It works fine after repairing it
Things I Would Have ChangedMake it work out of the box
What Others Should KnowThe gauge was not tightened enough. I am partially deaf, so I did not hear an air leak when first attempting to use it. After trying different connection combinations, I noticed the gauge was loose. I removed the gauge, it was only finger tight, I added a few turns if teflon pipe tape and tightened the gauge with a wrench. I do not know what the torque specs of the gauge are, so I used caution and tightened the gauge as much as I dared according to my experience. Once fixed, the gauge and connections work fine. Somebody on the (tightening wrench) must have not had their Wheaties that day or were sleeping when this gauge assembly went by on the assembly line belt? Final QC must have missed it as well? Maybe their torque wrench was set too low?
