As we close out April, we look ahead to hunting season and what we need to do to prepare. Kick off the dust of winter with some target practice, new ammo, and some interesting items you might not have considered.
Flatter Trajectory – Better Accuracy
When it comes to shooting, using slugs instead of pellets can provide you with a better experience overall. Slugs have a higher ballistic coefficient than pellets, meaning they fly faster and farther, with less wind resistance affecting their trajectory. This translates into a flatter trajectory and greater accuracy at distance. The slug selection on our site has been growing steadily. Here are a few for you to consider.
The slugs of precision rifle champions, Zan Projectiles are produced in Slovenia and come in calibers ranging from .217 to .253 weighing between 20 grains to 40 grains. These slugs are made for long-range precision shooting. Another type of slug is Hatsan’s Vortex Big Bore Supreme slugs. Available in .45 and .50 calibers from 180 grain to 550 grain, these slugs are hard-hitting for big-bore hunting success. Alongside that, Umarex Brimstone slugs make small-bore hunting success possible with slugs ranging from .22 to .30 caliber. These hollowpoint slugs provide maximum expansion to take game effectively. Check out these new slugs, and stock up for the coming season.

No jingle? What a pity.
Hi PA folks, I just wanted to react to your blurb for the FX Crown Limited Edition PCP Air Rifle, SOWW & IV8888.
Huh?
Honest, I don’t get it. I read the PA description too. I still don’t know how it’s supposed to work.
It looks like there are two model numbers, is that right? SOWW & IV888? What’s the difference?
You mention shooting arrows. The description mentions an arrow barrel. The pic in the blurb seems to show an arrow mounted somehow to the gun. Is that the arrow barrel? Maybe two cm long? That can’t be right.
One of the pics on the website shows a fat barrel that an arrow might fit in. The pic is labelled “With Slug barrel installed”. Slug barrel? Are the slugs a much larger caliber?
Don’t get me wrong.. I’m not in any high-end airgun market. But usually I can at least figure out why I wish I could afford what I’m not buying.
This one baffled me.
