We loved them while they lasted. They released easily enough for a quick set up while stalking. The height was perfect, and they release quietly. BUT, they aren’t very well made. One stick started to stick after a few uses. Thankfully we were able to fix that. Then the whole top assembly popped up, and now we’re stuck with 2 very expensive, unusable pieces and an empty Primos carrying bag. Primos won’t reply to my inquires, so it’s definitely upsetting.
While these do stabilize your firearm very good I’m not sure what world we live in where 5’-1” is “tall.” I stand at 6’-6” and both my boys at 6’+. These work very well if taking a down hill shot and we’ll enough if taking a level field shot. Heaven forbid I’m on the downhill side of a ravine shooting across it. If I have to shoot uphill while standing they are completely useless. Typically the terrain I hunt I don’t have time to get on my knees or sit down to get comfortable. How about making a set that is truly “tall” like 72” at least. Other than that it is a quality product that works well. I just disagree with the “tall” marketing of it.
High quality, stabilizes the rifle very well. Only problem is I thought the 24” min height meant it could collapse to 24”. It can’t. Collapsed height is about 43”. If you want a shorter one, buy the shorter one.

I have several of the shooting stick`s the bipod gen3 is broken at the handle I called in the first question they asked if it was broken at the handle , they must have a problem with them at that point ??? Only one year warranty that sucks . just two years old this christmas how often do I use it ?? Anyway I am not happy with there warranty . Just venting I will have to look else where for a better shooting stick.
