compact & easy to install. x, y, lock screws are knurled and accept standard screwdriver blade. Elastic band with velcro patch for attaching remote pressure switch to AF pistol grip. It sits low enough to not interfere with the stock AF 50mm scope.

The x, y and lock screws all change both x & y laser position. If you want a general pointer this is ok. Adjustments are continuous (no clicks). If you want to set a precise aimpoint it is very frustrating. A true, isolated, MOA click adjust on x & y would be a big improvement and is available on lasers comparably priced (though larger). The dovetail mount is single piece, so you have to slide it on front of the dovetail (and off if you want to remove anything else on the dovetail behind it). Having a removable piece so it can be put on/taken off without sliding to end of dovetail would be nice.

You'll drive yourself nuts trying to accurately zero this laser by adjusting/shooting because of the way the x, y and lock screws affect each other. Instead zero you scope first, determine where zero should be for the laser relative to the scope, and adjust the laser based on where the spot falls when looking through the scope. Took me about 30 minutes of tweaking to get the (locked) spot to fall at the right location. Center of laser is 1.5" above center of AF barrel.

Very easy to install and adjust. Very bright. A quality, purpose-built laser. Not just another laser pointer bolted on to a gun somewhere... Fit and finish excellent.

Weaver - Picattiny mount without a dovetail to Weaver adapter to avoid raising the height of the laser, and the Weaver mount can be quick release with excellent retained accuracy. it's HARD to buy a single 3/4" scope ring. :-( Intensity control would be great. It's almost TOO bright at close range and intensity control would serve to reduce spot size by virtue of less laser "splatter". Not thrilled with the expensive and somewhat unusual battery, but know it should do well in low temperatures and have a long life.

Agree with other reviewer: Due to low profile design, it makes a very nice sighting device for close range where tall scope mounts cause issues. I've sighted mine for my secondary zero of 21.8 yards. which gives me a 1" kill zone all the way from 12 to 36 yards, which is the apogee of my bullet arc. I know my point of impact is 1/2" higher than the laser dot at 12 yards and 1/2" lower than the laser dot at 36 yards. Great squirrel buster Laser dot on a squirrel's head anywhere on my property is a clean execution and will save me hundreds if not thousands of $'s in reduced property damage each year.. My scope is more accurate from 36 yards out, due to dot size, but the red dot helps speed target acquisition.

You can actually see the pellet pass through the laser's beam in low light. Very cool.

The steel bracket should be thicker; double screw mounting is better and would be more stable and firm. Price should be lowered much down.

The adjust screw holes have short thread length, and the screw hole is aluminium, this is a very week point. When I tighten the screw with a coin to adjust the laser dot, the aluminium thread just slipped, and my 100 US dollars gone. It can not be repaired.

Fairly good quality, easy to adjust, easy to sight in.

Lower the price. Use a double screw mounting.

When mounting on an Airforce rifle, it is useful for a close range sight-in device, due to the extra high scope mounting height.

It's bright, it's rugged, it has a good coil cable

Much better mounting clamp. It is WAY to easy to bump it out of alignment. I mean you can just touch the rear of it and push the beam left or right with the slightest pressure. AirForce Arms is WAY too proud of this thing for the price they charge.
