Just in time for the release of the real steel Walther PPS M2, Umarex has released the Walther PPS M2 Blowback Compact CO2 BB Air Pistol.

Featuring the same stunning look as its namesake, the PPS M2 includes Walther’s signature ergonomic grip for a secure and comfortable hold.  To get started shooting, remove the 18rd BB magazine, load up CO2 through the rear backstrap, and use the integrated Allen tool to open the canister.  Once you rack the full-metal slide, use its white-dot sights to hone in on targets downrange, and spit its 18rds out at speeds up to 390 fps with responsive blowback action.  In a move beloved by CO2 pistol shooters, the M2’s magazine features a spring catch for easy loading.

This is an ideal pistol for learning the techniques of pistol shooting or as a tactical trainer for owners of the real steel PPS M2. No matter if you are an owner of an M2 or just appreciate Walther’s craftsman, pick up the PPS M2 and start shredding targets and dropping cans in no time.

Things I liked:

Just about everything. This gun shoots great. While mine shoots a little left it's consistent. within 10 feet I can bullseye a dime.

Things I would have changed:

I wish they had valved it to hit a little harder. Other than that, excellent.

What others should know:

As I said, only about 340 to 380 fps. I wish they'd make it a little more powerful. This is the 2nd one I've bought (the other was an older design). The first finally blew it's seal and leeks out the co2. I'd like it have it resealed.

Things I liked:

First time purchasing an air gun and I wanted one similar to the real firearm. I heard good things about this pistol so I decided to go with it. I love the weight of it - it feels real, solid, and comfortable I am a 27 year-old, 5'4" female so it fit perfectly in my hands It's accurate in my opinion but I'm a new shooter. It was really easy to get proficient with this as long as you know the correct grip to hold/fire a pistol

Things I would have changed:

I don't know if it was the C02 cartridge or the gun, but there were a couple instances in which the BB just fell out of the muzzle after the trigger was pulled and there was no blowback or sound to indicate it had been fired. I'm pretty certain it was the way I placed the C02 cartridge because it didn't happen after I readjusted it. I just wanted to include this in case someone has the same issue and thinks it's the gun when you most likely just need to reload the C02

What others should know:

This is a great training gun for someone who plans on getting the real firearm in the future. I plan on getting the firearm version in the future and use this to practice my grip, aim, clearing the chamber, or just walking around the house and handling it as if it's loaded. I think this is a wonderful, beautifully made pistol that looks like a clone of the real firearm and recommend anyone buy it.

Things I liked:

A quality airgun with the features that you would expect with this trademark. The weight, heft are right on. A convenient hex tool is housed in the grip to facilitate insertion of the CO2 cartridge, and the gun features a ruggedly constructed clip.

Things I would have changed:

Nothing. Walther says it all.

What others should know:

For the price, this has to be one of the best around! Had to wait for mine; hope that you don't have to wait for yours.

  • John from USA asked:

    holster?

    • William from USA asked:

What type of trigger does this gun have - single or double action? Is it ok for small hands/ beginners - not long trigger pull for small fingers?

      • William from USA answered:

Specifications say Single Action!! I was asking about triggger weight, number of pounds of pull, length of travel, hard difficult pull vs short crisp pull for kids.

      • Mark from USA answered:

The trigger is double action. The gun is small.

    • Justin from USA asked:

Does the Walther PPS M2 have full blowback meaning slide release & catch and field strip?

      • Maurice from USA answered:

Yes it has a full blowback system. Every time you pull the trigger the slide blows back, loads another round. Will do this as long as you keep pulling the trigger.

      • Jason from USA answered:

Not sure on full blowback but if your not wearing underwear i wouldn't field strip
