After teaching him how it works and how to load pellets and BBs, he was surprised and very pleased with the amount of kick, force, and accuracy out of the box the 1866 rifle was. He loved the aesthetic, and immediately put up some targets to start plinking. He said he might try to use the pellets for small game and pest, to which I wished him luck (unsure if its got the strength for that, might need more fps unless close to his target). He was like a child with a new toy, and we couldn't be happier

I just received my lever action cowboy series rifle and I admit I'm very impressed with the craftsmanship and Power. I'm still working on my accuracy, but believe it's my eyes more than the rifle. I hitting my target but striving for Dead On. Overall I recommend the rifle, as my humble opinion. Thanks Barra for a nice Rifle.

First off the old style caught my attention,love the gold finish,has good weight all around. The barrel has good length, shots are real smooth only thing I would change is the plastic stock wish it was wood other than that it's an all around good gun that's y I gave it a 4 star

I wanted to experience target shooting with my husband and this rifle is perfect to do just that. It looks good,is easy to use and is extremely accurate even when used by a novice like me. I am very happy with my purchase.

I find this Barra Airgun the real thing. It's absolutely fantastic. The realism is amazing and accuracy brings a smile to my face. It's everything I wanted in an air gun. Everyone should hold this in hand and fire away all day. Simply gets the job done and economically impressive.

I have no idea what I was expecting but it wasn't this. Beautiful gun with just the right feel to it. Has amazing power after only just a few pumps. No problems with it at all so far after putting a few pellets and BBs through it. Beautifully made, I would recommend this to anyone, beginner or expert.

I like the Barra 1866 Cowboy Series air rifle! My real name is Jesse James, so it is very fitting. The rifle shoots well with bb's and pellets. The accuracy isn't great, but not terrible. It does need a scope to be more accurate. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase.
