Compact and sturdy

Heavy duty wood construction, simple yet effective for most break barrels up to .22 caliber. Easy to sight in your high powered rifles even in a basement, or large room without worries of ricochet. Love the duct seal design for a quiet backstop.

Not to much although with .25 caliber becoming more popular maybe something a little stronger for big bores. I am hesitant to shoot my .25 break barrel at the trap for fear of damaging it.

Lets face it for your Co2 pistols, springers in .177 or .22 and most bb or pellet pistols or rifles this a perfect design. It is mainly a indoor target giving you the ability to shoot indoors which is great. One word of caution. When you first mount that scope on your new gun keep in mind that first flyer could hit the wood or miss the trap all together. Once you get it dialed in it is great for keeping that accuracy and marksmanship all year round.

It's exactly what it's said to be! A high quality piece that is very quiet. I mostly use it for .22 pellets, but my shooting buddy has shot .177s at it.

Very well thought out, there's really nothing to improve upon.

Although one might think that this is a very expensive accessory, by the time a guy goes out, sources the components, puts it together, and finishes it, he'll have a LOT more than sixty bucks of time and materials in it! I know this because I did just that, and the targets I built just aren't up to the quality and usefulness that this target is! Generally, five pound blocks of duct seal aren't available locally. The blocks that these targets use completely fill up the interior, and there's little chance that a pellet is gonna sneak by and hit the back of it. The targets that I built depend upon you hitting a small area in the central part of the target...this Air Venturi piece is superior in every way. I ain't gonna lie! Well...not about this, anyway.

This trap works very well. It traps bbs and pellets with no ricochets.

I don't see anything that I would change. Well, maybe I would put a carry handle on the top to make it easier to move around.

It is pricey. I ordered an extra back to make sure nothing goes through and it worked very well.

The steel plate I added to the purchase> Good design and if some you filks do not like the soft wood frame just take the time and make your frame from hard wood, oak, ash or heart wood from a good tree.

The list price is about $15.00 too highso just buy with a discount or buy one and make your own wood frame.

Very quiet, excellent pellet trap.

A little pricey.

I also own the non-metal plate version and love it (have had it for about 7 years). Got this one for my higher powered .22 pellet rifles. Like my first one I added a handle to the top which makes it much easier to carry. I cut out target frames from foam board, clip the targets to it, and slide the frame into the slot on the trap-fits perfect.

The Quiet Pellet Trap performed as advertised with the ballistic Putty inside. The steel backing is a nice extra, although none of my shots have penetrated that for yet. I think removing pellets buried in the putty will be tedious. I haven't attempted that yet.

The wood frame needs to be enlarged slightly to allow a little more error when shooting at side edge bulls and top line bulls. A high speed errant pellet will splinter the wood frame.

Solid, absorb, and stop anything. You can shoot inside, because it stops even .25 pellets from a magnum rifle, at a short distance. It is just great. Will not dissapoint hoy.

The steel back Up is bit necessary. Unless you are going to shoot a small caliber fire arm.

Well made and compact,It comes with 1 steel back up plate and putty if you buy the set You can adapt it by adding metal to exposed parts of trap to keep it from chipping the corners.

Maybe a larger size opening slot,There isn't much more to change it's perfect as it is.

I added steel to all exposed wood on trap to protect it and I also built a rolling stand for it and I surround the cart with steel braces in case of miss the ammo won't ruin the trap.

Well constructed. Easier to clean out pellets than the one I was using.

The price. 70 bucks is too much. Of course that ain't gonna happen.

I clean the trap after each use with tweezers. I've only shot an HW30S at it so far. Getting a Disco next month and will be digging deeper.

Outstanding little Pellet Stop. Really an excellent way to enjoy air gunning right in the privacy of your basement. It does have to be cleaned out periodically. I do it after each session. But it also shows you how well the pellets your using perform. At lease in the putty.

Wish is was just a bit bigger. Like 2' x 2' in size. Because it's so small I'm a little nervous about shooting at it from anything but a braced position. Shooting at from a free hand position, unless your really steady, may result in you shooting up your Basement.

How about offering up pre-cut backers that fit it. That corrugated plastic stuff might be a little messy then paper card board.

Keep your shots within the frame, & it's worry free shooting.

Have a removable top frame for it. Make it a little wider for further away shots, so the frame doesn't get hit. It could happen.

Not sure yet if there's replacement gel packs available for when the ones inside it get too many shots in them. Still wouldn't hurt to put something sturdy behind it to be safe.

I would offer a metal plate to be placed in the box ahead of the duct seal. I put one in mine.

In the photo I put aluminum strips around the exterior to save the box from errant pellets. I think this should be standard.

When this target is shot up you will have a good model for your own build.

Excellent pellet trap for indoor shooting!

The ballistic putty is not the full length of the trap. You need to put an inch of wood shim in there to level it off. But still well worth it!

I really like this pellet trap. It is exceptionally quiet and the dimensions are just right. I have mine sitting on the top step of a step ladder leaning against the wall and it is the perfect size.

I would make it a bit deeper as I get some paper chips coming out of the trap unless I continually use new cardbord backers.

This is a quality product. i highly recommend it. I am very happy with mine.
