Of all the crossbows I looked at before purchasing this one I think it is the easiest and safest to cock and un-cock. It's accurate and fun to shoot. I harvested a whitetail deer at 34 yards on my 3rd trip out with it. The deer expired in seconds and within 60 yards. I give it 4 stars because I haven't used it long enough to see how well my strings, cables, and other parts will hold up after shooting it a few more times.

I tried many before choosing this one, and Tenpoint crossbows are in a league of their own. The ACUSLIDE cocking system beats all the rest hands down. Once you understand how the cocking system works, and how to operate it properly you won’t find a safer system. The bow itself is a rocket launcher. If I had anything negative to say about it it’d be the overall length. It’s a bit front heavy so you need some sort of rest or shooting stick for longer shots. I got the SteadEddy, and it simply works. I purchased this in 2020 so there’s a new lineup out now that are shorter bows shooting at or around the same FPS. Get a Tenpoint! You won’t regret it. Also, their customer service is unmatched.

My Vengent S440 is the most easy to use crossbow I have ever had the pleasure of owning. The ability to cock and uncock it with ease is one of its best features. The accuracy is phenomenal also. Every aspect of this crossbow has been designed for ease-of-use and accuracy in mind.

Powerful and accurate guaranteed deadly at 50+ yards. Compact build makes it great for hunting out of a ground blind. Cocking and de-cocking is easy and safe, no discharge firing. It is on the high-end but once you shoot it you'll know why. If your not careful you will Robinhood your bolts. Definitionally worth it!!

Everything on the bow works fine the only problem I found was the crank does not stay in its holder I had to put an elastic band around the table in back around the bottom of the bowl and back to the knob to hold it in place

Top of the line crossbow. Make sure you get a good target or you’ll bury that bolt up to the veins

Love the Vengent 440 its lighter than i thought it would be and it is very fast, i cannot even see the bolt below 50 yards in flight.

I am extremely impressed with the performance of the Vengent 440. I harvested a nice 8 point buck at 15 yards, the bolt was in the ground before he reacted to being shot. The ease of cocking and uncocking is one of the best features. Very accurate and a pleasure to shoot. I highly recommend the Vengent one great product

Absolutely love the bow and everything about its operation. 2 flaws need to be corrected though. 1. The quiver is cheap and doesn't hold arrows at all. I had to steal a hair tie from my wife to hold stores in place. The screws for the arrow holder also get in the way of removing the quiver.
2. The decocking handle doesn't fit well into the stock. I have to wrap it with paracord to tie it in place.
