Very difficult to place the first bike closest to the car, Because the Hook arms are obstructing and are stationary.
Have had 2 bike racks for hitching on my SUV , they weighed in excess of 40 pounds. I am 76 and I appreciate that this rack is so durable, adequate for 2 hybrid Treks, and I can lift with one hand! I love it

This bike rack is great, and so much easier on the bikes, especially if you have step through or not men’s bikes. Once you get it set up, and if you use the same bikes all the time, this rack is a dream.
