It is a good replica. The loading of the CO2 is fast and doesn’t require a tool. The magazine came with only one type of spring, so I am guessing it is also proper for paintballs, avoiding the need to change springs. I haven’t tried paint balls. Surprisingly, it has good accuracy. The precision is not consistent because of the trigger’s system, but most of the time only one out of eight shots is out of the a 3.75-inch circle at 19-20 feet, normally the last one. It was free two-hand rapid shooting. The best group was 2-inch.
Things I would have changed:Make it field strippable to facilitate cleaning when a paintball or a powder ball burst inside. The trigger could be smoother specially on the last shot. Make extra magazines available when the gun is.
What others should know:In a fast shooting, I got 8 magazines per CO2. The first shot was at 359 FPS, the first of the 6th mag at 320 FPS and the first of the 8th mag at 311 FPS (X-Radar). The 9th magazine was out on the 6th shot. Temperature was at 77 F. I used the RB PVC balls, their average weight is 0.9075 grams and 10.85 mm diameter, which is close to the muzzles diameter (~11 mm). I installed a laser just to compare and, although the groups were more consistent, I didn’t get better than 2-inch.
