I own a Crosman Nitro Venom Dusk, and I had previously found that the pellet my NVD liked the best was the H&N Field Target in 16.36 grain weight. Apparently H&N stopped making this peller weight in domes, so I began looking for an alternative. The FX pellet in 15.9 grain weight was as close as I could get to the H&N, without running over 16.36, so I decided to try them. I was not disappointed. Three-eighths of an inch groups at 10 yards, and I think I could have squeezed out quarter incg groups if I could have just held the rifle steady enough. I'm nearly 76 years old and I'm not as steady as I was when younger. This performance is far better than the H&N Field Targets ever were. Many shots went through the same hole. And great penetration as well, about a half inch of plywood backstop. Outstandind performance in my Crosman.
Things I would have changed:My scope was set for the H&N pellets, so I had to reset it to accomodate the FX pellet, but this was not a real issue. Two clicks up and about five clicks to the right and I was on (or near) the bullseye. The one thing that I would change if I could is the price. These are expensive pellets, about $19 for 500, but they are worth the price to turn my Crosman into a fairly precise shooter. I would like to pay less, but I will definitely buy more as needed for the performance they provide.
What others should know:Very consistent in size and shape. Fliers due to likely pellet damage were rare. Most fliers were due to shooter error, and recognizable as such. I am very happy with these pellets and would recommend them to anyone. Also, if you have a rifle that is pellet picky, I would definitely recommend trying these out. I had given up on the idea that my Crosman would shoot with anything like precision, and believed that I would have to be satisfied with hunting accuracy only. That idea went out the window with these pellets. My guess is that if you have a rifle that can't shoot these accurately, look for a mechanical problem in either your scope or your rifle. Good luck.

I compared the FX 16 grain pellets to the H & N 15.89 and AA 16 grains pellets out of my .22 cal Marauder on Christmas Day 2022. At a distance of 60 yards; the FX shot a 1/2 inch group while the others shot a 2 inch groups. I did not think any pellet could shoot with my JSB's 15.89 grains. THe next day I shot a starling at 75 yards. These are great pellets!!
Things I would have changed:nothing
What others should know:You never know what pellet your gun will like. I would have bet on the AA pellets taking top honors when shooting my marauder.

Most accurate pellets I have found for my Umarex Origin. Have been using JSB 18.13 which are very accurate but these are amazing. Can put ten rounds (one magazine) into one hole Measuring less than 1/2 inch at 25 yards. My new favorite pellet for this gun. I believe the search is over.
Things I would have changed:Nothing
What others should know:Was amazed at the accuracy.

They shoot just as accurate as jsb pellets and the skirts don't bend as easily as jsb. But jsb are accurate.

head size is perfect, works awsome on my gamo mach 1 in .22, lighter than the jsb heavy 18g. Third time hunting with this pellet, love the sound of the smack when the pellet hits.
Things I would have changed:nothing leave it alone, if it ain't broke don't fix it...
What others should know:do your research and try out several different pellets, you will be surprised what you will find in the journey to perfection.
