Power and accuracy. Crossman 14.3 pelltes will stack with this gun. Only problem with these pellets is speed. They are going supersonic which makes the gun loud. The. 18 gr from jsb is what I shoot to slow it down and makes it a little bit more quiet.

The auto safety is not needed and the wieght. She's a fat girl for sure.

Dont do what I did, and put a 23 ounce scope on it.

The gun as a whole is perfect...no qualms with accur8 or power!!!

Since i had neck surgery...that 9(+) lbs of weight plus 2(+) lbs for the scope and rings is absolutely to heavy for me in all situations perceived and i would love to sale it or trade it for another PCP that is lighter and/ or has the POWER compasity that my BT65 has!!!

Needs a way to integrate a better muzzle suppressor on it...

Nothing to be brutally honest maybe the pistol grip. Accuracy was terrible 30yards was about 2 1/2 inches tried 100 yards and the pellets wouldn't hit within 2 feet of each other. My gamo magnum out performed the bt65 which was insulting due to it being over twice the price. Let's take a minute and talk about the quality control the magazine that was shipped inside the runs chamber was crushed to the point where it was unusable

The so called dual safety... It's only an automatic and its in the worst Location for right handed shooters follow up shot r basically impossible. The anti double feeding mechanism just didn't work ended up having to leave the range due to that.

This gun may very well be an excellent gun but the one I got just wasn't

Dude I bought a 25 call bt65sb/qe and I was ready to Chuck it in the garbage after 2 weeks of never hitting the same spot twice. . I was pissed but then a.friend said get JSB pellets or H&N Diabolo. I did and I could not believe my eyes. This thing will shoot the nuts off of a gnat.. Unbelievable difference. It is the baddest ass tack driver that drives the tacks completely out of a 1" thick plywood. A cannon is putting it mildly. Accurate as any on the market with the right ammo. It is my favorite and to this day the most powerful 25 call on the market that I know of. You have if you got the Barret 50 bmg cal of the 25 cal airgun world

Gerald Aug 07, 2018

it could just have been a bad gun,your pellets, or YOU YOURSELF AS A SHOOTER..you knew b4 u purchase the gun,any brand.theres going 2 b a bad 1

Cameron Dec 07, 2017

What pellets were you using? That makes all the difference with these Hatsans. What works well in your Gamo may not work well at all in the Hatsan. The magazine could have been damage by the shipper maybe, and not Hatsan or Pyramid air...just a thought as you did not elaborate as to whom you were placing blame.

I love it all. It's a track driver for sure. I'm able to make one hole at 50 yards. H&N crow magnum, JSB match diabolo king .25, and the king heavy shot super! Using the mk4 pump it takes about 120 pumps to fill back up if you start at the 200 bar and shot 3 mags 27 shots.

Make a thicker magazine for longer pellets.

Predator polymag and Eujin pointed are both too long of pellets to seat properly and so are not super accurate after about 35 yards.

Lots and lots of power!! Hard sights are awesome, don't want to install a scope (yet) Love the fact that there is no recoil effect. Hatsan makes a very good quality product!!! Worth the cost!

Provide same model with sound suppressor and with hard fixed sight and you will own almost a perfect air rifle!!

It's LOUD!

I bought the rifle in March 2016. The $ 699 price is very low for what you get. Rifle VERY !!! customs. At a distance of 40 yards does CTC 1/2 inch. As a comparison I will say that I have a Walther LG300 Hunter ($ 1,300) and chatsan in anything he does not dissipates. I am very happy with this Hatsan.

The only thing to it I bought a pressure regulator.

Heavy, loud, and very accurate.

Everything that was described in previous reviews right on the money. Excellent air rifle, functions as advertised. I like the open sights, but even better with the UTG 4-16x44 scope that I got. Nice grouping (about 2 to 2-1/2 inches at 50yrds, with bi-pod & braced & JSB Match Diabolos). Waiting for the stripper to arrive to see if there is an improvement on my grouping.

Bolt is a little stiff, would be nice it Hatsan could loosen it up a bit. Maybe it will after a few hundred rounds through it, I hope.

If you use the Venturi G6 hand pump, expect a little work out if you have to pump up a very low air reservoir. If you add a lot of options to the rifle (scope, bi-pod, Light, laser, etc..) expect it to become a little heavy, being that the rifle is already over 9 pounds to start with. Also, I would advise getting the CenterPoint Laser Boresighter to make it easier to sight in the scope.

Update 2: Forget the Laser Bore sighter, the tips to hold it snugly in your rifle are garbage, the expanding rubber tips slip over the ends and the sighter wobbles in the bore.

JW Jan 27, 2016

Update: With the Stripper attached at 25 yards I am actually widening the same hole over and over. At 50 yards I would say I've improved my grouping by as much as 3/4 of an inch. SWEET!

The rifle packs a pleasant punch. To say it is Accurate is an under statement, I shoot at 25 yards without stand and keep a tight cluster with max hollow points. Up to 50 yards I use a stand rounded pellets to maintain a two inch group. The air tank is great and easy toswap a spare in on a run. Tanks are easy to fill with hand pump.

The weight is a slight heavy. To stop shocking waiting g for. That perfect shoot I had to use a single leg stand.

For more time out shooting highly recommend get a extra air tank and 3 clips.

It is a multi shot. It shots real well, my son likes it better than other guns because it is a multi shot. It is pretty accurate, but I find it is not as accurate as my other guns

It is just TOO heavy. take some weight off. The air fill probe is a one of a kind, make it standard with the rest of the world.

The gun is useless with out a fill probe. I normally do reviews, but my experience with Hatsan has brought me to this. My fill probe has been lost, and I have not been able to replace it. It seems the only way to get one is from Hatsan, good luck with that. I have summited a support form and have received no response. I have called a couple of times and they have called back when I was not at home. Trying to get something out of Hatsan is worse than going to the dentist.

Thomas Apr 08, 2017

I contacted Hatsan this week by phone very nice people. The part ordering system it's archaic. Fill out a form with no idea the exact part name or number. So I called I asked for the part number and they shipped them immediately. The downside to Hatsan, Pyramyd doesn't service them you should always service what you sell. Seems lame .... They told me for a repair ten day turnaround which seems very good.

I agree with your i contact Hatsan about an issue in my Bt65 and they help me specially Rick Eutsler he's a great guy thanks Rick.

Mark Nov 11, 2015

Michael not sure why you are having such an issue either contacting or getting assistance from Hatsan. I have three PCP rifles from them and one had a damaged scope and another was missing two of the three magazines and both times I emailed their customer support and was contacted both times within 24 hours and they addressed all of my issues in a polite, professional and expedient way. I do own the same gun and yes it is a tank but I did my research before purchasing this model so it was not a surprise to me when it arrived. I don't know why you criticize Hatsan as you stated you lost the probe and if you are having issues getting in touch with Hatsan directly the folks who work for Pyramyd air could help you as they also have great customer service.

This is a VERY powerful PCP rifle, and not for the faint of heart. It comes with three magazines, misc. tools, misc. extra "O" rings and accessories, among which is sling and hard case. Built in rails, sling rings, and open sights are very nice standard equipment. The ability to adjust the butt stock features makes for a custom fit to the user. Pellet speed can break the sound barrier, when lighter pellets are used, which makes for a loud crack. That doesn't bother me, as I have other, quieter guns to use for backyard shooting. This is a hunting gun, and all my other hunting firearms make noise, so I'm used to hunting with guns that offer a loud report. If I wanted a quiet gun, I would have purchased a Hatsan gun with similar features from the QE series.

If possible, taking off some weight (about two pounds) would enhance this gun immensely. As well as being powerful, Hatsan air rifles have a reputation for being heavy! Making the safety optional for automatic, or manual, setting would allow the user to make that decision. Replacing the side bolt with a Olympic style cocking lever would make it easier to cycle and allow for faster cocking, and quicker follow up shots - not to mention smoother and more comfortable function. The hard case that comes with the rifle is tight fitting, and even the addition of a air stripper will not allow the rifle to fit in the case. It probably wouldn't cost any more to stretch the case a bit? The sling rings could be a bit wider, allowing for more versatility in choice of slings. QD mounts could be part of the gun, instead of the small, non removable, Euro style rings that are used. The sling is cheaply made, has a two sided Hatsan logo, and seems mainly for commercial promotion, rather than function.

This gun was designed for open sight use. DON'T BUY IT if your immediate plan is to scope it! PCP guns having open sights are scarce to find, but sightless guns are everywhere. The Hatsan QE series of PCP air guns do not come with open sights. That's what you should be looking at, not this gun! Basically, all the internals are the same, and you won't be forced to buy the open sights when you don't intend to use them anyway! Scoping this gun should only be considered if you damage the open sights, and need that scope to make the gun function. Use those great open sights for fast sighting hunting purposes, and you won't be spending money for a scope and high mount rings to clear the open sights. Scopes almost always slow down target acquisition and who needs that in a hunting situation? If you want a great, powerful, open sighted, hunting air rifle, and can handle the weight, this is it! Otherwise, buy something else that better meets your requirements.
