This air gun is smooth and super easy to use. It is not a hard gun to maneuver and i would highly recommend it!
My son is able to use this on his own!

First thing I noticed was the safety. Making the cocking trigger the safety was a great idea. I did have a hard time initially getting the handle to come down so that it could pump the rifle. Found out I was not pulling it quite hard enough. Once that was overcome I loaded in just a few BBs so that I could test fire it before trying to start target shooting. I was very impressed at it's power. All in all I really like this and hope to use it a lot with my daughter

Love the look and feel but the plastic pump lever is kinda hard to disengage and feels flimsy.

My son was pleased with this gun and it was a good price. So far I have no complaints.

Bought this air gun as a starter for my 10 yr old, she loves its design and color. The rifle is fun to shoot and accurate, only knock is that pellets are more difficult to load in the bolt action chamber, BBs are easier to use.

My son got this for Christmas and loves it, unfortunately the sight fell off.

The Barra 1866 junior is a great gun I bought it for my son he loves it and to be honest I love it too it has an amazing appearance the looks of the gun catch your eye and you can't help but be amazed at how great it looks and it's a very accurate gun too I was skeptical at first but it only took me 3 shots to line up the sights and now it's every shot is on target I highly recommend this air rifle

This gun is priced right for the quality of this gun. Positives are it shoots very accurately right out of the box, it shoots both bb's and pellets, and it helps with teaching my 8 year old son how to practice gun safety. Negatives would be the plastic parts of the gun are very light weight and may not last as long as others (safety trigger may be first to go), and it is somewhat hard/awkward for my son to cock. But as I said it is no surprise for what I paid. I would recommend for a first bb/pellet gun for any kids approximately 8 and older.

One of the best I've used. Bought for my kids and no issues they love it, great way to teach them about gun safety.

I bought this for my nephew who loves being out doors and shooting my .22 rimfire rifle. I wanted something safer for him to practice firearm safety and this was just the item. It looks very similar to Henry model rifles shoots great he loves it

Light weight has a plastic stock and grip would rather have the old fashion wood stock but what can I say it's a kid's pellet rifle. Great for keeping up on target practice with out halting to spend a lot money on ammo. Barrel is steel and chamber is cast but feels sturdy. Would prefer the safety and lever be metal too but again it's a kid's pellet rifle. So for price 5 star well worth it great for kids first gun or target practice. I would buy agian.

I really Like my new 1866 junior I got it for Christmas and there is nothing I don't like about it!

Purchased for my son for Christmas and was very pleasantly surprised by the build quality of this air rifle. Doesn't even feel like an air rifle. Very sturdy construction and shoots extremely well. In the words of my son "this thing is awesome"

Easy to use, great for a starter gun to get children ready for the real thing. Even fun for adults.

Growing up my mother wouldn't buy me an air rifle. I Asked for one when I was seven and now at twenty-seven my wife surprised me with one for christmas and I have to say this was the best gift I received this year.

I LIKE THE FACT THATT IT RETURNS TO SAFETY AFTER EVERY COCKING! IT IS THE PERFECT SIZE FOR KIDS! IT IS LIGHTWEIGHT AND NOT TOO COMPLICATED TO USE!

My brother in law bought this for my son for his birthday. I love the auto safety feature. I also love the fact that it looks like a Henry golden boy.

Bought this for my grandson for Christmas. Shot it yesterday and he really enjoyed it! Fairly accurate. Put white nail polish on the front site for better aim. The pump was a little awkward at first but he got the hang of it. Nice starter BB gun.

Love this rifle!!! Great tool to start teaching my kids gun safety!! Totally recommend!
