Great price for what you get. It’s better than similar brands at a better price. I bought the kit for my daughter for Christmas, she loves it.

Great starter air rifle....exceptional quality at a very reasonable price. Very pleased with this little air rifle.

Recently bought the 1866 Junior for the kids to learn safety and fundamentals with. Other air rifle was too large but the 1866 Junior is a great size for them.

Amazing BB gun, thank you guys so much for everything there was no hassle on getting a replacement gun lots of happy kids in the house we're all going to go shoot the BB gun together.
Teaching gun safety!

Bought this for my son to learn how to start shooting. Super simple to use and shoots great. My son is loving it! He was especially excited that it came with his own pair of eye protection! Would definitely purchase again

He wants to go hunting so bad. Your rifle has been an excellent learning tool for him, oh & not to mention, he is a crack shot, after I taught him.how to use the irons. This rifle is excellent and the Aim ( at short distances ) is dead on. I am very pleased with it. The only thing I think could be a bit better would be the actual firing power. He has hunted squirrels, and believe it or not has got one. But all in all, it's great for teaching safety and firing practices.

I honestly have no dislikes, my son absolutely LOVES it. He says he feels like he's holding a "real" gun. Haha. But I love how it came with targets and safety glasses also.

I liked the idea of the price/package for my youngster to start learning about guns and gun safety. Ill start by saying that it was nicely packaged and equipped. It shoots rather straight and did not scare him with a loud pop. I honestly felt like the lever/housing action is a bit on the flimsy side being made from plastic. I am worried about its durability. Other than that, it is a very nice beginner gun.

We purchased this gun for our 9 year old son. He was intimidated to shoot at first but once he did, he loved it! He is spending time target practicing with his dad so it is also wonderful bonding time for them.

Ok, so don't expect the moon with this air rifle. However, what you can expect is a lot of fun, with your kids, and a great way to teach methodical safety procedures.

I love the fact the kit comes with 1000 SS BBs, no lead! While lead is cheap and easy, I don't like the idea of my kids handling them. Love the fact the barrel is rifles, means that shooting pellets is great. I love the fact that you can have BBs and pellets in one good looking rifle.

From the specs, the level seemed like it would be metal, but in the version I received, the lever is definitely plastic. I am not sure the longevity of the lever, and if there was an optional upgrade to metal, I would immediately upgrade it.

I think it is great as a backyard plinker, sights are reasonably accurate.

Boy loves the cowboy gun. We had some issues learning to pump with chamber open to pump and dumping bbs out. Once he got it down though; we were good. I am a little concerned about the pump lever, it flexes fairly hard but so far so good. My son loves it.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my daughter. Her face lit up once she seen it. She has been looking at it in stores and when she actually got it she loves it. She has been practicing daily with it. Super easy for use and kid friendly. I highly recommend this product.

The 1866 Junior is a great starter gun. My son received it for Christmas and has enjoyed it sense. He is a smaller framed kid so the light weight really helped him to be able to hold it properly. He was able to enjoy target practice without his arms getting overly tired. The gun itself is very nicely comprised to be reminiscent of the old style rifles with the gold and woodgrain. I will definitely recommend as a first timer gun.

What I like is that it's accurate for shooting in the yard I can hit cans 30 feet away which is about as big as my backyard I do find it hard to load pellets and the lever should be made of metal I'm worried it's going to break if red rider is metal barra Jr should even the score but Iime it

First, the packaging was great, the functionality of the gun is streamlined, the manufacturing quality appears to be high quality. I haven't had any issues thus far with operation and functionality of the gun. The only concern I have is the finish longevity and toughness with weather meaning dampness and or light rain from time to time. Great gun. Do yall have a gun safety video for kids ? of course, my grandson has learned from me and will attend gun safety training, but I would like for him to watch a video or two.
