Things I liked:

I have wanted a Bullpup for quite a while but couldnt justify the high price most makers were asking. The Air Venturi Avenger Bullpup check all my boxes and the price was within my budget. It came regulated, the stock has pre-molded rail and storage for rotary clips, a long scope rail is provided. The adjustable trigger is very good. I have multiple .22 & .25 PCPs so I went with a .177 to change things up. After a fun week of pellet testing it is shooting single hole groups indoors at 50 feet. Waiting for the weather to break so I can get to the range. Really love this gun.

Things I would have changed:

I find the side lever acceptable but agree a more forward position would be nice.

What others should know:

Great value for the money !

Things I liked:

I like the shorter gun for how I use them. I like the way air Venturi guns shoot, the side cocking, their clips, and accuracy except the bull pup.

Things I would have changed:

The stock. The stock looks good until you remove it and find the thin plastic mounting bases that settle and give out. Needs to have a better designed mounting system. All Air Venturi air rifles should come standard with barrel clamps. Would like to see the stock only mounted in 2 places.

What others should know:

This gun shot good for a short time then POI would shift all over. The way you held it started to matter greatly. The tightness of the rear stock mounting screw is critical to accuracy. I have owned two other Air Venturi avengers with the wood stock and really liked them. They would both shoot nickel size groups at 50 yards. The bull pup will do it to if you hold it just right. Buy the wood stock version instead of the bullpup. If I could buy the parts and pieces to convert this bull pup to a wood stock version I would do it, then the accuracy issues would be resolved. My bull pup is in .22 cal. and I’m shooting Hades pellets at 905fps, std dev=4.5 or I shoot JSB 18.13 pellets at 885fps. My dislike is how the poi shifts with how you hold the gun! It isn’t consistent enough to take hunting.

High end features at a budget price , solid gun

    Things I would have changed:

With it being a bullpuo the trigger is a bit fidgety left and right but no affect really on the overall feel of the gun

    Things I liked:

not things I like, things I love: externally adjustable everything, accuracy is among the best I have seen at this price point, the magazines work well and are reasonably priced. sets up on a bipod really nice and feels very comfortable to hold and shoot.

    Things I would have changed:

my only grip that's worth mentioning is the trigger is not the best, its manageable but takes time to learn.

    What others should know:

if you're thinking about getting this gun, stop thinking and just give these fine people your money and never look back! this gun is incredible. the fact that for 300 bucks you can go from shooting 16 grain pellets at 900 fps all the way to 25 grain pellets (22 cal) at 900fps is a tremendous feat, so yeah...just do it.

    Things I liked:

The skin is easy to handle, accurate, and fairly lightweight. I have a UGT scope on it. Overall, this makes a great backyard fun gun.

    Things I would have changed:

    THE TRIGGER

    What others should know:

I have three bullpups. Be aware that bullpup rifles have the worlds worst triggers. They are generally two stage and both stages are very long, especially the second stage. I have tried adjusting the trigger of my Air Venturi bullpup to find a wall in the second stage and have had little to no success. The problem is the linkage between the trigger and the magazine mechanism. So if youre comfortable with long and mushy triggers, this is the rifle for you. By the way, my bullpup with a great trigger is a DayState Renegade. It works so well because the trigger is electronic.

    Things I liked:

This rifle shoots like a dream. Smooth pull on the lever, adjustable trigger and external regulator are a super cool bonus. I got the .177 version for plinking targets and gophers in my backyard. It’s not too loud to shoot in the backyard and is surprisingly powerful. I only have 30 yards of shooting space so I can’t speak for long shots, but at 39 yards I receive dime sized accuracy. Very few flyers also. I love how they send you extra mags but I bought 2 extra anyway. 2 extra mags fit right under the buttstock in these convenient little slots. Side note for people on a budget, I pump this up with a $40 hand pump I bought on Amazon. It’s a little workout but gets the job done. I probably get 70 good shots off one tank with 3000 PSI. I do have the regulator set a bit high at 2000 and am achieving 1000 FPS consistently. Very cool gun.

    Things I would have changed:

Can’t think of anything to change.

    What others should know:

Make sure to check your regulator after a few shots to make sure Pyramyd sent it back with the proper PSI. I got the .177 version and bought the 10 for $10 and noticed it came full of air (3000 PSI) but also my regulator was set to 2800. Which is way too high for .177. I think that’s the .25 caliber recommendation so I changed it to 1900-2000. Just a bit over their recommended settings. Great gun. Can’t wait to buy my next one.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy straight out of the box.I got the .22 this time. Had a cheap scope on hand so didn't need to move my higher ends scopes from another gun. Started at 15yards and was astonished when all I needed to do was raise my scope elevation to align to the POI and windage didn't need adjusting. 3 shots and it was zeroed so I backed up to 30yds, lowered elevation, but still didn't require windage adjustments. I used JSB 18grn and was amazed to get hole in hole at 30yrds with such minor adjusting. I didn't clean the barrel, made no adjustments to the gun, I did select 10 for $10 as I learned on my Gauntlet 2 purchase that shipped with a misaligned air tank to always have the Pyramyd team inspect and shoot guns prior to shipping. I was planning on setting this gun up as my lower powered plinker, but nope - not changing anything now. I have the original Avenger in.22 Woodstock version and while it's accurate now, I had to add a barrel band, DonnyFL, reduce reg to 1800psi

    Things I would have changed:

At this price to performance ratio I can't think anything to add, remove, or change.

    What others should know:

Just buy it. As a hobbiest and enthusiast, this is the one to buy

    Things I liked:

I love this rifle, it's accurate and pretty powerful. I use this rifle for small game hunting and paired it with the Hawke Vantage IR 3-9x50 scope and I've lost track of how many squirrels I've gotten with this rifle. I used the H&N 23gr, .217 hollow point slugs and my rifle loves these, almost slug on slug accuracy. I decided to give the JSB Jumbo Monster Redesigned 25.39gr pellets and the accuracy disappeared, I went through an entire tin of these before a gave up and went back to the 23gr H&N slugs and the accuracy returned, I seldom had to use more than one shot on the squirrels that I've hunted using the 23gr H&N slugs, I was lucky to even hit the squirrels using the JSB's. The rifle is light weight and easy to maneuver in heavily wooded environments.

    Things I would have changed:

An anti-double feed device for the ammo would be nice, I accidently double fed ammo into the barrel and had to remove them with a plastic rod, but if you're paying attention you shouldn't have any issues.

    What others should know:

Just pay attention while loading your rifle to avoid double feeding ammo into the barrel and all should be well.

    Things I liked:

(.25 Cal) Performs as described. Good balance, and accurate. Thanks Pyramyd for the HP Performance tune. I'm impressed with the tack driver response from this Avenger Bullpup.

    Things I would have changed:

From a manufactor standpoint, sell a complete rifle, not having to install barrel bands after you get the product.

    What others should know:

Get the barrel band installed, really helps fine tune the accuracy and minimize movement.

    Things I liked:

I got a .22 caliber Refurbished model. Everything is great, but it could be a bit lighter weight. So far, like my wood stocked Avenger in .22, this groups 1/4" or better at 20 yards. I added my own 3D printed barrel band and rear picatinny support, the Donny FL adapter (to center the barrel in the shroud), and an A.E. Swede trigger sear tuner, and topped it with a Vortex 3-18 x 44mm scope. So far, both my avengers do not seem to be pellet-picky; I will have a better idea if they are once I start reaching out past 50 yards, which I have not done yet. The bullpup is much more single-shot-tray friendly than the rifle due to the scope being forward mounted. The plastic stock has a good finish and fit, and seems very solid; the only difference I notice from the wood stocked Avenger is that the plastic stock transmits more noise through it upon firing; the wood stock really dampens noise well.

    Things I would have changed:

Make the bottom picatinny rail removable - being molded into the stock does not make it as shooting rest friendly as it could be (the side rails are removable). Get rid of the noise transmitted through the plastic stock. Better internal shroud noise-suppression and a threaded shroud cap to accept a moderator.

    What others should know:

I got a refurbished rifle in .22 - the first one leaked, which was not caught in doing the 10-for-$10. PA took care of the issue and luckily, had another refurbished .22 to send me; this time I not only paid for the 10 -for-$10, but also paid for the 24-hour leak test - so far, this one is not leaking at all. The refurbished rifles (both of the ones I received) look like new and unused, I would not hesitate to buy another refurbished gun from PA. Unlike my wooden stock Avenger, I did not have to shim the picatinny rail (I ended up making my own 20 MOA pic. rails for that rifle); after measuring with a caliper, it appears to already have a slight downward slope towards the muzzle. Don't hesitate to pay extra for the 10-for-$10 and the $10 for the 24-hour leak test; it is worth it to make sure you get a good working airgun. Un-suppressed, I would not consider this back-yard friendly.

    Things I liked:

The gun was a great shooter right out of the box. I probably have 300+ rounds threw it and now it's a tack driver. Dime size groups in 22 caliber at 50 yards!!

    Things I would have changed:

I installed a barrel band and it greatly helped with POI , they should come with the gun.

    What others should know:

My gun has some regulator creep after setting for a couple of days which causes a POI change on the first shot. I always fire one shot before hunting with it or a trip to the range. Great, GREAT gun!!!

I own a Gamo 22, an AEA sf standard 30 cal, and this in bullpup 25 cal, this is my favorite one. Sure the AEA semi auto is fun, but this little guy is so accurate and so dependable!

    Things I would have changed:

I wonder if the 210cc tank would fit mine? Shot count on my setting is about 30, I get about 70 shots from my AEA. So I would increase the tank size but I think they have in the newer models.

    What others should know:

I use only JSB 34 grain pellets and can shot through the metal on a washing machine, every shot. They, hit, HARD!

    Things I liked:

Supported well by Pyramyd Air and Air Venturi but mine had accuracy problems that could not be resolved.

    Things I would have changed:

    Make it consistently accurate.

    What others should know:

Started out shooting tight and accurate groups. After a few weeks, changed drastically and out of 10 shots, 6 would be in a tight group and 4 would be scatted diagonally and horizontally. I tried every possible setting of regulator and hammer and 13 types and weights of pellets, over a day and 1/2. Could not get consistent tight groups. Pyramyd Air and Air Venturi tried everything possible to assist with this problem. This is a heavy and top heavy airgun. Not very compact or comfortable to shoot. I found customer support to be excellent and responsive. Accessible as well, but accuracy issue could not be r resolved. I returned for refund under their 60 day satisfaction guarantee and bought a different Bullpup.. Pyramyd Air is the best airgun supplier bar none. I recommend that one not shop anywhere else.

Was leaning right-sided on knife edge. PA put up refurb special for $260 free shipping. While I was thinking, 3 sold, 2 left. Hope that last guy got a good one. This cost less than Benji NP Trail XP in .22 for a .25. Easy to tune, already lots of mods available. Some very good,some-meh.Now that I have a RovAir, I’m gonna get to start getting this puppy dialed in. Rifle has already impressed and has been missin’ on two cylinders. Tomorrow, 300 bar and 2300 psi on jsbhades and diabolo.

    Things I would have changed:

Already did most of it. Bonacci carbon fiber cocking handle, barrel ban brace and rear Pic rail brace. Donny FL barrel brace/moderator with Buck Rail silencer(sloped model). I put a Hawke Vantage 3-9x50 on it and works like a dream of the humid variety. Good strap and Allen bipod. This gun is tall and somewhat top-heavy. Might make offhand a bit of a challenge,’specially on a variably windy delay. WOOD or LAMINATE STOCK and as an aftermarket part. I would by a r-w-b one tomorrow... .,;’*^#.. semi-auto????

    What others should know:

Gonna try some squirrels and ‘coons in the next fewweeks. Might even go after some river bottom hogs’yotes and ol’ Robert kittys soon
