Stop pin. Which kinda defeats the purpose of having a mount that should stay in place by the design of the grip.

Unfortunately these mounts did not hold on a TX 200 springer. Have no idea if they work on other air rifles but they would not stay in place. I really wanted to be able to use these mounts so I could put them on the dovetail where I wanted them to be instead of where the holes for the stop pin are. I'm fairly certain that if you have an airgun that has heavy recoil you'll need mounts with a stop pin. Also know that if you put these on a dovetail and they don't hold, it will scratch the finish on the dovetail. Good thing I bought these from PA. They have been very helpful in working with me to get the correct mounts.

These rings align themselves directly over the bore and thus are important for those of us who shoot long range (10-80yds) with air rifles. This is important if you hunt or compete in Field Target. Other rings have one moveable and one immoveable side, thus they are not going to sit perfectly over the bore.

Very solid mounts, you can't go wrong with these!

The build quality of this mount is excellent. The unique design will keep scopes stationary on medium power spring airguns.

The mounts should include high friction tape inside to prevent the scope from slipping inside the rings.

These particular rings are not suitable for 'magnum' powered spring guns, especially those with a gas spring. Make sure degrease the dovetail before mounting.
