Description
For many years, there has been a growing demand for a spring piston air rifle that both young and experienced shooters alike can enjoy. The Air Venturi TR5 is poised to meet that demand! A 5-position adjustable buttstock, that allows the user to fine tune the length of pull between 12.75" and 14.75" and a vertically adjustable buttpad make the TR5 truly customizable for all shooters. Not to mention, weighing in at just 5 lbs makes the rifle extremely easy to handle.
A sub 25 lbs cocking effort ensures a very easy and enjoyable shooting experience. The smooth side lever actuates a self indexing 5 round magazine, providing quick follow up shots. Two of these magazines are included to minimize your downtime.
Featuring a fully adjustable rear sight and a two stage adjustable trigger, the TR5 is at home on the target range just as well as your backyard. If you really want to zero in on targets, mount an optic of your choosing onto the 11mm dovetail. And for those looking to add other accessories, there is a UIT rail on the underside of the stock forend (commonly found on 10 meter competition rifles) where you can add a handstop, sling mount, or even a bipod.
With all of the adjustments, this multi-shot springer is bound to be a favorite for shooters of all shapes and sizes.

Things I Would Have ChangedNada.
What Others Should KnowTodo bien.
Cheap price, multishot.
Things I Would Have ChangedBetter Quality. We used it once and the cheap chinese gun broke apart, so we pitched.
What Others Should KnowDO NOT BUY IT.
Side charging is a definite plus. It did however need a quick RTFM to understand how to actually use it, but once I did that, it worked pretty well. The user needs to lift up on the handle to get it to disengage the retention mechanism, rather than just trying to pull it outwards. Magazines worked better than many other reviewers have stated. Pellets need to be seated into the holes, or yes, they will fall out, but once seated properly they work well.
Things I Would Have ChangedInjection molding of parts leads to some very sharp edges. I went through and scraped/filed away all the spots missed during assembly of this rifle. Plastic pistol grip and tube of rear stock area specifically had some major flexing during initial use. I placed a shim between the "buffer tube" area of the adjustable stock and the plastic grip. There is a good sized gap there that, once shimmed, helped stop the excessive flexing.
What Others Should KnowFor the money, it is a good value. Buy some extra magazines though, it only comes with two and you can go through them quickly.
Compact, light weight, easy adjustment for windage and elevation. Accurate! Easy to manipulate the controls. Magazines are easy to load and use.
Things I Would Have ChangedFiber optic front site. I wish it was able to eject the magazines without having to pull the charging lever all the way to the rear.
What Others Should KnowI only have the use of one arm and shoot rifles most often from a rest. This rifle is very easy to operate, safely, with one arm/hand. Cocking effort is low enough that I can spend quite a bit of time shooting without wearing out my arm. Great gun if you have a similar disability or are a younger shooter who has difficulty cocking the heavier spring/piston guns.
love this gun. very bullpupish. MAG!!!! side lever and adjustable stock
Things I Would Have Changedfiber optic front sight
What Others Should Knowbe careful cocking spring is strong. can double feed. soon you will be shopping bullpups
Side lever is very easy to use and trigger pull is excellent. Adjustable rear site is very easy to adjust and accuracy is very good at 15 meters.
Things I Would Have ChangedMagazine is a bit fiddly as it is quite small.
I really like everything about this this air gun.
Things I Would Have ChangedI would not change anything. Although I wouldn't mine seeing this with a gas piston, I would buy!
What Others Should KnowFor all my true air gunners, its a nice piece to add to the collection.
Easy to cock and fire .
Things I Would Have ChangedYour magazine holes are to big for your pellets ! They need to be .020 smaller , so the pellets don't fall out while loading .I have been flaring the pellets to compensate for this !
What Others Should KnowWill you be modifing the magazunes ?????
broke after the very first shot
Things I Would Have ChangedMake something not broken out of the b ox
What Others Should Knowfeeling lucky?

Seemed fairly accurate while it lasted.
Things I Would Have ChangedBought for my son, he used it less than a dozen times before the cocking arm got stuck open. Broken and with a sad son, we pitched in in the dumpster.
What Others Should KnowUnderstandable why they would discontinue this item. I would not consider buying another one of these.
