Using my weight at 215 lbs I can easily pump rifle up to 3000 psi between shots.

Nothing really maybe a metal base.

it looks and feels like it should last a long time as has been said by previous reviewers. this is one heavy pump - solid. about 130 strokes took my Gauntlet from 1000 psi to full at 3000.

it is a little bit of a workout during the last 30 strokes. a small price to pay compared to the cost of a suitable compressor.

Fills quickly... Says "Quality made in England" so when I tell friends what I paid for it I'll feel a little less like a schmuck... but hey, we all know the Brits practically invented cheap veneer furniture in the 1700's..

Should come with a micro-bore hose with spring protectors at each end. I bought an Air Venturi micro bore hose and it made a big difference. Also, the pipe fittings would not hold air no matter how incredibly tight I made the connection. I used teflon tape and problem solved. They warn against doing this, probably because a tape fragment could enter the system. Just be careful. Mine works now...

This kit tests the limits of how much consumers will fork over for a hand pump. I still believe it is incredibly over priced. $250 dollars and they include a cheap hose? Not cool... The foot base is sturdy and adequate, but really...plastic???..On a $250 pump? Greedy corporate culture continues to flourish...

Do not simply tighten joints and start pumping. Use soap and water to test for leaks at 3,000 psi they have to be very tight. I was beginning to wonder if I could get tight enough

it super easy to pump tops of my armada in 70 pumps from 2000 to 3100 evrey time i bleed the hose line not a drop of water comes out!!!

make the nut that holds the foot plate on metal to metal not plastic to plastic but its rilly not a big deal

its way easier than what every one sed about pumps and no water problems!

At 175 pounds passing 3000psi is quite difficult as my weigth is not enough.

Got this one and the FX 4 stage hand pump.The MK4 is my go to hand pump because the CFM is noticeably higher than the FX 4 stage hand pump.

Nothing to change on this well engineered hand pump.

I own a Brocock grand prix s6 pistol and an FX Impact that I have placed a 45cc airtube in place of the 480cc tank and the MK4 only takes 18 pumps to fill the Brocock to 200 bar and a few pumps more to fill the FX 45cc to 220 bar!

Very smooth pumping compared to the Benjamin pump.

Mine came with the proper adapter for my Benjamin Discovery but now I have 2 because I didn't think it came with an adapter at all and ordered one.

This pump works really well and is a MUST if you are shooting a PCP and don't have an air tank or an expensive compressor. Initial assembly was simple and my adapter for my Air Arms S200 snapped right onto the supplied hose. My gun already had about 1700psi and I needed to pump to 2900 psi (200 bar). I started pumping and it didnt take but 30 seconds to get the pressure in the pump hose to the same pressure as in the gun and then I started pumping to get it to 200 bar. It takes about 2 minutes to do that so not long at all. The forced required was not difficult at all.

The quality of the pump is very good but I would like to see a slightly bigger base. Another 1" wider base on each side would have made this Super great!

My first thoughts were that this was a piece of junk. Come to find out I needed to tighten up the connections and it worked like a champ!!! I had fired 40 or so shots from my AA S510 and topped off the rifle's reservoir with about 40 pumps. What a sweet thing to have when you can't carry a compressor around and you don't need to top it off every hour, although I think that I could do that and I'm 70, and in fair shape. It does take nearly all my weight (210) to pump the last few strokes

I could have waited to buy a compressor and refill station for a couple of months. It's actually good exercise to boot!!

Much better than the Benjamin pump. Fills my PCP air rifle much faster than the Benjamin pump.

It is a quality piece of kit.

Longer fill hose, although I realize that takes more pumps to pressurize just the hose.

The overall built quality is top-notch. The components are of very high quality, although the plastic base feels a bit cheap compared to the rest of the pump. The operation is very smooth and the pump never went beyond warm when refilling my PCP pistol tank to 200 bars. The dessicant/dehumidifier system seems to be working quite well because in about 10 refills so far I have yet to see any indication of moisture when opening the brass pressure release screw.

I would have preferred a slightly larger metal base, to provide more foot coverage as well as to match the rest of the components, however this is only a slight criticism... The base is still constructed of high-quality plastic and it feels pretty stable indoor.

Be patient when filling, expect the resistance to built up as you pass 2000 psi (or so) and pause for a couple of seconds on each up and down strokes. Use your knees to let the weight of your body do the work.

It is a lot of work, but it does what it is supposed to do.

The plastic base has held up so far. Would have preferred a more substantial metal base.
