    Things I liked:

Got Lucky with my purchase. i have been reading the bad experiences people have been having with the order of this refurbished rifle. I was dreading that I might experience the same disapointment that some of you had. The gun I purchased was very dusty but nothing that a good clean up could do. I clened out the barrel then did a complete wipe down and clean of the rifle. Next I inspected the entire stock and removed it. The only flaw I could find was a tiny blemish in the blued barrel that was barely noticicable. Then I checked the safety operation and decocking to make sure my gun was sound. Everything worked perfectly. Then I loaded the rifle and took my first shot. Oh..My..gosh! This gun is an amazing shooter. The shot cycle is quick and kicks just a little. The gun moves straight back provided you have a proper artillery hold and have the gun on its balance point. The trigger is out of this world and I had no need to adjust it. The pull felt around a pound.

    Things I would have changed:

I wouldnt change anything. I paid a lot of money for a refurbished rifle but every penny spent was worth it.

    What others should know:

I am shot many springers in this gun has jumped up to my top three. my big three are hw97K, hw95L, and this gun. If you are looking for a world class springer consider this one.

    Verified Purchase

    Things I liked:

Appearance, build quality and street appeal, five plus stars.

    Things I would have changed:

Offer a fully tuned version with the finest tuning components regardless of cost. The TX 200 MK III is good enough to make the best use of a complete quality tune job.

    What others should know:

I found that the version I purchased is very hold sensitive. Walnut in .22 new not refurbished. I also after shooting a tin of pellets, Crossman Premiers, decided to add a Vortek tune kit. This one easy change turned a good shooting airgun into an absolute tack driver. By smoothing out the shot cycle it decreased the hold sensitivity and made the airgun easier to shoot from less than ideal shooting positions. As many do I can highly recommend an Air Arms TX 200 MK III. As it comes from Air Arms I do not think it is perfect but with a small amount of effort it does come close.

    Things I liked:

Beautiful blue chrome finish that can't be seen on the pictures. Excellent trigger and very easy to shoot accurately. Build quality seems good.

    Things I would have changed:

I would increase the power by 200 fps. I make the rifle lighter, add adjustable stock extensions. Seems to short.

    What others should know:

I turned in a Diana 460 magnum and was very lucky to get this refurbished rifle with just a couple of nicks on it and an over adjusted trigger which was way too light. I was able to readjust the trigger and it shoots perfectly now. I compared the gun to the ones I have, Gamo magnum, Whisper Swarm, Hatsan 105,125,155,Diana 460. I still prefer the Hatsan 155 after learning how to shoot this beast accurately.

    Things I liked:

The blue chrome looks beautiful which can't be seen on the pictures. The adjustable trigger is perfect and overall build is good.

    Things I would have changed:

The rifle is very heavy for a short rifle and power seems a little weak so I hope they could increase it by 200fps.

    What others should know:

I purchased this refurbished one which replaced a refurbished Diana 460 magnum which fell apart on me. The Diana was great except for build quality(poor). I compared this gun with some of the guns I have like a Gamo Magnum,aWhisper Swarm, Hatsan 125,155 torpedo, and have come to a conclusions that my Hatsan 155 is my favorite.

    Things I liked:

Ive changed my outlook on the TX200 , It is a great looking rifle with a very good trigger and the bluing is superb.

    Things I would have changed:

Safety is bad, cocking lever need as I said in my last review the same feature as the carbine. after having the rifle one day. I'll explain below.

    What others should know:

I was very upset upon arrival of my gun with the poor packaging and a box with 7 what looked like 7- 22 caliber holes in it. having the rifle only one day and all those issues that came up. Anyway I was anxious to try it out and failed to check it over good like I normally would, I did not check the screws, I mounted my scope and stated to fire away. The safety took 10 shots and pulling the cocking lever very hard to engage. after approximatley 25 shots I cleaned the barrel and was wiping it down with oil when I first noticed the crack in the stock at the rear of the action above the grip. I was now really upset. I cannot honestly say if it arrived like this or it happened while shooting. It was a refurbished rifle that I purchased with tax over $700, Wish now I would of bought a new one. However PA has always been very helpful and has fixed problems that occurred before. I just hope they will help me now, I really don't want a refund ,just another rifle or different stock.

    Things I liked:

Nice looking rifle ,ok trigger and finish is ok.

    Things I would have changed:

Fix the cheap safety that does not function 50% of the time, cocking lever is narrow for big hands. Needs the same device added as the carbine.

    What others should know:

I purchased mine and received it on March 5th, had issues right away with the safety. This is my first refurbished air gun and for spending with tax over $700 Im really disappointed. I assumed the gun was broken in since it was a used gun, The box it came in was all beat up with seven 22 cal holes in it. The packing was nothing ,two rolled up pieces of wrapping paper and was very loose inside the shipping box. I unpacked it and decided to mount my glass on it. After 25 shots I decided it was enough for the day, accuracy was ok. I then cleaned the barrel took 19 patches . I then was applying oil to all the metal parts when my clothe caught on something near the tang. I looked closer and could see the stock had a crack in it. I learned a lesson, buy new. Im hoping PA will do something for me, even replacing the stock will be fine, I'll see on Monday as there closed on Saturday. They have always in the past been good to deal with but I never bought a refurbished gun before.

    Things I liked:

The TX 200 is a good looking rifle, excellent bluing, good trigger.

    Things I would have changed:

Cocking is easy but needs something at the end of cocking lever to help the hold and keeping your hand from slipping off as mine did. Like what's on the carbine model.

    What others should know:

Mine was a refurbished gun that looked to be in new condition . I just received it today. The packing was terrible and the shipping box had 2 little bundles of paper as packing causing the gun to bounce around and the factory box had 7 -22 caliber holes in it. no manual but I was able to down load it. Since this was a refurbished rifle I assumed it was broken in. But I tried 6 different pellets with just ok results. My Weihrauch 97K is a lot more accurate, I cleaned the barrel and it did shoot alittle better ,the best was with JSB 14.35 gr. My rating of only 3 stars was based on these results. Hopefully this will get better results the more i shoot it. I might add a tuning kit if I could find one, out of stock. I now know why.

    Things I liked:

Absolutely beautiful rifle. The bluing is superb. The Walnut stock is very nice looking. But looks aside.......this is a very accurate rifle. It has won so many shooting titles and it is little wonder why. It is a world class springer.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing I can think of.

    What others should know:

Understand that the shot cycle of any springer can be improved with an aftermarket spring kit. There are no exceptions to this. I have shot spring guns for years and this always holds true.

    Things I liked:

Beautiful rifle, scope is as high end as you would want for pellet gun, the trigger is smooth as silk.

    Things I would have changed:

All components come loose quickly requiring the shooter to have Allen keys on hand to tighten and re-zero frequently (between 50-100 shots often sooner).

    What others should know:

I have shot 1000 rounds of 14.3 grain Crossman .22 through it. This rifle outperforms my powder .22 at 50 yards in terms of accuracy. I like precision shooting and find that this can save me money from buying powder rounds and gives me the feeling of long distance shooting without needing to leave my house. The muzzle velocity is 750 fps plus and minus about 10 fps. At 25 yards I was measuring around 680 fps.

Accuracy, Fit & finish of parts

    Things I would have changed:

Spring guides could have better fitment. The older tx200 had no buzz out of the box.

    What others should know:

I love this rifle so much I have two of them tx200 .177 and a Tuned tx200hc that is 10 years old. If I could have only one air rifle it would be AIR ARMS RIFLE.

    Things I liked:

Trigger is excellent and I am use to 2oz. triggers in center fire bench rest rifles. Stock fit and appearance is very good as is the bluing.

    Things I would have changed:

Stock finish is very dry. While I like a satin finish, this while very smooth appears to almost have no finish. A minor thing I will change.

    What others should know:

This is my first Springer and have only been able to shoot it once, at 25 yards due to poor weather conditions. I had a run of 6 shoots that looked like one before the wind came.I will learn how to shoot ]it this winter as I found an indoor range 10 min from my house. At this point I am impressed.

    Things I liked:

Excellent design and execution, very ergonomic Monte Carlo stock with a nice high cheek relief with a custom feel. Good power and the accuracy is definitely there! I got the walnut stock (nicely done) and the fittings are top notch. Smooth firing cycle. A bit heavy but I feel that it would not as accurate if it wasnt as heavy. I have both the .22 and the .177 caliber. Looks to be easily to be worked on. Good bluing work. Average noise level. Seems to be not pellet sensitive as some airguns I own.

    Things I would have changed:

The walnut stock was a bit dry and it didnt really have a full finish on it, just slightly oiled. I am using Balistol on it for now and its fine!

    What others should know:

Definitely worth the money for the craftsmanship and materials used. I have a number of different airguns and this might be better than the well known German brand which I own quite a few of. Time will tell if it will hold up as well, but I feel that it be functional for many years.

    Things I liked:

Excellent quality build, beautiful stock and bluing, very accurate, low recoil for the power, quiet enough to be backyard friendly. This gun feels fantastic when you shoulder it. Just seems to fit perfectly. Great price for the combo. The scope is matched perfectly since it is short enough to allow plenty of clearance to load a pellet. All the videos out there saying this is the best ever springer are certainly correct as far as the ones I have seen. German made Lothar Walther barrel, Italian Minelli stock, and the rest made in England. And of course, Hawke AirMax scopes are great. Also the supplied mount is solid, well made, and fits perfectly.

    Things I would have changed:

I usually try to find some little thing I would change, but for me, this rifle scope combo is perfect. Can't think of a thing I would change.

    What others should know:

Domed pellets are easier to load than hollow points. Pyramid Air has very fast free shipping and great customer service should you need it. They all seem to be very polite, friendly, knowledgeable people.

    Things I liked:

The TX200 is pretty much as advertised. A very enjoyable rifle to shoot and spend time with.

    Things I would have changed:

For as much money as it costs, and as long as it took to get, you would think they would get the stain on the stock even. The corners on mine are white. Also, the automatic safety rarely activates, so that when it does, it ruins your off hand shots.

    What others should know:

Check the stock screws when you get yours. Don't crush them when you tighten them, but it is MUCH more accurate when the stock screws are tight.
