    Jams more than smuckers

I bought this to go with my MCX and to be an EDC piece. I paid well over msrp due to covid and bought optics. Well I had to learn to deal with clearing jams since it james every 4 to 6 pellets, no matter the brand or quality. Is frustrating and has been a huge let down for something that I was extremely excited for. I have bought special tools for clearing the barrel as fast as possible, but is still annoying to have to field strip it to do so and makes me feel that it will let me down when needed. Not something I expect when I think SIG.

    Things I liked:

    Construction quality, appearance, reliable function.

    Things I would have changed:

Add adjustable rear sight. Gun shot low right, windage adjustable by drifting front sight elevation requires buying new front sight. Solved problem by adding red dot.

    What others should know:

Good accuracy for a "plinking" gun. Red dot needed due to lack of elevation adjustment.

    Things I liked:

The first gun failed after 20 shots. The CO2 cylinder blew out. It took 4 months to get a replacement. Poor quality and service

    Things I would have changed:

    Better CO2 seals

    What others should know:

    Better responsed to delayed shipping

    Things I liked:

I like the possibility to use a reflex dot sight replacing the fix rear sight. It has a good precision with the dot sight, adjusted at 5 yards, and in a slow rate of fire. Sig Sauer should produce a BB replica of the M17 (mimicking the operation of the firearm) with different rear plates to accommodate different brands of reflex dot sights and an optional adjustable rear sight (wind & elev). This way we can have the slide locking back, a replica magazine good to practice, a light trigger with short reset and be able to field strip.

    Things I would have changed:

The magazine is very creative, but kind of weird to practice with something that looks like a vapor. Although the trigger is not heavy, it has a long pull and long reset, what is not good for improving your shooting skills. If you don’t use the long reset, the pellet-belt rotates without firing, living a pellet behind. If you pull the trigger with the safety ON it rotates the pellet-belt and that pellet will be left behind. The way the red-dot replacement plate is attached to the gun should be improved by eliminating the fix rear sight as part of the installation, this way the locking screws of the red-dot sight are not blocked.

    What others should know:

If the magazine and the trigger don't bother you, it may be a fun gun to have with the Reflex Dot sight. I got 3 magazines per CO2 with good power.
I haven't seen a significant advantage, precision wise, between replica pellet pistols and good replica BB pistols for a distance of 5 to 8 yards (the exceptions are for revolvers). Any advantage is taken away by the way the trigger functions in pellet guns. However, it makes a difference on both type of pistols when you have an adjustable rear sight or, as in this case, a dot sight is even better.

    Exceptional !

I occasionally carry with a Mitch Rosen P320 M17 holster to supplement my EDC gun. Very nice for training and field carry. Superb appearance and accuracy. I own other Sig Arms weapons as well.

    Great training tool!

I needed a pistol to train my wife and daughter safe and proper handling and shooting techniques. Then advance them into defensive skills training draw/grip/sight/fire. This pistol replicates a P320 very well in regards to weight/balance/scale. Trigger pull and slide action isn't exact though good enough for training new shooters to transition into centerfire shooting. One minor issue that could be easily fix is the Safety's red dot is not easily visible.

Regarding performance I have had no issues at all in 400 rounds using SIG pellets and Crossman C02. I have two mags and 4 pellet mags, I treated the pellet mags -with Lock-Eze (graphite) to ensure smooth feeding. I mag a pellet seating dowel to seat pellets uniformly into the mag, the dowel also ensures the base of the pellet is round as some get distorted in shipping. Shooting at 7yds off-hand I have no problem putting 20rds inside a 1.5 to 2" circle. This gun is shooting about 1-1.25" low and .5" right at that distance, not ideal but for defensive shooting it works. I'm getting 60 full power shots per C02 cartridge in 55-60* weather.

All said I'm very please considering the number of negative reviews I've read about the pistol's feeding and leaking cartridges. I took the chance based on well written positive reviews and to date I'm very pleased. It has done exactly what I needed it to do - Acclimate new shooters to handgun skills without the safety issue of live fire and pressure/anxiety of shooting in a formal range setting.

An upgraded version with adjustable sight or Romeo RDO would be justifiable considering the performance of this base gun...... IMO.

    Thank you Sig Sauer.

    Poor Sights = Poor Accuracy

Fixed sights are way off! At 5 Yds, the pistol shoots 1-2" left. That makes this a B A D pellet pistol no matter how great it looks! Come up with a fix Sig!!!

    Awesome Gun

love the fact you can have several mags with co2 and pellets loaded to practice actual magazine changes. Love the fact this gun field strips and its accurate. Love the fact you guys have an optic for it. That will be my next purchase.

    P320-M17 air pistol

Purchased this air pistol a couple of months ago and I have been happy with the purchase so far. The intent behind the purchase was to get some trigger time in so I could work on fundamentals without going to a range.

    Awesome Air Pistol

I got this for the aesthetics. It looks and fell like the true M17.

    Don't buy this!

I bought it used it 4 times and it started leaking co2. Do not get this product. I wasted my money don't do the same as I did.

Great except shoots low like others have said

    I really like it except
    1. it shoots low about 2” from about 12’
    2. it doesn’t always get the pellet out of the mag I’m using RWS pellets - if I’m very careful with making sure the are well seated in the mag and I fire fairly slowly it is then probably about 85%
I have to say I was expecting a bit better quality from Sig, it kind of defeats the purpose of using it for practice- training yourself to shoot high is not optimal.

    Great purchase

Like it a lot. Recommendation: Would be a perfect training tool if the slide lock actually functioned. Could practice all essential pistol handling drills. Believe this would be easy to add. Still like it a lot.

    Totally great great replica!!!..but!

Would have given it five starts if it was not for having to aim much higher, cause when firing it should very low and a bit to the left, all though i have tried different weight of pellets to see if it would make a difference, not so big deal once you get used to having to adjust! Love being able to field stritp it and give it a good clean from time to time!
Now the lovely Lady mentions that a red dot can be mounted out of the box! any chance of showing how you do this and what red dot to buy? Would be very appreciated since it could be great to mount a red dot on this gun!

    Less than expected

My comments are from using two of these pistols. First failed and Sig replaced it under the warrantee, the second has also stopped shooting pellets, but it is usable for dryfire drills. Now I have many pellets and no useable gun from which to use them. Dry fire it will be until the gun fully stops working. This is my only experience with air guns, so I may have expectations that are incorrect. Would not buy another one, but would look for an inexpensive .22 or 9mm instead.

    Repairs

I bought this yesterday put the first co2in and it worked fine. I put a 2nd one in and now all it does is leak from mag into gun. Idk where I'm supposed to get a new seal bc I don't see anything like that on you're it..

    Things I liked:

This gun is loads of fun. Its easy to load, fun to shoot, and looks super cool. But..... its pretty inaccurate. I suppose the good thing is my copy shoots consistently low, but its a little frustrating. Still, Im enjoying it nonetheless.

    Things I would have changed:

Make the darn thing accurate. Come on Sig, I know you can do better than this!

    What others should know:

Takes about 60 pellets to run out of co2.

    Things I liked:

Like the feel in my hand. Pistol designed very well. Pellets are easy to load and loading the cartridge is very easy.

    Things I would have changed:

I wish they had some type of marking so you know when the safety is on.

    What others should know:

Good entry level pistol for the novice.
