A favorite among competitive shooters and sportsmen! Whether you're looking for power, accuracy, or excellent fit and finish, the TX200 MkIII has it. It's ideal for anything from competing in local field target matches to hunting.
The TX200 Mk III features a Lothar Walther barrel and a richly finished Monte Carlo stock with a raised cheekpiece and deep, flawless bluing. In addition to the superior fit and finish, the TX200 Mk III features a two-stage trigger and an automatic safety. Loading is via a sliding breech, which is revealed when you cock the underlever. You have to mount a scope since it doesn't come with open sights.
It shoots at 930 fps in .177 and 755 fps in .22. Air Arms products, including the TX200, are known for accuracy in all calibers. Use the guns for hunting (.22 recommended) or field target (.177 only). You don't have to stop there! It's great for plinking, shooting spinners, killing tin cans or popping paper targets. Enjoy the relatively quiet report and moderate recoil from a gun that has a long heritage of accuracy.

Got Lucky with my purchase. i have been reading the bad experiences people have been having with the order of this refurbished rifle. I was dreading that I might experience the same disapointment that some of you had. The gun I purchased was very dusty but nothing that a good clean up could do. I clened out the barrel then did a complete wipe down and clean of the rifle. Next I inspected the entire stock and removed it. The only flaw I could find was a tiny blemish in the blued barrel that was barely noticicable. Then I checked the safety operation and decocking to make sure my gun was sound. Everything worked perfectly. Then I loaded the rifle and took my first shot. Oh..My..gosh! This gun is an amazing shooter. The shot cycle is quick and kicks just a little. The gun moves straight back provided you have a proper artillery hold and have the gun on its balance point. The trigger is out of this world and I had no need to adjust it. The pull felt around a pound.
Things I would have changed:I wouldnt change anything. I paid a lot of money for a refurbished rifle but every penny spent was worth it.
What others should know:I am shot many springers in this gun has jumped up to my top three. my big three are hw97K, hw95L, and this gun. If you are looking for a world class springer consider this one.

Appearance, build quality and street appeal, five plus stars.
Things I would have changed:Offer a fully tuned version with the finest tuning components regardless of cost. The TX 200 MK III is good enough to make the best use of a complete quality tune job.
What others should know:I found that the version I purchased is very hold sensitive. Walnut in .22 new not refurbished. I also after shooting a tin of pellets, Crossman Premiers, decided to add a Vortek tune kit. This one easy change turned a good shooting airgun into an absolute tack driver. By smoothing out the shot cycle it decreased the hold sensitivity and made the airgun easier to shoot from less than ideal shooting positions. As many do I can highly recommend an Air Arms TX 200 MK III. As it comes from Air Arms I do not think it is perfect but with a small amount of effort it does come close.

Excellent fit and finish.
Things I would have changed:The finish on the mating faces of the trigger sears and compression tube are terrible. Air Arms should go back to their original machining practices and rectify the current shotty work.
What others should know:Air Arms quality regarding the TX200 is not what it used to be.
