I bought this a couple weeks ago for my son to assist in teaching him firearm safety. Right out the box, I had doubts. My biggest concern was the material it was made out of. Most of it is plastic. I would have paid more for an actual wood stock But, for the price, this air rifle is worth it. It shoots straight. I was surprised on how well it functions. I recommend, its worth the dollar.

This is an awesome weapon form my Grandson. He joined ROTC in school and signed up for the Marksman program . The style , weight and accuracy of the gun is funnominal . I would highly recommend this for this age group.

I got this gun and immediately took it out shooting I was confused on the process to firing at first but figured it out pretty fast only complaint is that it's a little long of a process of firing but otherwise great weapon highly recommend!

We purchased the 1866 for a birthday present, the best looking and perfect weight for this rifle. Handling is easy and operation is how the manufacturer described. I would recommend this air rifle for anyone that wants to add style and function to their collection.

Recently purchased this air rifle for my son’s bithday and he absolutely loves it!! He said its the best one he has ever had granted he’s only 8, but loves to plink all day with this rifle. He says shoots very straight at 10 pumps and could not be happier. Money well spent for a quality built item and he loves its a cowboy gun

I bought this pellet gun because it looks like a quality gun and let's be honest it's the coolest looking air gun out there. The air gun performs as good as it looks too! It is easy to load and is very accurate with just a minor site adjustment and I was on target. I'm sure this quality gun will last and give many years of fun.

I got this gun a week ago for a cosplay but still wanted to try it out like a airsoft gun, when using the gun I got confused on the crank shaft before realizing it was just stuck inside the gun and had to force it out, still works and looks cool

I bought this rifle not really knowing alot about it, kind of skeptical I purchased it and when I first saw it, I was impressed with its style and its presentation it made me glad I got it, but when I saw its power and quality I was truly hooked. I just got the 1866 and I have to say l have shot many airguns in my life and this is one is one of the best. The balance, accuracy and workmanship are on par with top of the line .22 rifles that I have fired before. All in all, I am very pleased with the 1866. Thank you Barra!
