Up the consistency of your Diana Stormrider air rifle or Bandit air pistol with this dedicated regulator from Altaros Air Solutions.

Diana Stormrider/Bandit Regulator

  • Aftermarket regulator upgrade
  • Fits Diana Stormrider PCP air rifle and Diana Bandit PCP air pistol
  • Fits Gen1 and Gen2 Stormrider
  • Output pressure settings range from 100 BAR (1450 PSI) to 150 BAR (2175 PSI)
  • No drilling required
  • Includes regulator, mounting rod and O-rings

Tech Tip: When installing this regulator into a Stormrider, the factory pressure gauge will show the regulator pressure. Adding the PY-A-9034 / DIAP-SR-66 fill valve and gauge assembly will allow you to monitor the fill pressure of the rifle once the regulator is installed.

Please Note: The pressure indication scale on the regulators is not always exact. Our technicians check and set the regulators to 130 BAR (verified with a regulator tester) before shipping.

Things I liked:

ease of installation in my stormrider gen 2

What others should know:

what you adjust the bar to does not register the same on the bottom pressure gauge. i also installed the fill pressure gauge at the front of the reservoir which gives an accurate figure. a 125 bar setting on the regulator shows 150 bar on the lower gauge. however the 125 bar setting on the regulator gives 15+ rds from the first to the 15th then she starts dropping down below the 25yd zero. the regulator came with a note stating a 130 bar setting tested at the factory. crossman 14.3 gr pellets are what i use and accuracy is excellent with 5 shot strings.i had to change the o-ring on the regulator already so be sure to lube the ring and threads in the reservoir heavily. the hand pump is beating me to death so i'm gonna buy a plug in pump ( it's a 60 pump stroke starting at 140 bar pressure in the reservoir to get to 200 bar but at 78 yrs it's still a gas). this stormrider is sumthin else!! PIGEONS BEWARE LOL

Things I liked:

Simple installation

Things I would have changed:

A way to test before installation. Have it work after installation

What others should know:

Installed according to instructions and you tube video after setting to 130 bar ad the reg gauge equaled tube pressure not reg set pressure. Tried to Remove cap and readjust. Reg gauge showed much lower than set value. Tried a couple more times before trying to remove. Couldnt remove but was Able to get reg gauge back to tube gauge pressure. Waste of money for this And manometer cap. I am sure this is just my case and most installations go fine. I am just voicing my frustration for not getting what I wanted. A regulated Stormrider.

Things I liked:

Ease of installation. Results

Things I would have changed:

It's a bit pricey. Should be a $50 upgrade, or even come standard.

What others should know:

Mine was set to minimum when I received it. I set it to 140 bar and getting 25-30 accurate shots per fill in .22 cal. Bandit. It does what it claims to, tighten up groups without having to use "Kentucky Windage" as pressure drops.

When will Diana Regulator for Stormrider &... for Diana Regulator for Stormrider be available? I am also looking for the fill assembly for the same gun. Thanks

    • Rum Runner from USA asked:

How much loss of shot count in a Bandit since this takes up precious air space in the tube?

      • Randy from USA answered:

        I get 8 shots @ 700fps with 14.3 8 698 15.47 9.98 7 705 15.78 10.08 6 704 15.74 10.07 5 705 15.78 10.08 4 703 15.70 10.05 3 700 15.56 10.01 2 705 15.78 10.08 1 701 15.61 10.02 There is still remaining air but below my reg setting. I am content with 8 shots, laser accurate in .22. refill to redline with 20 pumps. I cut 1 coil from the hammer spring to make the ES smaller. If I added hammer spring pressure it gave me higher FPS but larger ES and less accurate.

Can this regulator be installed on a Diana Mauser K98 PCP?
