The KWA 1911A1 Gas Blowback Airsoft Pistol is a durable, full-metal green gas pistol with KWA's reputation for solid performance. This pistol is an authentic replica of a real 1911, and features an NS2 gas delivery system for crisp blowback recoil, a full metal 21 rd magazine, and a shot velocity of 340-350 fps (using .20g BBs). Dial in accuracy and increase range with the adjustable hop-up. Pick up this gun for your next airsoft skirmish!

Things I Liked

The build quality is outstanding. The gun functions very smoothly, with crisp blowback action and decent gas efficiency. Accuracy is great - once the hop up is adjusted and high quality .25 gram bbs are used, anybody exposed out to 30 yards is a guaranteed one hit kill if you do your part. Further than that, and you'll have to spam the trigger, which isn't hard to do by the way since it's such a light and short pull with an equally short reset. Some of my bbs curve left after about 30 yards, but all in all KWA has outdone themselves.

Things I Would Have Changed

When the gun first arrived it was pretty dry (especially the top of the slide) and had a bit of trouble sliding smoothly, but after applying the included silicone oil to some key points of contact, functionality is at 10/10

What Others Should Know

This variant of the 1911 is an absolute classic, and perfect for all of those fans of history out there. Durable, historical, reliable, and accurate.

I bought one of these several years ago...it is my most reliable airsoft pistol. I always count on it. It does not double feed or jam or misfire. It just shoots. The handles are tight, the thumb safety works. Only one thing...you can screw up the safety system if you play with the it enough...pulling the trigger...etc. while on safety. Then, later when you innocently take off the thumb safety it will remember you goofed with the trigger and FIRE. I'm not exactly sure what I did wrong...but I suspect the hand grip spring safety is weak and squeezes so easily it is not terribly effective. So far I haven't hit anyone but it is a bit of a surprise when the thing goes off in your hand. Makes you look stupid. Don't give it to young kids and let them just mess with it.
