Allen Company Durango Soft Rifle Case, 46", Black

This is a wonderful no-frills cloth case. It is lightly padded, has a sturdy zipper, good handles, durable fabric, and a hanging loop on the end for storage. Fits my Gamo Arrow easily with room to spare. It would accommodate a longer rifle with a scope if need be. Best of all, it's made in the good ol' US of A!

It does not have external pockets for mags, ammo, tools, eye protection, phone, or other support equipment. But at this price I am not complaining. It protects the rifle well.

There are a couple of good reasons to get one of these. Number one, it provides protection. For this price it's worth having even if it's just to keep an old plinker from getting scratched up. I know a lot of guys/gals have display cases or wall racks to show off their weapons, but I prefer storing mine hanging on closet hooks out of sight and this is an easy way to do it without damaging anything. The second reason to have one is for transport. The case is almost a necessity if you need to take your rifle somewhere. It's a whole lot safer and easier to carry the bag than tossing the rifle loose in the back of a car or truck. When I visit friends for shooting practice, it also feels much more professional carrying the case than walking around the neighborhood carrying the rifle in the open. I wouldn't use a soft case like this for airline checked luggage, but it's fine for local trips to the range. A nice quality case like this for under $20 is a no-brainer.
