Things I liked: Exactly the same as the barrel band that's located closer to the receiver. Set screws make for a secure fit to the barrel
Things I would have changed: Would be easier to install if it was a piece part - split down the middle - then I wouldn't have to remove the moderator and front sight to install it.
Things I liked: Great added support for the end of the Barrel which it needed from day one. Makes this rifle very accurate now.
Things I would have changed: Nothing.
What others should know: If you have the Gen 2 Stormrider, those have a non-removable Suppressor. You have to undo the 3 set screws on top of the breech to loosen the barrel. You then can remove the barrel and slide the barrel band all the way down to the front of the barrel. Insert the bottom half of the band on the tank and then re-install the barrel back into the breech.
Things I liked: If you have a Diana stormrider this is a must have. I was having problems sighting in my scope. I could not get a consistent grouping I think there was to much play in the barrel. Once I put the second barrel band on my rifle I was able to get all my shots in the Bulls-Eye.

Any chance of getting the "Chaser" version stocked as it has the picatinny attachement rail rather than the lug?
I just purchased the Diana Stormrider in 22.cal and the suppressor on the barrel of the rifle I have does not have a set screw on it and the front site is not on the front of the suppressor either it's behind it on the barrel. What's the best way too get the both off to install this Band? After thinking about it overnight, it's probably safer to just remove the Barrel from the Rifle. Thanks, Art
Best way is to remove the barrel and install it that way
I own a Storm Rider and am interested in adding a scope. I know it needs a compact scope, so I bought a 3x9-32 Bug Buster for it . Is there a way to remove the rear sight from the installed barrel band, or do you have to buy the one above w/o the sight and install it? Thanks, Wild Bill, Pa.
Sure, rear sight is easy to remove. First remove the screw in the top of the rear sight. Then take a mallet and tap the sight either from the front or the back and it will slide off the rail.
