I like the fact that it looks and feels like a real gun and has multiple safety's, the only thing I do not like is the lever action is so long

Purchased this rifle for my son just like the Christmas Story dad. It is a Christmas present, but I fired it a few times before wrapping it. I was very satisfied with its performance.

Kids love this safe airgun. I even played target practice woth my oldest and I had a blast even !! Great way for us to bond. Very fun and accurate with alot of power too so please be safe

I like the lightness of the gun. The sights are great. I bought for my grandchild, it is a perfect fit for her, the pump very easy to pump. I am very pleased with this gun.
Things I would have changed:I can't think of anything.
What others should know:Be safe with children, teach them gun safety. They do have quite a pop.

Got the item for my daughter for Christmas it's beautiful love the wood work on it. It shoot great as well easy to aim light weight just what we needed for our daughter to learn how to shoot.

Looks cool. Good inexpensive gun.
Things I would have changed:The way the pellets are to be loaded into the gun. The way to pump up. On mine, it seems I need to cock the gun before it will allow pumping.
What others should know:Loading the pellet sucks. Takes way to long. Very difficult to simply drop the pellet in. Need to use a stick or something similar to get the pellet straight. Most of the time the pellet drops into the area of the b-b's. Not a good design.

Interesting looks, easy to pump up, selectability of power levels.
Things I would have changed:Improve trigger, have a dovetail or some method to easily mount a scope, that doesn't detract too much from the looks.
What others should know:Difficult to load pellets, may need a tweezer to load pellet if you have large fingers. Have to be careful to keep pellet from getting into BB feed hole, just don't pull cocking bolt back past the feed hole.

Things I would have changed:Very hard for me to put pellets in the gun! My fingers are very large.
What others should know:Shoots very hard but I don't care for the very long pump handle, awkward.

First impressions....it's a beautiful looking BB gun. I like the care to detail. The pump action, trigger, loading slide are all very smooth and easy to use. The pump lever feels pretty solid. It's easy to load, and is easy to reload without issue. My only issue, which could be a good or bad, is the plastic stock. It is solid, but feels a bit too thin on the plastic quality. The positive side is it is really well balanced to hold and shoot, which is the positive of the light overall weight of the BB gun. I'm comfortable enough to purchase another 1866 model. Gotta get the gold looking one to match. Looks good.
