a scope only rifle for me . Price was high I thought but glad to have it!

    What others should know:

this gun is as loud as my .22 long rife on a full charge and set on high just so ya know.

    Things I liked:

I like the fit and finish, as it feels markedly better than a lot of other high-power airguns I have owned. I like the adjustable power, allowing all day plinking at lower volumes or really long-range tin canning on higher power settings. The trigger is nice and the 6-shot magazine loads easily and functions flawlessly. This gun is a tank buster, but can be tailored to short-range target fun by turning the power adjustment wheel. I had a local machinist fabricate a thread adapter for mine and I use a lawfully owned (ATF Form 4) 9mm suppressor on mine, which is 1/2x28mm thread pitch. I keep the velocity below the speed of sound, to eliminate the sonic boom (crack). The thing sounds like a low-powered spring gun and is tremendous fun. You hear the valve being struck more than anything else. I wish this particular model came in 9mm, as I like the fit, finish, feel, and performance of it... Eun Jin makes a nice gun. Please remember that a suppressor that can be mounted on a firearm is a controlled item, pay your $200 and be legal or risk being a federally charged felon. LDC's do not exist, they are suppressors/silencers... Be responsible and respectful of the law, as it is our duty as airgunning enthusiasts, no matter what you read on certain forums' classified ads.

    Things I would have changed:

The stock angle, combined with the adjustable cheek piece makes mounting the rifle when using the open sights a little tough. You have to cant your head to an odd angle. It is better to use a scope. I put a small, lower red-dot sight that magnifies from 2 to 6 power and it is at a comfortable height. Shooting this gun without a optical sight is wasting the precision capabilities of this gun. It will seriously allow for humane shots beyond the range of most, and more expensive, airguns. I would like to see a single-shot tray available for it. I like to shoot different rounds during my shoots and a single-shot adapter would make things a bit easier for me, although the 6-shot magazine is easy to use. A 9mm version of this would be my ultimate hunting airgun, especially if it still had the threaded muzzle end.

    What others should know:

Do not even think about using a hand pump for this gun, unless you want to develope incredible shoulders and triceps. I use a steel tank and am getting a carbon tank to run close to 4500 psi. If you do, be careful not to overfill it, as it can be very dangerous. PCP is great, as long as you recharge slow enough to keep everything sorted. If you rush and do stupid things with compressed air, bad things can happen...

    Things I would have changed:

Solo me quejo de su peso en caminatas muy prolongadas, lo cual pude aplacar con una correa ancha. Recomiendo carga del rifle con SCUBA.

I almost wished I had bought this one first. I have a tree thats about 75 yards away from my frount door I can hit this with no problem at the second to the lowest setting on this rifle with accuracy. My friends love the way it feels. It is like shooting a rim fire 22 long NOT A CB . I shoot both in doors and the results about the same other than the 2500 is louder inside than the 22 rim. I have bought all 3 - .177- .22-and the .25 cal. I'm looking at the 707 if I can find the 6 shoot ver. in 9mm

    Things I would have changed:

Make a modurator for this gun that can be bought here and now. I could shoot it alot more if I don't disturb the neibors. I have to tell them when I am going to be shooting the sumatras.

    What others should know:

Do NOT buy or use the 50 & 60 grain solid ammo It WILL JAM in the 25 cal

    Things I liked:

I am very happy with the number of shots I get with this rifle. When useing the 32.4 grain pellets I can get over 25 shots on the upper end of the power wheel. If I don't need that much power then I shoot 14.3 CPs and turn it down and I can shoot over 40 good powerful shots I am saving up to get this in a 25 cal as soon as I can. CANT WAIT

    Things I would have changed:

Give a way to unload this beast

    What others should know:

On the lowest setting this gun is deadly. It still sends a 32.4 down range fast enough to sink it into a log 1/2" at 30 feet .

    Things I liked:

I purchased the .22 cal. version. Can't beat the "bang for the buck." Excellent value for a precision hunting air rifle. I love the power, accuracy, balance, finish, power adjustability and the appearance. The larger reservoir is nice for extending the number of shots between fills.

    Things I would have changed:

Add shrouded barrel option as this gun is extremely loud on high power settings. Do not think you're going to fire this gun in a typical neighborhood setting without attracting unwanted attention! Also need to refine lever action mechanism for smoother engagement (feels cheap). This may "wear-in" with more shots however. Also would be nice to have a standard quick disconnect fill port. Not a big deal however. A lighter trigger pull would be most welcome as well. Could also use a more intuitive power adjustment wheel. Increasing the 6-shot clip to 10-shot would be more appropriate to take fuller advantage of the 500 cc reservoir. All-in-all, however, a great gun for the money.

    What others should know:

My chrony results agree with Pyramid's tests. Best ammo is the 28 gr Eun Jin pellet. I prefer long-range shooting which this rifle does well. Once properly sighted-in I've been able to generate half-inch groups at 50 yds under no-wind conditions. This formidable rifle has been an excellent add to my high-power arsenal.

This Rifle is very accurate I have put 4 pellets in the same hole many times. It has the power I want and then some. I opperate it at 4 click above the lowest setting and I still can shoot 10.5 grain CPs 50yards no problem PS I want one in 22 cal or 25 cal next SOON

    Things I would have changed:

I put a 6x24x50 leaper scope on this rifle. Its a bit too much but you sure can reach out and touch someone

    What others should know:

With the size of pellet and the setting I use on the power wheel I get over 50 shoots at good power Even with 16.1 eunjin pellets beware you could still hit something half a city block away

i liked everything. quality, extremely accurate, very balanced, 6 shot repeater (great for hunting). very good open sights (i can hit coke bottle from about 110-160yards with only open sights).

    Things I would have changed:

i only want to change fiber optics open sights for the stock one. maybe a silencer

    What others should know:

i would recomend this rifle for every one who wants a very powerfull air rifle. there is no competition for it. .i suggest sumatra 25 cal because it can get longer shots with great accuracy and power. it is loud but very powerfull. it is a little bit heavy with optics so for shots under 100yards practice with open sights. . i recomend a hard plano case. jsb exact jumbo .25 cal for long and accurate shots and h &n 31gr round nose. for hunting hollow point h&n, beeman and eun jin 38gr. for bigger animals. it worth every penny you will pay for this rifle.

    Things I liked:

This gun is amazing,, plain and simple, gets a ton of shots per fill at the lowest setting, but gets amazing velocity! this gun is hands down more accurate than my Ruger .22 and 100x more fun and tons of power, and enough to kill something even on its lowest setting

    Things I would have changed:

To the tech department: ITS DANGEROUS TO SEND ANYTHING PRESSURIZED through the mail! really not supposed to ship anything pressurized and my gun came just under 180 bar in pressure, which is no big deal to me, but others probably might not have been happy other than that this gun definitely needs a different rear site, not as bad as others say, as long as you don't try and use the tiniest one.

    What others should know:

GET THE 10 for $10 test done, helps insure you dont get a lemon, plus you know right off the bat what velocity your gun is shooting and at what grain weight of pellet, this particular gun i got shot over 1250fps with a 14.5gr pellet, with an average loss of about 8 to 10 fps per shot. on the highest power
